Jennifer Foster
Jennifer Mae (Pruitt) Foster, 26, of Rosston, died Tuesday, February 28, 2006.
Jennifer was a homemaker and a member of Boughton Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Foster of Rosston; two son, John S. Stinson and Jerry Ray Foster; and daughter, Mandi Kay Trickel, all of the home; her father and stepmother, Johnny and Susie Pruitt of Murfreesboro; mother and stepfather, GeGe and Delbert Applegate of Prescott; stepbrother, Bryan Applegate of Nashville; sisters, Amanda Wheeler and Tiffany Purtle both of Prescott; stepsister, Dusty Applegate of Prescott; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hendrix and Mrs. and Mrs. Ray Pruitt; great-grandmother Hazel Hendrix; and a host of other relatives.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Friday at the Shackelford Funeral Chapel with interment in Piney Grove cemetery by Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott.

David Bailey
David 'Hub' Bailey, 55, of Willisville, died February 28, 2006, at his home.
He was born April 4, 1950 in Prescott to James Ivie and Zelma Ward Bailey.
He was a member of Whites Chapel Baptist Church at Rosston, and employed as a truck driver for Alcoa in Magnolia. He was an avid outdoorsman and his hobbies included fishing and hunting. David was a talented handyman, but his greatest talent was being a devoted husband, father and friend.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Lisa Bonner Bailey; two daughters, Brittany Bailey and Brooke Bailey all of Willisville; mother-in-law, Elaine Bonner of Shreveport, La.; sister-in-law, Tamara Bonner of Houston, Texas, Shawn Thomas and David of Shreveport, and Christi Allbritton of Bossier, La.; one nephew, Tyler Thomas and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. He is also survived by a sister.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ivie and Zelma Bailey and a brother, Mack Bailey.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2006, in Bailey Chapel at Magnolia, with Bro. Jerry Evans officiating. Burial was in Willisville cemetery arranged by Bailey Funeral Home in Magnolia.
Visitation was Thursday, March 2, 2006, from 6-8 p.m. at Bailey Funeral Home in Magnolia.
Memorials may be made to the Children’s Art Project at M.D. Anderson in Houston, Texas.

Rev. Frankie Burke
Rev. Frankie Joe Burke, 67, of Hope, died Monday, February 27, 2006, at his home.
He was born on November 23, 1938, in Hempstead County, to William U. 'Bill' an Nola E. Robinson Burke. He was a Baptist Minister. He graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, with BA and his Masters Degrees. He was a member of Bodcaw Baptist Church and an Air Force veteran.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl Wayne and Jim Burke and by one sister, Mattie Lou Hart.
His survivors include his wife of 46 years, Patty Maxwell Burke of Hope; one son, Rev. Don Burke and Pam of Potosi, Mo.; two daughters, Denise Jackson of Livingston, Texas, and Jan Whatley and Stan of Hope; one brother, Billy J. Burke and Shirley of Hope; one sister, Alice Garrett and Charles of Texarkana, Ark.; seven grandchildren, Mark Burke of Russellville, Becca Burke of Potosi, Mo., Jessica Jackson and Erica Jackson both of Livingston, Texas, Samuel Jackson of Magnolia, Ben Whatley and Steven of Whatley, both of Hope.
Funeral services were 10 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2006, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel in Hope, with Rev. Jerry Evans and Rev. Jim Sayers officiating. Burial followed in Union Grove cemetery in Blevins.
Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.
Family received friends Wednesday, March 1, 2006, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.
Memorials may be made to Serenity Hospice, 1305 Arkansas Blvd., Texarkana, Ark. 71854.

David Hill
David Leroy Hill, 58, of Delight, died Thursday, March 2, 2006.
He was born on November 14, 1947, in Delight, the son of Carl Leroy Hill and Joy Virginia Bailey Hill. He was married to Paula Tate.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Danny Hill.
David was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Paula Hill of Delight; one son, David 'Jake' Hill, Jr. of Delight; one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Johnny Mauldin of Prescott; two grandchildren; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Dale and Patsy Hill of Prescott, Donnin and Tina Hill of Prescott, Darrell and Shirley Hill of Statesville, N.C., Dennis and Micki Hill of Delight, Dewey and Joanna Hill of Delight; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dawn and Terry Don McKinnon of Prescott and Dedra and Luke Pittman of Delight; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 7, 2006, in the Crossroads Assembly of God Church near Delight, with Bros. Bernard Escalante and Danny Eckert officiating.
Visitation was Monday evening in the family’s home at 7 Joy Lane, Delight.
Interment was at Delight cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
Pallbearers were Ray Bailey, Terry Don McKinnon, Mark Bell, Bell Leeper, Jerry Furlow and James Snowden.
Honorary pallbearers were Leotis Snowden and Jerry Hightower, Sr.

