Henson, born March 15, 1953 in Helena died June 14, 2004, at her home in West Helena.
She was director of health and safety for AT&G; Tool Company in Lexa and a member of the Phillips County Women's Bowling Association.
She leaves her husband Jerry Henson of West Helena; her mother Eunice Godfrey of Hardy; a brother, Albert Godfrey and wife, Pam of Hardy; two aunts, Alma O'Keefe of Hardy and Winnie Thomas of Poplar Grove; two step-daughters, Jami Hardin and husband Larry of Southaven, Miss., and Heather Atkins and husband Thomas of Lexa; grandsons Bret Atkins of Lexa and Trace Hardin of Southaven, Miss., and a host of nieces and nephews. Her father William Albert Godfrey and a brother Harvey Godfrey preceded her in death.

Hacker, born Dec. 20, 1914, in Russellville, Ala., died June 19, 2004, at his home. He was a retired custodian.
He leaves his wife, Beulah Hacker of Lexa; two daughters, Joyce Patton of Lexa and Olene Nichols of West Helena; a son, Billy Hacker of Lexa; a sister Virgie Hood of Memphis; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Cerelius, Clay Bowen, David Patton, Randy Howard, Steven Hacker and Adren Howard.

Funeral services for James (Jimmy) Hansen Kuhre, 72, of West Helena will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at the chapel of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in Barton.

Kuhre, born July 5, 1931 in Harrisburg, La., he had spent most of his life in Phillips County, where he was a Pecan Farmer. He was a member of the Eastern Arkansas Pecan Growers Association and had an honorary doctorate degree from MSU. He was a member of West Helena Baptist Church. Kuhre died June 20, 2004 at his home at West Acres after a brief illness.
He leaves his wife of 54 years, Gwen Taylor Kuhre; a sister Joyce Newgren of Richton Park, Ill., four daughters and their families, Sheri and Mike Hallum of Marianna, Karen West of Jackson, Tenn., Julie and Jim Potts of London, Ark., and Jimmie Kaye Holloway of Hernando, Miss., seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. His mother Marguerite Kuhre and his father James H. Kuhre Sr., preceded him in death.
Active pallbearers will be Freddie Gray, J.T. Brown, Mike Hallum, Larry Gregory, Jim Potts and Doug Byrd. Honorary pallbearers will be John Barrow, Charles Buckliew, Charles Walls, Bill Blackburn, Marvin Morgan and Tommy Taylor.

Williams, born April 23, 1946 in Phillips County, died July 25, 2004 in Conway. She had worked as a dietician for Crestpark Nursing Home in Helena and was a member of Midway Missionary Baptist Church.
She leaves her husband Elijah Williams of Conway; her mother Dora Williams of Aberdeen, Miss., two sons, Elijah Williams Jr., of Conway and Demorris Andrea Williams of Memphis; two daughters, Tara Goodrick of Conway and Lashaun Nelson of Dallas, Texas and a host of relatives and friends.

Tilghman, born Dec. 6, 1925 in Hardy, Miss., died July 28, 2004 in Helena. He was a farmer, a member of Woodman of the World and a life member of Disabled Veterans.

IRENE ANDERSON
Funeral services for Irene Francisco Anderson, 80, of Helena will be held at noon Saturday, July 31, 2004 at the Church of The Living God. Elder Michael Jenkins will officiate. Burial will be at Magnolia cemetery in Helena.
Visitation will be fro 5 until 7 p.m. Friday at the church.
Anderson died July 25, 2004 at Methodist Hospital in Memphis. She was born in Paston, W. V., April 22, 1924 to the late Warren and Beatrice Brown.
She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and united in marriage with Amos Francisco. Eight children were born to their union.
Two sons, Charles and George Francisco preceded her in death. She later married
James Anderson who also preceded her in death.
She lived and worked as a nurse in Cincinnati, Ohio at the General hospital for 33 years until her retirement. She moved to Millington, Tenn., and two years ago moved to Helena and united with the Church of the Living God where she served until her death.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter-in-law Angela Bethune of Helena; five sons, Hiawatha and Angela of Helena, James, Harold and Thomas Francisco of Cincinnati, Ohio, Phalanza Franciso of Jacksonville, Fla.., a daughter Patricia Francisco of Cincinnati, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services for Arthur Merlon Adams, 67, of Horn Lake, Miss. were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 20 at the chapel of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena. The Rev. Billy Metcalf officiated. Burial was at Sunset Memorial Park in Barton.
Adams, born Nov. 27, 1936 in Booneville, Miss., died June 18, 2004 in Memphis.
He was a truck driver and a member of the Spirit of Life Church.
He leaves his wife Joyce Adams of Horn Lake, Miss., a son Barry Adams of Horn Lake, Miss., six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A son Buddy Adams and his parents Willie Arthur and Lavelle Adams of West Helena preceded him in death.

Drennan, born Dec. 6, 1943 in Lexa, died June 15, 2004 in Little Rock. He was a farmer and a member of the Cypert Church of Christ and past president of the Y-Camp Co-op.
He leaves his wife Betty Jo Drennan of Lexa; a son Dale Drennan of Lexa and a daughter, Donna Ryan of Lexa; three brothers John Drennan of Phoenix, Ariz., Charles Drennan and Robert Drennan of Lexa; four sisters, Ruby Drennan and Patsy Patton of Lexa, Janie Wallace of West Memphis and Paula Suddath of Ponotoc, Miss., his mother, Bobbie Drennan of Lexa; four grandchildren Brandon Wilson of Hazen, Mallory, Cassidy and Natalie Ryan of Lexa and a host of nieces and nephews.

Scaife, born Sept. 18, 1980 to Arthur and Ora Scaife in Elaine, died June 11, 2004 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
She confessed a hope in Christ in September of 1995 at the Christian Stone Baptist Church in Elaine under the leadership of the Rev. Leroy Carter. Later she moved her membership to Pilgrim Guide Baptist Church, where she remained a faithful member until her death. She was a graduate of Elaine High School, attended ASU in Jonesboro and later transferred to PCCUA in Helena. She was a loving and devoted mother. She had a great love for people.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Amiya S. Scaife, Sakiya A. Holmes; a son, Rinalldo A. Holmes; her parents, Arthur and Ora Scaife; three brothers, Dondrick and Jamai Scaife of Memphis, Arthur and Carrie Scaife Jr., of Elaine, Dakendrick Scaife of Iraq; two sisters, Ora L. Scaife and Ebony K. Scaife both of Elaine; a grandmother, Rosie Lee Scaife of Michigan City, Miss., 19 aunts, one special aunt, Addie B.
