Lillian Davis
Lillian P. Campbell Clark Davis, 83, of Emmet, died Thursday, March 3, 2005, at the Medical Park Hospital in Hope.
She was born January 11, 1922, in Lewisville.
Mrs. Davis was a member of the Piney Grove Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who spent her life working hard in and outside of the home to support her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Willis Clark, her parents, four brothers, and four sisters.
She is survived by six sons: George Clark of Pittsburg, Tex., Jerry Clark of Sheridan, Roy Clark of Hope, Jim Clark of Nashville, Tenn., Coy Clark of Emmet and Tommy Davis of Bodcaw; six daughters, Martha Raines and Shirley Martin both of Cale, Judy Thompson of Stamps, Joy Humphres of Emmet, Peggy Martin of Prescott, and Ethel Goodner of Cale; 39 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and several great-great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2005, at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps with Rev. Patrick Fulmer officiating with burial in Union cemetery at Bodcaw. Under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
Nell M. Jobe Huskey
Nell M. Jobe Huskey, 77, of Prescott died Monday, January 10, 2000, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope.
Mrs. Huskey was born July 17, 1922, in Many, La. She was a housewife. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Prescott.
Survivors include her husband, Buck Huskey of Prescott; one son, Hoyt Jobe of Prescott; two step-sons, Donald Huskey of Texarkana, Texas, and Randy Huskey of Little Rock; three step-daughters, Jimmie Cornelius of Prescott, Brenda Renfro of Fayetteville and Mary Elizabeth of Texarkana, Texas; and 12 grandchildren, Jason Jobe and Sarah Jobe of Prescott, Jake Cornelius of Prescott, Jesna Lamb of Horatio, Matt Huskey of Hope, Randi Huskey and Jill Huskey of Texarkana, Texas, Kyley Renfro of Mena, Ashley Renfro and Allison Renfro of Fayetteville, Shannon Starkey of Dallas, Texas, and Perry Hart of Salem, Ore.
Funeral services will be today, Wednesday, January 12, at 10:00 a.m. at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Mitchell and Rev. Chad Brandon officiating. Burial will be in Caney cemetery at Caney under the direction of Brazzel Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott. The family was to have received friends Tuesday, January 11, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mildred Graham
Mildred Graham, 78, of Hope died Monday, January 17, 2000, at Medical Park Hospital.
Mrs. Graham was born June 10, 1921, in Maud, Texas. She was retired from Red River Army Depot and she was a housewife. She was a member of the Baptist Church, American Legion Auxiliary and Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Thurman ‘Dick' Graham; a brother, Perry Brown of Maud, Texas; three sisters, Leola Mamaralla of Hooks, Texas, Eaton Jones of Maud, Texas, and Jamie Mondello of Henderson, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 19, at Herndon Funeral Chapel with Rev. Harley Sisson officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens cemetery in Hope under the direction of Herndon Funeral Home of Hope.
Clara Sue McGlone
Clara Sue McGlone, 58, of Winnsboro, Texas, died Tuesday, January 18, 2000, at a Tyler hospital.
Mrs. McGlone was born in Prescott to the late Owen and Lucille Delaney Harris. She was a housewife and a member of the Church of Christ in Winnsboro. She married
James Hampton McGlone on February 22, 1960, and was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Levonne Harris.
Survivors include her husband of forty years, James McGlone of Winnsboro; sons, Darren McGlone of Tyler and Ronnie McGlone of Slaton, Texas; a brother, Alvis Harris of Greenville, Texas; three sisters, Joyce Welch of Mabank, Texas, Polly Lewis of Winnsboro and Lou Elmore of Winnsboro; grandchildren, Ryan McGlone of Dallas, Texas, Jennifer Vessel of Tyler, Texas, Brittany McGlone of Winnsboro, Sara Vessel of Tyler, Hope McGlone of Slaton, Texas, and Brandon McGlone of Slaton.

P. Mabel White
Mrs. P. Mabel White, 96, of Mineral Wells, Texas, formerly of Emmet, died Thursday, January 20, 2000, at the Resort Lodge Nursing Home in Mineral Wells.
Mrs. White was born May 8, 1903, in Pine Bluff to William Marion and Emma Eliza Oaks. She was a housewife and a mother. She was a member of a non-denominational church. Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall H. White, and one son, Willie Clarence White, and by four great grandchildren, James Vandyke, Ronnie Garner, Sherry Garner and Kenneth Wayne Garner.
