ARVEL LEE JONES, THE SON OF JOHN CURTIS AND EMMA HILL JONES WAS BORN IN BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA ON APRIL 24, 1913 AND passed away IN SEARCY, ARKANSAS ON MARCH 13, 2004 AT THE AGE OF 90 YEARS. MR. JONES WAS A RETIRED RAILROAD EMPLOYEE AND HAD OPERATED A GAS STATION IN HEBER SPRINGS FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. HE WAS A BAPTIST AND HAD LIVED MOST OF HIS LIFE IN HEBER SPRINGS. HE ENJOYED FISHING. HE WAS PRECEEDED IN DEATH BY HIS PARENTS, HIS WIFE BLANCHE FLODA STARK TAPLEY JONES IN 2000, TWO BROTHERS CECIL JONES AND GURTHER JONES, TWO SONS CURTIS JONES AND LARRY JONES AND A DAUGHTER BETTY WATERS. HE IS SURVIVED BY A SON GLEN DALE JONES OF HEBER SPRINGS, THREE DAUGHTERS ELOISE BITTLE OF HEBER SPRINGS, SUE JONES OF CLINTON AND JANET HAYES OF HEBER SPRINGS. A STEP SON BUDDY TAPLEY OF HEBER SPRINGS AND A STEP DAUGHTER BERNICE CLAYTON OF CLINTON AND A BROTHER MARVIN FLOWERS OF GREENVILLE, TEXAS. HE IS ALSO SURVIVED BY 14 GRANDCHILDREN, 4 STEP GRANDCHILDREN AND A HOST OF GREAT GRANDCHILDREN BESIDES OTHER RELATIVES AND MANY FRIENDS.

James Jarrell Duncan

James Jarrell Duncan, age 79, of Damascus, Arkansas, passed away at his home on Monday, March 15, 2004. Born at Bee Branch, Arkansas, on May 10, 1924, he was the son of the late W. A. and Ellie Mae Duncan. Mr. Duncan had been a resident of Damascus for twenty-five years. He was a retired farmer and employee of J & B Tire Company. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, O. W. Duncan, Robert Duncan, and Quinton Duncan; and by two sisters, Norma Faye Duncan, and Elza Edwards. Survivors include his wife of sixty years, Johnnie Mae Vaughan Duncan of Damascus, AR, four sons, Jerry Duncan and Danny Duncan, both of Damascus, AR, Sammy Duncan of Greenbrier, AR, and Randy Duncan of Conway, AR, two daughters, Linda Bartlett of Heber Springs, AR, and Paulette McCollum of Pangburn, AR, one brother, Junior Duncan of Greers Ferry, AR, two sisters, Ara Waldrop of Covington, Georgia, and Ima Faye Holliman of Quitman, AR, eight grandchildren, Dennis Bartlett, Alan Duncan, Heath Vaughan, Lonnie Duncan, Jeff Duncan, Shelly Gallaway, Kelly Duncan, and Kinsey Duncan nineteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Duncan is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 16, at Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc. in Heber Springs. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 17, at 10:00 A.M. in the Damascus First Baptist Church with Bro. Matt Hudson officiating. Interment will follow in the Blackwell cemetery at Bee Branch. Pallbearers will be Dennis Bartlett, Alan Duncan, Heath Vaughan, Lonnie Duncan, Tyler Duncan, Jeff Duncan, Blake Verser, and Andy Bartlett. Mr. Charley Anderson Adcock

Mr. Charley Anderson Adcock, age 71, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 15, 2004, at the White County Medical Center in Searcy, Arkansas. Born in Rose Bud, Arkansas, on March 20, 1932, he was the son of the late Richard and Dolly May (Cook) Adcock.

Mr. Adcock had been a resident of Heber Springs for the past sixteen years, and he had lived at Judsonia most of his life. He was a retired employee of the Feed Store and Farmers Exchange in Searcy and the box factory in Judsonia. Mr. Adcock was a coin collector and enjoyed playing dominoes. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Mr. Adcock was preceded in death by one brother, Virgil Adcock.

