Patricia Louise Law, 55, of Danville died July 23, 2007.
She was born May 7, 1952 in Hensley to the late Thomas and Thelma Duncan Mayfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children, Michelle Bucher of Austin and Jerry Don Peeks Jr. of Cabot; four sisters, Edna Pauline Moody of Jacksonville, Wanda Lee Chandler of Mayflower, Loretta Denning of Cabot and Beatrice Huey of Maumelle; two brothers, Melvin Mayfield of Little Rock and Elmer Mayfield of Cabot, and four grandchildren, Tiffany and Jerry Peeks, Casey Calvert and Rebecca Gabbard.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 27 at Orion cemetery in Redfield with Bro. Jim Stanley officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 26 at the funeral home.
Arrangements will be by Moore s Cabot Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Glover; son, Joe Dan Glover, Jr. of Denver, Colo.; daughters, Christy McDaniel and husband Pat of North Richland Hills, Texas, and Marijo McCain and husband Ken of Dayton, Ohio; three grandchildren, Paige and Mary McDaniel and Logan McCain; brothers, Roy Dean Glover and Clifton Duane Glover and wife Dot of Lonoke, Alan Wayne Glover and wife Brenda of Cabot, and a sister-in-law, Jeannie Glover of Sherwood.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Annie Glover, and siblings, Ernie and Charla Rose.
Funeral services were Monday, July 23 at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel in Lonoke. Burial followed in Hicks cemetery.
Wanda Castera
Wanda Sue Castera, 60, of McRae died July 20, 2007 at her residence.
She was born Aug. 27, 1946, at Guy and was a proud resident of the McRae community.
She was a member of the McRae Citizens Patrol and an Avon representative for 23 years.
She was loved by many friends and family and was a very proud Memaw of 23 grandbabies.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny C. Castera; one sister, Molly Bradford; and one brother, William (Dub) Bradford.
She is survived by her mother, Betty Sue Bradford; six children, Danna Knapp of Wilburn, Buddy Sims, Tabatha Denney, Jerry Don Morris and David Castera, all of McRae, and Sherrie Hite of Searcy; two sisters, Shirley Osborn and Jerri Bradford; three brothers, Elvin, Deaner and Earl Bradford.
Funeral services were Monday, July 23 at Westbrook Funeral Home with Bro. Mack Davis officiating.
Bill Light, 41, of Beebe went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 22, 2007.
He was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Marie; two sons, Joshua and Joseph, both of Beebe; two daughters, Jamie of North Carolina and Jessie of Beebe; two sisters, Velmina May of Beebe and Elbie Carls of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were July 24 at Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe with burial in Beebe cemetery.
She is survived by her parents, Connie Williams and Joseph Yarberry; a brother, Joseph 'Joey' Yarberry; grandparents, Maynard and Edith McDonald, Kenneth and Ethel Morden, all of Jacksonville, and Charles and Lana Yarberry of Mississippi.
Funeral services were Monday, July 23 at Concord United Methodist Church with burial in Concord cemetery.

Survivors include his parents, Sean and Josephine Alvis; three sisters, Grace, Abigail and Keilah Alvis, all of Bearden; grandparents, Gary and Sandy Alvis of Jacksonville and Bud and Lee Treadway of Batesville.
Graveside services were Tuesday, July 24 at Salem cemetery near Bearden.

Clara Sanders
Clara Jean Sanders, 47, went to heaven on Dec. 28, 2007.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Sanders; daughter, Amanda and husband Tony Patterson; son, Robert and wife Danielle Sanders; and parents Robert and Martha Rush, all of Cabot; brothers, Robert Rush of Kansas, Anthony Rush of West Virginia, David Hannah of California and Don Lee Rush of Cabot; grandchildren, Josie Sanders, Donovan Sanders, Ronnie Mason, Abigail Patterson and Anthony Patterson.
She is survived by her son, Anthony Scott Fortune of McRae; daughters, Paula Fortune of Beebe and Frankie Miller of McRae; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Dec. 31 at Westbrook Funeral Home of Beebe with burial in Lebanon cemetery.
Alfreda Gregory
Alfreda May Rea Gregory, 92, of Ward went to be with her Lord Dec. 26, 2007 at Searcy.
She was born Nov. 10, 1915, to William Andrew Rea and Anna Holden Rea at Van, Penn.
She married
Thomas B. Gregory Aug. 6, 1934, at the home of her parents at Cyclone, Penn.
She moved from Limestone, N.Y., in 1952 to Hobbs, N.M.
Then the family was transferred to Lovington, N.M.
She was society editor for the Lovington Daily Leader and correspondent for the Hobbs News Sun and the Lubbock Avalanche Journal.
She worked for B & J Drug for 11 years.
She was a member of Lovington United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Susanna Circle, Thursday Bible study, AARP, Eight O'clock Breakfast, Wacky Widows Club and Tuesday evening 84 Card Club.
She was Lovington Mother of the Year.
She loved to travel, visiting 14 countries and the Vancouver Islands plus 48 states, having missed North Dakota and Minnesota.
She and Tom spent their 45th wedding anniversary in Berlin, Germany.
She loved hunting, fishing and camping.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; a son, Lawrence, her parents and four brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by a son, James L. Gregory and wife Gladys of Midland, Texas; a daughter, Judy Gore and husband J.W. of Ward; daughter-in-law, Herriet Gregory of Hobbs, N.M.; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Lovington cemetery at Lovington, N.M. by Stevens Funeral Home.
Local arrangements were by Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe.
Ronnie Sammons
Ronnie 'Kenny' Sammons, 29, of Ward passed away Jan. 2, 2008.
He was born July 2, 1978 in Searcy, to Joyce Ragan of Ward and Ronnie Sammons.
Kenny attended Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church in Butlerville and was employed by Cabot Public Schools.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gracie and Clarence Haley and Maggie Sammons; his brother, Larry Ragen, and stepfather, Earnest Ragan.
Survivors include his loving mother, Joyce; stepbrothers, James Ragan and Michael Ragen; stepsisters Patty Bridges, Rosana (Bobby) Davis; sister in-law, Linda Ragan; grandfather, Frank Sammons; aunts and uncles, Alice Knocke, J. C. (Jean) Haley, John (Joyce Ann) Haley all of Ward, Oscar (Martha) Haley of Romance, Christine Toone of Lonoke, Frances (Freddie) Pitts of Austin, Irene Kean of Little Rock, James (Betty) Haley of California and Geneva Haley of Judsonia.
