Funeral services for T. G. (Jack) Kincaid, 82, of the Southland Community will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 27 2004 at the Phillips, Lee, Monroe and Desha District Center at Helena Crossing. Burial will be in the Springlake cemetery in the Southland Community.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday at the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home.
Kincaid was well known and respected in the community. He farmed for years and truly loved farming. He later owned a caf for years while raising his children and also worked for West Helena SportsWear for many years. He was truly a hard working family man, who earned the respect of his children, peers and the business community.
His wife of 62 years preceded him in death in 2002.
He leaves to cherish his memory seven sons, T.G. James Kincaid of Southland, Freddie and Hattie Kincaid of Wichita, Kan., Russell and Gwen Kincaid of Southfield, Mich., Labon-Tab Kincaid of Southland, Basil and Susan Kincaid and Calvin Kincaid of St. Louis, Mo., Steven and Pat Eldridge of Little Rock; four daughters, Mary Stringfellow, Laura and Lawrence Whitfield, Beulah and Jimmie Screws of Southland, Gloria and Richard Washington of Little Rock; a sister, Stella Mae Harvey of Milwaukee, Wis., three brothers, J.W. Kincaid of Peterbury, Va., W.C. and Mary Ann Kincaid of New Haven, Mich., T.C. and Rosemary Kincaid of the Southland Community, 24 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Willie Mae West, 73, of Helena will be held at 1 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2004 at the King Solomon Baptist Church in Helena. Burial will be in the Jackson Memorial cemetery in the Southland Community.

West, born Aug. 10, 1931 to Saul and Isabella Hoskins in Scotts, Miss., died June 18, 2004 at Helena Regional Medical Center.
She was a faithful member of the Gumwood church under the leadership of the Rev. Dr. P.L. Perkins and later moved to Helena and joined the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, also pastured by Rev. Perkins.
She united in marriage with Alonzo West and nine children were born to their union. She was preceded in death by her husband and two daughters Katie and MaSeinor West.
She leaves to mourn her passing three daughters Emma and Willie Brown of Louisiana, Shirley and Jiles Mills of West Helena, Fannie and Rickey Reed of Louisiana; four sons Sammy Smith, Alonzo and Brenda West Jr., Marcel West and Charles West all of West Helena; 19 grandchildren; four great grandchildren, LaQuawndria Harmon, Enone, Enonedrea and Gabrielle Thompson, and many other relatives and friends who were very dear to her.

Chisnall, born March 13, 1928 in Fisher, Ark., died June 24, 2004 at her home. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She leaves three sons Robert L. Chisnall III of Lexa, Dale Chisnall of West Helena and Terry Chisnall of Lake City; a daughter Gayle Walsh of West Helena; a brother Theadore Wells of Columbus, Ind., two sisters Anita Clay of Hope, Ind., and Doris Lortz of Columbus, Ind., eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Her husband Robert L. Chisnall Jr., a sister Nina Lynch and a brother Roscoe Wells Jr. preceded her in death.
Pallbearers will be Mike Walsh George Wright, Paul Dilks, Jimbo Doyle, Chad Chisnall and Olien Chisnall.

Her husband Billy Parker and a son Billy Dewayne Parker and two brothers Buddy Wayne Coleman and Robert Gene Coleman preceded her in death.

She confessed a hope in Christ under the leadership of Brother James Hill at the Church of Christ and remained a member under the leadership of Brother Otis Dawson until her death.
She first married
Liland Williams, who preceded her in death. Their daughter, Curtie "Bee" Williams and a brother, Eddie Lee Hankins also preceded her in death.
She later remarried
and remained married
to John Kuykendall for 49 years being a loyal and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother until passed away Tuesday.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband John Kuykendall of Elaine; her stepmother, Theola Watts of West Helena; three sons, Donnell Gathings of Chicago, Leon Williams and Troy Kuykendall of Elaine; nine sisters, Georgia Moore, Lucy Glass and her husband Rufus, Katherine Gathings, Earline Thomas, and Blanchie Lee and her husband Robert, all of Elaine, Bessie Young of Madison, Wis., Rosie Lee Hankins of Chicago, Ruby Johnson and her husband, Henry of Marion; three brothers, Will Hankins and his wife Gloria of Ferguson, Chancy Hankins Jr. of Chicago, and Oscar Hankins of Mellwood, an aunt, Mattie Winters-Rightout of Oakland, Calif.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a devoted neighbor and friend, Mary Hart, and Rosie Cooper; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