Survivors include

one brother, Le Roy Adcock of Heber Springs, AR,

two sisters, Bessie Ritter of Heber Springs, AR,

and Bertha Thacker of Judsonia, AR,

and his nieces and nephews.

Mr. Adcock is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, March 16, at 12:00 noon at Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 17, at 2:00 P.M. in the South Cross Roads Church with Rev. Ralph E. (Scotty) Robb

Ralph E. (Scotty) Robb, United States Air Force Lt. Col. (Retired), died surrounded by family in his Edgemont, Arkansas home on March 13, 2004.

Scotty was born January 22, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois to Ralph E. Robb, Sr. and Belle (Monsen) Robb. He was preceded in death by both his parents and brother, Don Robb.

He enlisted in the service at 18 and within seven years reached the rank of M/Sgt. at a remarkably young age of 25. He was commissioned a 2nd Lt. out of Officer Candidate School and went on to Pilot Training. Among numerous other planes, he first piloted the C-119. He specialized in the C-130 aircraft, actually starting as a test pilot for the new experimental C-130 in the 1950's. He advanced to Base Maintenance Officer for C-130's at Seward AFB, Tennessee.

He was the Director of Secret Military Missions at Naha AFB, Okinawa; supported the Astronaut Program at Patrick AFB, Florida, flying pontoon equipped C-130's; flew low-level C-130 Gunship missions out of Southeast Asia (several years) during the Viet Nam War, and later served at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska, flying specially equipped ski C-130's designed for ice landings. He had 29 years of honorable military service, earning numerous special awards - the most prominent being the Distinguished Flying Cross, before retiring at Little Rock Air Force Base in 1974.

A second career in real estate, starting in sales at Fairfield Bay led to his becoming a real estate broker in the town of Greers Ferry.

He was active in many community services including the Optimist Club and Special Olympics. His interests included first and foremost his family, woodworking, photography and an intense passion for golf.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sue of Edgemont; three children - sons Michael of Dallas, Texas, Steven and his wife Kay of Lawrenceville, Georgia and daughter Kristin Jones and her husband Ken of Little Rock; five grandchildren ­Jay and Laurie Robb, Josh Fitch, Ryan and Robyn Jones; two great grandsons; his brother John Robb and wife Nancy of Fruita, Colorado; a host of dear cousins; and an extended family of literally hundreds of long-term friends spread world wide.

He was a member of Holiday Hills United Methodist Church in Greers Ferry. A Memorial Service will be held there Thursday, March 18th at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his church or Hospice Care of Cleburne County.

Mr. Bynum Byron Bullard

Mr. Bynum Byron Bullard, age 84, of Drasco, Arkansas, passed away at his home on Monday, March 15, 2004. Born at Shiloh, Arkansas, on August 30, 1919, he was the son of the late Thomas and Mary (Stone) Bullard.

Mr. Bullard had been a lifetime resident of Cleburne County. He was a retired farmer and carpenter, and he was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Bullard’s religious belief was Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents and other family members including Joe Bullard, John Bullard, William Bullard, Stella Bullard, Blanch Birdsong, Elzie Brewer, Sarah Stark, Ida Stark, Lela Stone, Nancy Donaldson, Gladys Huffman, and Baby Bullard.

Survivors include his wife, Mable Irene (Boyer) Bullard of Drasco, Arkansas, one sister, Betty Smith of Malden, Missouri, and his nieces and nephews. Mr. Bullard is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 17, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 18, at 2:00 P.M. at Shiloh Cross Roads Church with Rev. Bill Sutton officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Shiloh Cross Roads cemetery. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc.

Mr. Lester Townsend (Jackie) Pettit

Mr. Lester Townsend (Jackie) Pettit, age 87, passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 16, 2004. Born in Brewer, Arkansas, on March 28, 1916, he was the son of the late Joseph Elbert and Rebecca Louisa (Dollar) Pettit.

