Funeral services for Alice Mae Moore, 81, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2004 at the MiracLE Temple, 229 South Coanza in West Helena. Burial will be at Jackson Memorial cemetery in Southland.

Gill, born Nov. 22, 1937 to the late Dan Gill Jr. and Mary Bolden in North Little Rock died April 21, 2004 at 12:10 a.m. at his home in West Helena.
He confessed his calling at the age of 11, in Chicago with the Church of God in Christ. He was a Vietnam Veteran and received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Army. Gill later became the head cook at the University of Arkansas in Pine Bluff. He later joined the First Baptist Church in Humphrey in 1989 where he served as co-pastor. He married
and moved to West Helena where he joined the Greater First Baptist Church and served as Associate Pastor faithfully.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Dan Gill, his mother, Mary Bolden, four brothers, Robert, Dan Jr., Jesse Adoph, and four sisters, Leona Walker, Mattie Paxton, Hazel Brown, and Clemmiestine Gordon.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Luella Gill, three step daughters, Taneka Carter, Larita Simmons, Chekibe Burchett; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, Godparents, Mr. & Mrs. Earl Wilson and adopted sister, JoAnne Wilson.

Funeral services for William Kelly of Helena will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Bolton, Miss. Kelly was born April 22, 1920 and died April 4, 2004 at Crestpark Nursing Home in Helena.
He had made his home in Helena for the past 44 years.

Sullivan, born Nov. 22, 1929 to the late Willie Cravens, died April 4, 2004 at her son's home in Helena.
She accepted Christ at an early age and later joined the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. P.L. Perkins, where she was a faithful member of the Mother's Board.
She was employed by the VA Hospital in Boston, Mass., where she retired after many years and returned to Arkansas and worked for the Helena-West Helena school District until she retired.
She leaves to cherish her memory a son James Higgins of Helena; eight grandchildren Diamond Higgins, Devante Higgins, Devone Higgins, Cherika Higgins all of Helena, Gloria Higgins, James Higgins, III, Geneva Pierson, and Tracey Higgins all of Boston; 19 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews, cousins and friends.

HARRY WRIGHT
Harry Martin Wright, 71, of Palestine died Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at his home in Palestine. His death came sudden and unexpected.
Wright was born May 9, 1932, in Addison, Ala., and was the son of Homer Wright and Mary Hill Wright. He lived in Palestine most of his life, was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of the F.R.A. the Lions Club, and was a former Palestine City Council member and a member of the Goodwin Baptist Church.
Wright married
Betty Sue Bryant in 1953, and she preceded in death in 1971. He married
Virginia Steinbeck in 1972 and she survives him along with three sons; Harold Wright and Bradley Wright, both of Palestine, and Charley Wright of Wellford, S.C.; four daughters, Alma Wright of Palestine, Roxanne Pruitt and Pam Deen both of Marion, and Gloria Hooker of Forrest City; two brothers, Henry Wright and James Wright, both of Jasper, Ala., four sisters, Geraldine Sorrell of Clarksdale, Miss., Betty Faye Jones of West Helena, Alphie Mae Jones of Mellwood and Mary Alice Rose of Wabash, and fourteen grandchildren. He had one son, Floyd Wright, and a brother, Bob Wright, who proceeded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 2004 at the chapel of Stevens Funeral Home in Forrest City. Burial will be in Forrest Park cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.

Frierson, born Jan. 6, 1950, in the Southland Community, died April 7, 2004 at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. He attended Rosenwald School and Eliza Miller High School in West Helena. He lived in Memphis, for 32 years where he worked for Pepper Rite for 25 years. He moved back to the Southland Community with his mother in November of 2001.
