Lois Duke
Lois Gunter Duke, 89, of Prescott, died Tuesday, November 29, 2005.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two sons, James Wiley Duke and wife, Judy and William Roy Duke and wife, Lorie; one brother, Houston Gunter of Hope; five grandchildren, Tim and Lori Arnette, Brent and Cara Duke, Heath and Nikki Duke, and Labin Duke and Katherine Wilson; three great-grandchildren, Shelby Arnette, Jack Arnette, Lydia Kay Duke, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Thursday, December 1, 2005, at First Baptist Church. Interment was at DeAnn cemetery under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home.

Linda Jo Arnold
Linda Jo Arnold, 41, of Curtis died Sunday, March 10, 1996, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born January 24, 1955.
She was manager of Pioneer Abstract and a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Joe Arnold, Jr.; a son, Ryan Lee Arnold of Curtis; her parents, Neal and Mildred Southerland Welch of Arkadelphia; and a sister, Suzanne Welch Hardage of Memphis, Tenn.
Graveside services were Tuesday, March 12, 1996, at Rose Hill cemetery with Rev. Gary Turner and Rev. Michael Mattox officiating. Interment was under the direction of Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home of Arkadelphia. Memorials may be made to Clark County Fair Association c/o Karen Kirkpatrick, Rt. 1, Arkadelphia, AR 71923.

Woodrow Daniels
Woodrow Wilson Daniels, 78, of Gurdon died Thursday, March 7, 1996, at his residence.
He was born May 18, 1917, in Beirne, the son of Grover C. and Vedia Crab Daniels. He was retired from Gurdon Lumber Co. He was a U.S. Army veteren of World War II and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Gurdon.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine Carter Daniels; a son, Burt Daniels of Gurdon; a daughter, Betty Thomas of Gurdon; a brother, Don Daniels of Arkadelphia; a sister, Georgia Golden of Arkadelphia; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, March 9, at Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eugene Hughes and Rev. Dave Montgomery officiating. Interment was at Carter cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Gurdon First Presbyterian Church.

Johnny Halbrook
Johnny Halbrook, 69, of Prescott, died Friday, Nov. 4.
He was a paint contractor and served in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Halbrook of Prescott; one son, Johnny Halbrook, Jr. of Lake Charles, La.; one daughter, Rita Reyenga of Prescott; one brother, Edwin Halbrook of Beaumont, Texas; two sisters, Elizabeth Reed of Fairfax, Va., and Judi Kokenes of Arlington, Va.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Buck.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, 2005, at Park Baptist Church with the Rev. Neil Ridling and the Rev. Raymond Davis officiating. Burial was in Deann cemetery under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott.

Rosa Martin
Rosa Martin, 82, of Cale died Friday, August 23, 1996, in Village.
Born November 24, 1913, in Rush Springs, Okla., she was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include six sons, Bob Martin of Bogota, Texas, Lee Junior Martin of Rosston, Dale Martin and Richard Martin of Cale, Billy Martin of Rogers and John Martin of Prescott; six daughters, Nan Hicks of Rosston, Marie Hicks of Falcon, Mary Roberson of Cale, Rosie Ducote of Hope, Vickie Bailey of Stephens and Betty Winters of Camden; 45 grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren; and 12 great great grandchildren.
Services were held at Union Baptist Church on Sunday, August 25, in Rosston with Rev. Raymond Hicks officiating.
Burial was in Union cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps.

Henry A. Bright
Henry A. Bright, 83, of Gilmer, Texas, formerly of Emmet, died Wednesday, March 20, 1996, in Longview Regional Hospital in Longview, Texas.
Born March 16, 1913, in Nevada County, he was a retired chicken farmer and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Bright of Gilmer, Texas; three stepsons, George E. Langston of Gilmer, Lyndell Mac Langston of College Station, Texas, and Virgil McNatt of Florida; one stepdaughter, Cathron Cockrell of Coleman, Texas; two brothers, Jim Bright of Sutton and Duncan Bright of Indiana; and a sister, Ruby Grimes of Texarkana, Ark.
Services were held Saturday, March 23, at Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel Funeral Home in Hope. Burial was in Harmony cemetery in Sutton under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel Funeral Home.

Norman W. Terrell
Norman W. Terrell, 69, of Hope died Friday, March 22, 1996, in Medical Park Hospital in Hope.
Born June 6, 1926, in Gonzales County, Texas, he was a retired self-employed welder, a veteran of World War II and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, June Boyles Terrell of Hope; two daughters, Linda Ramirez of Eloy, Ariz., and Dianna Terrell of Prescott; a brother, Alvin Terrell of Emmet; a sister, Lorene Krejci of Flatonia, Texas; and three grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, March 25, at Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel Funeral Home in Hope with Rev. Jackie Wood officiating. Burial was in Water Creek cemetery in Guernsey under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel Funeral Home.