Mr. Pettit was a retired furniture and appliance store owner and businessman. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army, and was a Purple Heart recipient. Mr. Pettit had been a resident of Heber Springs most of his life and was a past member of the Lions Club, Heber Springs Planning and Zoning Commission, and Heber Springs City Council. He was an avid fox hunter. Mr. Pettit was a member of the First Assembly of God in Heber Springs and served as a deacon, musician, Sunday School teacher, and a member of the Board of Trustees.

Survivors include his wife, Jewell (Bailey) Pettit of Heber Springs, AR, one son, Roger Pettit and his wife, Marilyn, of Heber Springs, AR, one daughter, Janis Bradley and her husband, Jerry, of Alexandria, Virginia, one half brother, Ray Finch of Greers Ferry, AR, two half sisters, Mary Jennings of Floral, AR, and Hannah Reeves of Grand Junction, Colorado, five grandchildren, Kimberly Burks, Marc Pettit, Kristi Merrick, Karen Partain, and Stephen Pettit, and nine great-grandchildren, Hannah Grace Merrick, William Harrison Merrick, Ashlyn Faith Pettit, Alexandra Burks, Elizabeth Burks, Nathan Burks, Andrew Partain, Alyssa Partain, and Aaron Partain. Mr. Pettit is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 17, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 18, at 2:00 P.M. in the First Assembly of God with Rev. Bob Perry and Rev. Lee Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Cleburne County Memorial Gardens. Jerry Wayne Vinson

Jerry Wayne Vinson the son of Elmer Reuel and Ethel Mae Osburne Vinson was born in Pangburn, Arkansas on July 31, 1944 and passed away at his home in Searcy, Arkansas at the age of 59 years. Jerry was a school bus driver and a Christian. He had lived His life in the Cleburne and White County area. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Billy Joe, and three sisters Bobbie, sue and Peggy. He is survived by a son David w. Vinson of Drasco. Three Brothers Jim Vinson and Danny Vinson both of Pangburn and Eddie Vinson of Mt. View. A granddaughter Ashley Bellnap of Mt. Home, Arkansas. He is also survived by other relatives And many friends.

Visitation will be Saturday march 20, 2004 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm At Olmstead Funeral Home and Memorial Services will be Sunday march 21, 2004 at 2:00 pm in the Olmstead Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Kenneth Rolland Jr. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc.

Evelyn Gentry

Evelyn Gentry, age 88, of Greers Ferry, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at Indian Rock Village in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas. Born in Arkansas on May 8, 1915, she was the daughter of the late John and Emma Hooten. Mrs. Gentry was a homemaker and lifetime resident of Arkansas. She was a Christian. Her husband, Claude Gentry, preceded her in death in 1984. Survivors include one sister, Lois Hunt of Greers Ferry, AR, and her nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gentry is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.

Graveside services for Mrs. Gentry will be held Thursday, March 25, at 10:00 A.M. in the Settlement cemetery. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc., 601 W. Main, Heber Springs, AR 72543.

Dorothy Jane Young

Dorothy Jane Young, age 69, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away at her home on Monday, March 22, 2004. Born in Saratoga, New York, on December 26, 1934, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Puzon) Divnich.

Mrs. Young was a homemaker and mother. She was a former resident of Waltham, Massachusetts, and had lived in Heber Springs since 1981. Mrs. Young was a member of St. Albert’s Catholic Church in Heber Springs.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Young of Heber Springs, AR, two daughters, Roberta Martin and her husband, Robert, of Billerica, Massachusetts, and Terri Young of Heber Springs, AR, one sister, Irene Heald of Hopeville, Connecticut, and two grandsons, Justin Young and Michael Young. Mrs. Young is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.