Ann Brzeski
Mildred Ann Brzeski, 59, of Prescott, died Friday, March 3, 2006.
She was a dietary manager for the Nevada County Hospital and attended Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include: sons, Jerry Brzeski and wife Diana and Dean Brzeski and wife Brandy, all of Prescott; daughter, Diane Lacefield and husband Ricky of Queen City, Texas; brothers, Cecil Rhodes of Wellington, Texas, Charlie Rhodes of Texarkana, Grady Rhodes of Eulis, Texas, Jimmy Rhodes and Arthur Rhodes both of Prescott and Dale Rhodes of Sallisaw, Okla.; five grandchildren, Brad Lacefield, Chaz Brzeski, Cassidy Brzeski, Alexia Brzeski and Kurt Love; and one great-grandchild, Coby Lacefield.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2006, at the Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Neil Ridling officiating. Burial in Sweet Home cemetery by Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott.

Alleen Daniels
Mrs. Alleene T. Daniels, 91, of Texarkana, formerly of Prescott, died Monday, March 13, 2006, at Christus St. Michael Hospital, Texarkana, Texas.
She was born on November 27, 1914, in Prescott to Byrd and Goldie Herron Tippitt. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for more than 20 years and worked in both Prescott Hospitals. She was a member of the Prescott Church of Christ, which she and her husband attended regularly when they lived in Prescott. She loved gardening, cooking, and loved her Arkansas Razorbacks. She loved her family and the get togethers they had. She also had a love for pretty things whether clothes or furniture.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Delmer Daniels; and two brothers, Leonard and Lester Tippitt.
Her survivors include: one daughter, Biddie Martin and Troy of Texarkana; one sister, Helen Morris of Walla Walla, Wash.; three grandchildren, Becky Davis and Don, Gerry Martin and Angie, and Kyle Martin, all of Texarkana.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at DeAnn cemetery in Prescott, with Tony Hamilton. Burial followed. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
Family received friends Wednesday, March 15, 2006, prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

Jo Parker
Mrs. Elizabeth Jo Parker, 79, of West Memphis, formerly of Prescott, died Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at Methodist Central Hospital, Memphis, Tenn.
She was born on December 27, 1926, in Prescott, to Ed and Annie Black Dickerson. She was retired from Style America Cotton Company. She was a Presbyterian. She loved to sew and crochet.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bobby Jean Parker, who died in 1977; and also by eight brothers and sisters.
Her survivors include: one daughter, Beth Boone and Cliff of Marion and one grandson, Justin Boone of Marion.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2006, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

Ruth Newth
Mrs. Ruth E. Holder Newth, 83, of Prescott, died Thursday, March 16, 2006, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope.
She was born on May 17, 1922, in Prescott, to L.A. and Emma Catherine Crank Holder. She was retired from Firestone and former cafeteria worker. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Prescott.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charlie Newth, who died in 1967; one brother, Jack Holder; three sisters, Ohal Hendrix, Gladys Andrews, and Helen Buie.
Her survivors include: three sisters, Lillian Crane of Hope, Faye House and Leonard and Louise Crayne all of Prescott; one sister-in-law, Pat Holder of Emmet; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2006, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott, with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating. Burial was in DeAnn cemetery in Prescott. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
Family received friends Saturday, March 18, 2006, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

Larry Crane
Mr. William Larry Crane, Sr., 58, of Spring Hill, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope.
He was born on October 18, 1947, to William Odus and Lillian Holder Crane. He was a former truck driver for the Paul Ray Trucking Company. He was a Baptist and an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Odus Crane.
His survivors include: his wife of 39 years, Linda Russell Crane of Spring Hill; two sons, William Larry 'Bill' Crane, Jr. and Kristel, and Justin Crane and Jamie, all of Hope; one daughter, Angie Crane Putman and Chad of Springhill; his mother, Lillian Crane of Hope; his step-mother, Bessie Crane Allen of Hope; one brother, Billy Joe Hoover of Houston, Texas; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 13, 2006, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel in Hope, with Rev. Neal Ridling and Rev. Glen Shults officiating. Burial was in Anderson cemetery in Spring Hill. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.
Family received friends Wednesday, April 12, 2006, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.

Leonard Black
Mr. Leonard J. Black, 75, of Willisville, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.
Mr. Black was born April 12, 1932, in Chickasha, Okla., to the late John Willie and Ruby Fay (Leonard) Black. He was a 32-year resident of Willisville. He was employed with Lovington, New Mexico Public Schools for 15 years, and was later associated with Warmack Limited Partnership. Mr. Black received a Bachelor’s degree from Southwestern Oklahoma University and received a Master’s degree from Eastern New Mexico University. He served as a member of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Lions Club International and was named Lovington Lion of the year in 1972 and 1973. He was also elected to the Willisville City Council, and served as a board member of both the Nevada County Hospital, and the Southeastern Arkansas Symphony.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Faye Warmack Black of Willisville; daughters, Sally Malone of Pocahontas; brother, Merlin Black and sister-in-law Elaine Black of Hutchinson, Minn.; granddaughter, Rachel Anne Malone of Jackson, Miss.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Saturday, March 18, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Westmoreland officiating. Burial was at Willisville cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home of Magnolia.
Family visitation was Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Willisville Methodist Church.