Dorothy P. Field
Mrs. Dorothy P. Grimmett Field, 79, of Arkadelphia died Friday, March 22, at the Pineview Nursing Home in Gurdon.
She was born August 4, 1916, in Prescott. She was the daughter of R.R. and Zula Boyd Grimmett. She was a retired retail clerk for Thrifty Drug Store in Long Beach, Calif., and a Christian. She was the widow of Louis Field.
Survivors include a son, Donald T. Atkins of Arkadelphia; two brothers, Henry E. Grimmett of Sun Lakes, Ariz., and Col. (ret.) Charles M. Milam of North Little Rock; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, March 25, at Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home Chapel in Arkadelphia with Rev. Carl Kluck and Dr. Shelby Cowling officiating. Interment was in DeAnn cemetery in Prescott. Memorials may be made to the Arkadelphia Second Baptist Church building fund.

Odiabelle Almond
Odiabelle Almond, 78, of Prescott died Friday, March 22, 1996, in Prescott.
Born February 15, 1918, in Prescott, she was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Butler of Prescott and Marilyn K. Davis of Emmet; three sisters, Marie Loe of Hope, Christine Otwell of Texarkana, Texas, and Jean Clem of Tuscon, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
Services were held Sunday, March 24, at the Shackelford Funeral Home chapel in Prescott with Rev. Jerry Westmoreland officiating. Burial was in DeAnn cemetery in Prescott under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home.

Alfred E. Fudge
Alfred E. Fudge, 78, of Gurdon, formerly of Prescott, died Sunday, March 24, 1996.
Born September 4, 1917, in Prescott, he was the son of John and Grace Fudge. He worked for Warren Oil Company, was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the widower of Elizabeth Fudge.
Survivors include one granddaughter, Alisa Barrett of Texarkana, Texas; and one grandson, Nathan Fudge of Little Rock.
Graveside services and burial were held Tuesday, March 26, in Rose Hedge cemetery in Gurdon with David Moseley officiating under the direction of Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon.

Baby Christina Rash
Baby Christina Brooke Rash, infant, of Benton, formerly of Prescott and Emmet, died Thursday, September 29, 2005, at St. Vincent’s Doctor’s Hospital in Little Rock.
She was born September 29, 2005, in Little Rock to Brandon and Callie Beth Stewart Rash.
Survivors include her parents Brandon and Beth Rash of Benton; paternal grandparents, Billy and Gail Rash of Prescott; maternal grandparents, Billy Don and Gail Stewart of Emmet; maternal great-grandparents, Joe and Frances Munn of Emmet; one uncle, Nathan Stewart of Emmet; two aunts, Tiffany Reeves of Magnolia and Staci Niemeyer of N. Little Rock; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2005, at Central Baptist Church in Prescott with Rev. Perry Johnson and Rev. Elmer Grant officiating. Burial was in Harmony cemetery in Sutton. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
Family received friends Monday, October 3, 2005, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

Jessica Fuller
Jessica Leighann Fuller, three-month-old infant, died April 19, 1996, in Nashville.
Born January 10, 1996, in Texarkana, Texas, she was the infant daughter of Scott and Jerri Fuller of Nashville. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her parents, Scott and Jerri Fuller of Nashville; a sister, Sinithea Morton of Nashville; her grandparents, Richard and Bobbie Fuller of Prescott, Sammy and Mary Robinson of Nashville and Jerry and Melissa Morton of Hope; and her great grandmother, Juanita Taylor of Prescott.
Services were held Wednesday, April 24, at the Shackelford Funeral Home chapel in Prescott with Ricky Burke officiating. Burial was in DeAnn cemetery in Prescott under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott.

Gerald Clayton Hendrix
Gerald Clayton Hendrix, 63, of Antoine died Wednesday, April 26, 1996, in Antoine.
Born September 18, 1932, in Antoine, he attended Harding College and the University of Arkansas. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, served on the Arkansas Soil and Water Conservation Commission for 26 years, was elected to the Arkansas House of Representatives in 1994 and was a member of the Antoine Church of Christ, where he served as a deacon.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Lou Hendrix of Antoine; three sons, David Brian of Antoine, Kent Hendrix of Nashville and Max Hendrix of Arlington, Texas; his parents, the former senator and Mrs. Olen Hendrix of Antoine; a sister, Annette Baldwin of Marshall, Texas; two brothers, James William Hendrix of Antoine and Darwin Hendrix of Antoine; his mother-in-law, Ida Lamb of Waldron; and five grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Friday, April 26, in the Antoine cemetery with Wallace Alexander, Gene Jester and B.B. Harding officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home of Glenwood. Pallbearers were Bill Phillips, Bobby Taylor, Howard Taylor, Gus Wingfield, Russell Barton and Barnell Maddox. Memorials may be made to the Antoine Church of Christ.