A vigil will be held Thursday, March 25, at 7:00 P.M. in the Olmstead Chapel with Fr. Vincent Udo Ogbuji officiating. Funeral mass will be held Friday, March 26, at 9:00 A.M. in St. Albert’s Catholic Church with Fr. Vincent Udo Ogbuji officiating. Interment will follow in the Egner cemetery at Salado, Arkansas. Mrs. May Frances Allen

Mrs. May Frances Allen, age 67, of Higden, Arkansas, passed away at her home on Monday, March 22, 2004. Born in Higden, Arkansas, on May 31, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mattie (Tackett) Sweeney. She married her husband, Carl Allen, on June 23, 1951, and they celebrated 52 years of marriage. Mrs. Allen was formerly of Flint, Michigan. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, crocheting, and rummage sales. She is survived by her husband, Carl Allen of Higden, Arkansas, three sons, Charlie Allen and his wife, Bonnie, Carl Wayne Allen and his wife, Mary, and Fredric Michael Allen and Laura, all of Flint, Michigan, one daughter, Carla Fay Pelky and her husband, Tim, of Swartz Creek, Michigan, two sisters, Catherine Chalk of Rose Bud, Arkansas, and Wincie Hollowell of Texas nine grandchildren, Paula, Tracy, Kyle, Scott, Tim, Jeff, Jason, Jeremy, and Alicia, and eleven great-grandchildren, Tyler, Andrew, Alexis, Travis, Ariel May, Abbigail, Jeremy, Skyy, Sunshine, Alexis, and Marcus. She was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Allen, and by one brother, Miles B. Sweeney. Mrs. Allen is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.

Allie Wayne Wright

Allie Wayne Wright, age 87, passed away at Southridge Nursing Center on Tuesday, March 23, 2004. Born in Stuttgart, Arkansas on March 19, 1916, she was the daughter of the late German and Eva (Cooper) Brummitt. Mrs. Wright was a homemaker and a loving wife and mother. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church at Greers Ferry, Arkansas as well as a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Mrs. Wright is survived by: two sons John W. Wright and his wife Gloria of Little Rock, Arkansas and Joe Wright and his wife Jeanette of Greers Ferry, Arkansas and two grandchildren Laura Wright and J. Wright.Mrs. Wright is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Services for Mrs. Wright will be held Thursday, March 25, 2004 in the First Presbyterian Church in Greers Ferry, Arkansas at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Woodland Memorial Park in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas. Arrangements are by: Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc.

Lloyd Godfrey Knighten Jr.

Lloyd Godfrey Knighten Jr. was born in Clarks, Louisiana on December 16, 1936 and passed away on March 25, 2004 at the age of 67 years. Mr. Knighten was a resident of Greers Ferry for the past 8 years. He was a the past water superintendent of the City of Parkin and had been a truck driver for National Brokers of West Memphis, Arkansas. He presently is the owner operator of Family Market in Greers Ferry. He was a past president of the Parkin Lions Club and past member of the Naval Reserve. He enjoyed working outside and fishing. He is survived by his wife Evelyn Gaines Knighten, two sons Robert Dale Knighten and wife Sherry and Mitchell Knighten and wife Mildred both of Greers Ferry. One sister Katie Bryan of Youngsville, Louisiana. He is also survived by five grand children John, Ashley, Brian, Coleen and Tiffany.

Visitation will be Friday March 26, 2004 at Olmstead Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held Saturday March 27, 2004 at 11 :00 A.M. in the West Side Baptist Church with interment services at Crittenden Memorial Park in West Memphis, Arkansas at 3:30 P.M. by Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc. of Heber Springs, Arkansas.

