Ernestine Draper
Mrs. Ernestin Suttles Draper, 85, of Prescott, died Saturday, August 6, 2005, in Medical Park Hospital in Hope.
She was born on January 6, 1920, in Ozan to Jodie and Ida Clemons Suttles. She was a retired school teacher having taught school in eastern Arkansas. She received her BSE from Philander Smith College and had 18 hours of graduate work from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. She was a member of Cothran Chapel CME Church in Prescott; Stewardess Board and Missionary Society member; Eastern member of Tyronza Queen Chapter 198, Earle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cy E. Draper, who died September 2000.
Her survivors include two sisters, Ona Bell Suttles and Jodie Lee Compton, both of St. Louis, Missouri; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2005, at Cothran Chapel CME Church in Prescott, with Rev. Annie Hubbard, Rev. Monteal Rhynes, and Rev. Rufus McCall officiating. Burial was at DeAnn cemetery in Prescott. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
James Huskey
James I. "Buck" Huskey, 81, of Prescott, died March 29, 2002 at Medical Park Hospital in Hope.
He was born June 20, 1920, in Blevins, to Jim and Alice Yarberry Huskey.
He was a retired millwright and farmer/gardener. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Prescott.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lera Mae McCants Huskey, and by his second wife, Nell Jobe Huskey, and by several brothers and sisters.
His survivors include: two sons, Donald Huskey of Texarkana, and Randy Huskey of Boyton Beach, Fla.; three daughters, Jimmie Cornelius of Prescott, Brenda Renfro Thornton of Wilmington, NC and Mary Elizabeth Freeman of Texarkana; one stepson, Hoyt Jobe of Prescott; two sisters, Florene Osborn of Prescott and Marie McMasters of Okolona; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were 10 a.m., Monday, April 1, 2002, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott, with the Rev. Neal Ridling and Rev. Chad Brandon officiating.
Burial followed in DeAnn cemetery in Prescott under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
Family received friends Sunday, March 31, 2002, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mary Morehead
Mary Catherine Clark Morehead, 87, of Bodcaw, died Monday, April 8, 2002, at a Texarkana Hospital.
She was born April 24, 1914, at Falcon.
Morehead was the daughter of the late Rufus and Ellie Ward Clark.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Bruce Morehead, one son Denver Morehead, one grandson, Larry Morehead and one brother, Jeff Clark.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, William and Imogene Morehead of Mount Enterprise, Texas, Charles Ray and Reva Morehead, Gary Don and Eva Jean Morehead all of Bodcaw; one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Gail and Terry Hanson of Waldo; 11 grandchildren, Kathy Marie Cox of Bodcaw, Perry Grant Morehead of Nacogdoches, Texas, Laurie Ann Oliver of Hope, Kevin Ray Morehead of Stamps, Paul Anthony Morehead of Marshall, Texas, Sandy Christine Russell of Bodcaw, Cheryl Dawn Atkinson of Conway, Ernie Bruce Hanson and Andy Brian Hanson of Waldo, Dwayne Morehead of Bodcaw, and Robin Kimberly Hanson of Waldo; 15 great-grandchildren; two great- great-grandchildren; five sisters, Ruthie McKamie of Bodcaw, Earlene Copeland of Paragould, Ruby Herrington and Retha Hart of Texarkana, Charlene Beck of Arlington, two brothers, Herbert Clark of Texarkana, Kenneth Clark of Leander, Texas, and one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Carroll and Hera Morehead of Prescott, also one stepbrother and two stepsisters.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps with the Rev. Joe Miller, Rev. Charles Walthall and Rev. Paul Lyons officiating and burial in the Shiloh Methodist cemetery between Bodcaw and Falcon under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
Visitation was from 6-9 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps. Family were at the home of Gary and Eva Jean Morehead at Bodcaw.
N.B. Coleman
N.B. (Benny) Coleman, 81, of Hope, died April 8, in Hope.
He was a retired vice-president for the Hempstead and Nevada Counties Farm Credit offices for 30 years before retiring.
He was born December 12, 1920, in Howard County, was instrumental in organizing and developing the Hempstead County Farm Bureau, Hempstead County Cattlemen's Association, and the Hempstead County Farmers Association, served as secretary-treasurer of the Guernsey Volunteer Fire Department for 11 years. He was a member of the Hope Rotary Club and was a recipient of the Paul Harris award. He was a WWII Veteran and University of Arkansas graduate. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hope for over 50 years.
He was the son of Joe A. and Amanda McInturff Coleman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include: his wife, Lucy Coleman; one son, Kenneth and wife, Marlyn of Reno, Nev.; three daughters, Kathryn and husband, Denny Dickinson of Hope, Kay and husband, Mike Caldwell of Hope, Karlene Hooker of Mena; two brothers, Bob Coleman of Nashville, Virgil Coleman of Texarkana; seven grandchildren, Casey Harden of Little Rock, Korie Caldwell of Conway, Mandy Beck Fulmer of Baton Rouge, La., Rusty Beck of Little Rock, Brent Hooker of Mena, Deedra Hooker of Mena, Jan McKinnon of Hope; two great-grandchildren, Bradley and Jordan McKinnon of Hope and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at First Baptist Church of Hope, Thursday, April 11, at 2 p.m. Burial was in Memory Gardens cemetery with Rev. Wade Hood and Rev. Earl Cumbie officiating under the direction of Herndon Funeral Home.
