Funeral services for Artic James Baker, 24, of Memphis formerly of West Helena will be held Saturday, April 17, 2004 at the Greater Miracle Temple Church in West Helena.
The Rev. L.T. Mapp will officiate.
Burial will be at the Jackson Memorial Gardens in Lexa.
Baker, born on Aug. 30, 1979 in Helena at the Helena Regional Medical Center to Rev. James Baker and Ms. Eliza Ann Baker, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2004.
He was raised in West Helena where he attended and graduated from Central High School.
He was known for his many talents and was indeed an artist.
He enjoyed drawing and writing poetry.
He loved God and attended various churches.
Later he moved to Memphis.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving mother, Eliza Ann Baker of Memphis; his father, Rev. James Baker of Helena; five brothers, Charlie and Martin Wilson, both of West Helena, Minister Jack Wilson and his wife Barbara of Greenville, Ms., Minister Joe Wilson and his wife Shirley of Cleveland, Ms., and Rev. James Baker, Jr. of Lexington, Ok., five sisters, Diane Wilson and Sadeere Edmond and her husband Kevin of Memphis, Dorothy Wilson, Tonya Thomas and her husband Tyranzio, and Yvonne Baker of West Helena; two uncles, five aunts, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

JASPER WILLIAM
Funeral services for Jasper William Jr., 57, of Lake View will be announced later by Brown's Home for Funerals who will direct services.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Lillie Washington; five daughters, Shirley and Herman Hunter of Barton, Linda and Ralph Collins of Jonesboro, Brenda and Alonzo West of West Helena, Cathy Washington and Shakari Washington of Little Rock; 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, two sisters, Lois and Wilson Burkes of East St. Louis, Mo., Luna Atkins of Milwaukee, Wis., four brothers David and Virginia Washington, Edwards and Geradene Washington, Garfield and Minnie Washington of East St. Louis, Mo., Thomas and Lucille Washington of Washington, D.C., a sister-in-law Mary Washington; an uncle T.J. Rowell of Fort Wayne Ind., special nephew, Thomas Washington II, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

REDMON F. HAWS III
Graveside services for Redmon Franklin Haws III, 30, of Tolar, Texas will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2004 at the Marvell cemetery.
The former Tolar, Texas resident was born Jan. 25, 1965 in Fort Worth, Texas.
He was a 1983 graduate of Tolar High School and a graduate of Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
He was employed by Bank of America in Irvey, Texas as a bank officer with the National Help Line.
His parents R.F. and Joyce Mummel Haws preceded him in death.
He leaves a sister, Sharon Whitefield and husband Robert, niece Jessica, two nephews Dustin and Bobby of Tolar, Texas and his grandparents Alex "Buddy" and Etheline Mummel of Marvell and a host of relatives and friends.
CHARLES SNOWDEN
Charles Vernon Snowden, of Elaine, died Sunday at Helena Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced later by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home.
WILLIAM GOINGS
Funeral services for William "Bill" Goings, 65, of Helena will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 14 at the chapel of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. this evening at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home.
Goings, born Aug. 10, 1938 in Helena, died April 10, 2004 in Little Rock.
He was employed as a wirer for an electric company.
He leaves his wife, Shirley Goings of West Helena; a son Timmy Goings of West Helena; a step-son Billy Stevens of Jackson, Tenn., a step-daughter Debbie Peppers of Barton; a brother Johnny Goings of West Helena, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
His brothers Leonard and Art Goings preceded him in death.