Marvin L. Smith
June 11, 1927 - March 26, 2004

Marvin is survived by his loving wife, Georgia, his Sons, Dennis (Jeri) smith, Rudy (Michelle) Smith, Grandchildren, Daniel (Lynn) Smith, and Philip Smith, Jillian (Matt) Kosiara, Bailey, Chelsi, and Ashlee Smith. Great grandchildren, Vanessa and Amanda Smith, Tatum and Carter Kosiara, step-children, Pam (Mike) Carroll, Tom Taylor, Beth (Max) Elrod, Cheryl (Jerry) Neal, Barbara (Bill) Farrar, also 12 Step grandchildren, dearest aunt Max, brother-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Christine, parents Carl and Josephine Smith and brother Donald, Marvin Was a Navy Veteran of WWII and Korean war. He retired From International Harvester (Navistar) in Rock Falls, IL, and Chicago, IL. In Rock Falls, IL. He was Kiwanis President, Little League President, and founding Member of the Rock Falls Presbyterian Church. In Calumet City, IL., he was the Sunday School Superintendent and Clerk of Session at the Community Presbyterian Church. He retired to Fairfield Bay, AR where he was president of The Lions Club, treasurer of Wear and Share, treasurer and board member of the I.R.V. Auxiliary, member of the Ozark Health Hospital Aux, (Clinton, AR). He was active in Outreach of the Hills and Clerk of Session at Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church. He was a friend to all and enjoyed doing community service.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 28, 2004 at Olmstead Funeral Home, Fairfield Bay, AR from 5-7 p.m. A celebration of Marvin's life will be held Monday, March 29, 2004, at 10:30 a.m at Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church, Fairfield Bay, AR with Rev. Robert Hadley officiating. Entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Calumet City, IL on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at 1:00 p.m with Rev. Ensign Leininger officiating. SHIRLEY ANN SOUTH, DAUGHTER OF THE LATE MELVIN AND VICTORIA (WILSON) KNIGHT, passed away SATURDAY, MARCH 27, 2004 AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS MEDICAL CENTER IN LITTLE ROCK, AR.

BORN NOVEMBER 24, 1943 IN LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, SHE WAS 60 YEARS OF AGE.

BESIDES HER PARENTS, SHE WAS preceded in death BY HER HUSBAND FLOID SOUTH ON JANUARY 3, 2004.

HER RELIGIOUS BELIEF WAS NON-DENOMINATIONAL.

SHE IS SURVIVED BY A STEP-SON, CHRIS SOUTH AND HIS WIFE JO ANNA OF IDA, ARKANSAS,

Doyle Marvin McGuire

Doyle Marvin McGuire, son of the late John McGarvey and Hazel (Hook) McGuire, passed away Monday, March 29, 2004 at White County Medical Center, Searcy, Arkansas. Born November 26, 1923 at Hopkins, Missouri, Doyle was 80 years of age. Doyle had lived the past 3 years at Searcy, Arkansas. prior to that he lived in Rose Bud, Arkansas, where he was a farmer and owner of Hopewell Texaco and Grocery Store. he was a member of Rose Bud Church of Christ, a veteran of the United States Navy, and he loved horses and cows. Survivors are his wife Lena Mae (Forbus) McGuire, daughters, Marva Lou Webb, of Burns Flat, Oklahoma, Barbara Bomar, of Rose Bud, Arkansas, Nancy McGuire Moye of Maumelle, Arkansas. Vickie McGuire Bashaw of Springdale, Arkansas. Doylette McGuire, of Hopewell, Arkansas., step daughter, Nelda English, of Rose Bud, Arkansas. brothers, John Curtis McGuire of Gelette, Wyoming, and Stanley Troy McGuire of Seattle, Washington. A sister, Audrey McGuire Vaughan of Arizona, 6 grandchildren, Donald Webb, Michael Bomar, Ryan Bomar, Alan Bomar, Alex Henry and Dax Henry, 2 step grandchildren, Misty Ladd and Jeremy English, 4 great grandchildren, 1 step great grandchild, other relatives, and many friends.

Services were Friday, April 2, 2004, at Olmstead Chapel, Heber Springs, at 10:00 a.m. with Dr. Jim Citty officiating. Interment followed at Oak Grove cemetery, Searcy, Arkansas. Serving as pallbearers were, Michael Bomar, Ryan Bomar, Alan Bomar, Phillip Ladd, Mark Mergenschroer, and Jimmy Crockett. Honorary pallbearers were, Everett Six, Charles Van Winkle, Joel Bisbee, George Tipps, and Harold Bomar. Arrangements were by Olmstead Funeral Home, Heber Springs, Arkansas.