Visitation was Wednesday, April 10, from 5-8 p.m. at Herndon Funeral Home.

Ollie Moore
Ollie M. Phillips Moore, 88, of Odessa, Texas (formerly of Prescott), died Saturday, April 6, in Odessa Medical Center Hospital.
She was born in Bellmore (now Melrose) on July 19, 1913, to Ed and Martha Boston Phillips.
She was a homemaker and a member of Park Missionary Baptist Church of Prescott.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Moore.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Lela Hardy and John of Odessa, Texas; two grandchildren, Jami Martinez of Odessa, Texas and Preston Hardwick of Godley, Texas; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 10, at Blue Mountain cemetery, Stone County, Mountain View. Burial followed under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
Donald Ingersoll
Donald Wayne Ingersoll, 59, died Sunday, April 7, at his home in Prescott.
Ingersoll was born September 19, 1942, in Boughton, to Earl and Eunice Mae Pruitt Ingersoll.
He was a retired air conditioner installer and repairman, was a dedicated and active member of the Boughton Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Arkansas Southern Baptist Disaster Relief, served his country in the United States Air Force, was a dedicated volunteer at the Hillcrest Nursing Home and was a member of the Farmers Market Cooperation.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cherishing his memory are: his loving wife, Patricia Ingersoll of Prescott; his four daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Nick St. Clair of Prescott, Darenda and Terry Langley of Camden, JoAnn and Bobby Martin, Becky and Richard Stivers all of Murfreesboro; his son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Rea Cogburn of Nashville, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Freda Ingersoll and Terrell and Olgia Ingersoll all of Hope; 13 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Jo Couch of Nathan; and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Pat Couch of Nathan.
Services were Wednesday, April 10, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Shackelford Funeral Home with Bros. Billy Joe Christopher and Neal Ridling officiating.
Intermet was in the Piney Grove cemetery in Boughton.
Visitation was Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family has entrusted these services to the Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott and requests that donations be made to either the Boughton Baptist Church Building Fund or Arkansas Southern Baptist Disaster Relief.
Cameron Wilson
Mr. Cameron Paul Wilson, 16, of Prescott, died Monday, June 27, 2005, in Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock as a result of an automobile accident.
He was born on November 22, 1988, in Hope to Tommy and Kimberly Shea Leonard Wilson. He was a student at Prescott High School and a Curley Wolf. He was a member at Park Missionary Baptist Church in Prescott. He loved his Curley Wolves, his school, his dog, his mule and wagon team.
His survivors include his father and stepmother, Tommy Wilson and Sharon Purtzer of Hope; his mother, Kim Wilson of Prescott; one sister, Danielle Wilson of Prescott; one stepbrother, Ty Purtzer of Hope; paternal grandparents, Gaylon and Lois Wilson of McCaskill; paternal grandmother, Nancy Booker of Hope; maternal grandmother, Bonnie Leonard of Spring Hill; paternal great-grandfather, Frank Wilson of Prescott; one uncle, Danny Wilson of Prescott; four aunts, Tammy Brown of Batesville, Tisha Chism and Heather Leonard both of Spring Hill, and Brittney Leonard of Prescott; one special friend, Shey Helmick of Emmet and several cousins.
Funeral services were 10 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2005, at Central Baptist Church in Prescott with Rev. Neal Ridling and Rev. Alan Brown officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill cemetery in Prescott. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

Agatha Coward
Agatha "Aggie" Cowart, of Ashdown, 72, died April 7, in Texarkana.
She was born in Nevada County, December 3, 1929
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dawn Cowart.
Survivors include: her husband, Lindon Cowart of Ashdown; her mother, Anna Hooks of Ashdown; one daughter, Gaywn Golden of DeQueen; one brother, Billy Gene Hooks of Prescott; Diane Blankenship of Ashdown; two grandchildren, Gigi and Grant Golden; two special friends, Rev. Jerry and Alberta Capps, and Diana Starks.
Services were held April 9, at 1 p.m. at Madden Funeral Home Chapel in Ashdown.
Interment was in Piney Grove cemetery in Prescott with Rev. Jerry Capps officiating.
Annie Mackey
Annie Pauline Mackey, 71, of Stamps, passed away April 9, in a Texarkana hospital.
She was born, July 20, 1930, in Nathan to Albert and Sylvia Sells Hawley.
She was a homemaker, a member of the 1st United Methodist Church of Stamps, and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Stamps.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Meritt.
Survivors include: her husband, Albert Mackey of Stamps; two sons, Mike Thurston of Shelbyville, Indiana and Bob Thurston of Brownsville, Indiana; one daughter, Rachel Parrish of Monroe; one brother, Grover Hawley of Magnolia; two sisters, Ruth Oliver of Lewisville and Nellie Hillery of Prescott; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held, Friday, April 12, at 2 p.m. in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carl Palmey and Rev. Charles Walthall officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Ridge cemetery near Prescott.
Visitation was Thursday, April 11, from 6-8 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home of Stamps.
Services are under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home of Stamps.