Enick Raymond Johnson

Enick Raymond Johnson, 73, born August 10, 1930, entered his heavenly home March 28, 2004. preceded in death, was his sweet wife of fifty years and 15 days, Ella Jean Dill Johnson. He is survived by three loving children, three adopted children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren: daughter, Doris Jean Hudson (Jack), son, Raymond Dale Johnson (Gail), and Daughter, Anita Darlene Johnson, 'special sons', David Sublett and Lynn Simpson, and 'special' daughter, Kathy Jean Barber, grandchildren, Tennille Cook (Pete), Kevin and Kim Hudson and Karley Rachel Stoll, great - grandchildren, Gabrielle Clark and Lindsey Cook. A new member of Fellowship Baptist Church and a former long-time member of 47Th Street Baptist Church, he leaves behind many friends in both places of worship. A loving, Christian father and husband, he was the rock in many lives and will be missed by all. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 3, 2004, at Olmstead Funeral Home of Heber Springs, Arkansas. Bro Jim Oliver officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Union cemeteryy, Ida, Arkansas. Elmer Gene Higgs

Elmer Gene Higgs, born July 3, 1939 at Wilburn, Arkansas. passed away Friday, April 2, 2004, at Vilonia, Arkansas. He was 64 years of age. He was preceded in death by his father, Herb Higgs. He was a retired Cleburne County employee, and he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by his mother, Linnie Higgs of Wilburn, Arkansas, his daughter, Doris Spradlin and husband, Paul, of Vilonia, Arkansas, sons, Roger and Ronnie Higgs, both of Quitman, Arkansas, and J.R. Higgs and his wife, Jennifer of Pangburn, Arkansas. 2 sisters, Evalean Woodam of Heber Springs and Erma Dean Beatty and her husband, Ellis of Wilburn, Arkansas, 7 grandchildren, Amber spradlin, tabatha higgs, justin higgs, jason higgs, Felischa Higgs, Cody Higgs, and Breana Higgs. 1 great Grandchild, Aiden Higgs, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation was Saturday, April 3, 2004, 6-8 p.m. Funeral services were held Sunday, April 4, 2004, at 2;00 p.m. at Olmstead Chapel with Pastor Odell Altom officiating. Interment followed at Magness Chapel cemetery with Claude Dill, Robert Dill, Danny Rackley, Kenneth Rackley, P.J. Dill and Randell Woodam serving as pallbearers. Raymond Rains

Raymond Rains age 84 years, the oldest living native of Pangburn, Arkansas passed away at his home on Friday, April 2, 2004. Born May 14, 1919 at Pangburn, Arkansas, the son of the late James Rains and May Reed Rains. He was a Methodist by faith and a retired carpenter. Raymond enjoyed photography and writing. He is survived by his wife Violet Smith Rains and his children, son Dan Rains and a daughter Barbara Rains Doyle of Pangburn, Arkansas. He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great grandchildren, as well as other relatives and many friends.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at the Henderson cemetery in Pangburn, Arkansas on Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at 10:00 am.

Christenia Elizabeth Smartt

Christenia Elizabeth Smartt of Prim, Arkansas passed away on April 3rd 2004 at the White County Medical Center in Searcy, Arkansas. Born on April 24th, 1941, Miss Smartt was 62 Years of age. She was preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Mary Ann (Osburn) Smartt, her brother William Smartt and two sisters Mary Alice McGahan and Brenda Kay Smartt. Miss Smartt was of the Pentecostal Faith.

She is survived by three brothers Samuel Smartt of Little Rock, Arkansas, Ben Smartt of Marche, Arkansas and Calvin Smartt of North Little Rock, Arkansas and one sister Gracie Jayne of Heber Springs, Arkansas. Miss Smartt is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 6th 2004 at the Parma Full Gospel Church at 2:00 pm with Rev. Kendall Dodson officiating. Burial will be in the Smartt cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, April 5, 2004 at Olmstead Funeral Home.