Survivors include two sons, Frank White of Fort Worth, Texas, and James Olin White of Emmet; three daughters, Ruth D. Patterson of Emmet, Ruby Alexander of Sacramento, Calif., and Jo Gregory of Mineral Wells; 20 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 17 great great grandchildren.

Clyne F. Compton
Clyne F. Compton, 88, of Prescott, died Friday, February 11, 2000.
Mr. Compton was a retired crane operator for Potlatch, a veteran of WW II and a member of Boughton Baptist Church. He was born June 30, 1911, to Levi and Pearl Mitchell Compton in southern Arkansas.
Survivors include his loving wife, Wilma Burks Compton of Prescott; two daughters, Linda Ghormley and Kay Hendrix both of Prescott; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were Sunday, February 13, in the chapel of Shackelford Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Christopher officiating. Burial was in DeAnn cemetery under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott.
Fay Alma Sutton
Fay Alma Sutton, 90, of Prescott died Saturday, February 12, 2000, at Hillcrest Care and Rehab in Prescott.
Mrs. Sutton was born June 1, 1909, in Nevada County to Al and Kate House Loomis. She was a retired nurse and midwife and a member of First Christian Church in Prescott.
Survivors include her husband, Leslie James Sutton of Prescott; two brothers, Roy Loomis of Prescott and Wayne Loomis of Tulsa, Okla.; and one sister, Jessie Moore of Missouri.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, February 15, at DeAnn cemetery with Rev. Jerry Westmoreland officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
Joyce Camp Murphy
Joyce Camp Murphy, 73, of Waldo died Friday, February 11, 2000, in Magnolia Hospital.
Mrs. Murphy was born August 3, 1926, in Hope to Irwin Andrew and Emma Etta (Gray) Burns. She was a retired self-employed owner and operator of Willisville Grocery and a member of the Church of Christ in Willisville. She was preceded in death by O.B. ‘Buddy' Camp, first husband of 32 years, and Lee Roy Murphy, her second husband.
Survivors include four daughters, Linda Kay Long, Vicky Joann Hicks, Nancy Sue Walthall and Terry Jean Jarvis all of Willisville; stepson, Dwight Arnold Camp of McLeod, Texas; twin brother, Elmer Loyce Burns of Bodcaw; two half sisters, Benni Walker of Ajax, La., and Maxine Williamson of Tyler, Texas; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, February 13, at Willisville Church of Christ with Leon Watson officiating. Burial was in Willisville cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home of Magnolia.
Pallbearers were Frank Long, Randy Hicks, Shannon Hicks, Chris Long, Matthew Herring and Wiley Whitley. Memorials may be made to the Southern Christian Home in Morrilton.
Kellye Amanda Sayers
Kellye Amanda Sayers, 17, of Prescott formally of Plain Dealing, La., was called home by her Lord Tuesday, February 8, 2000.
Kellye was born September 30, 1982, in Springhill, La. She was a loving daughter, sister and friend. She was a Christian and member of Oak Hill Baptist Church in Plain Dealing. Kellye was a student at Prescott High School, a senior classmate of the class of 2000. She was a member of FBLA, Science Club, past manager of the Wolverette basketball and track teams and senior Curley Wolves cheerleading squad.
She is survived by her mother, Melanie Van Sayers; brother Thomas Sayers, both of Prescott; father, Robert Lynn Sayers of Sarepta, La.; maternal grandparents, Joe and Yvonne Van of Plain Dealing; paternal grandparents, Billy and Zeophia Sayers of Sarepta; paternal great grandparents, Mildred Carr of Cullen, La.; and A.D. Sayers of Homer, La.; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Services were held Saturday, February 12, at Plain Dealing Baptist Church with Rev. Ernest DeSoto and Rev. Wayne Craig officiating. She was laid to rest on a mountain side, close to her Lord at Rocky Mount cemetery under the direction of Bailey Mortuary.
Carrie Webb Vandiver
Carrie Web Vandiver, 29, of Prescott was called to her eternal home on Tuesday, February 19, 2000, at Hillcrest Care and Rehab Center in Prescott.
Carrie was born August 14, 1970, in Prescott.
Those left to cherish her memory are: her daughter, Chelsea Symone Vandiver of Prescott; three brothers, Kevin Webb of Conway and Bill Webb II and Jonathan Webb of Prescott; two sisters, Stacie Fowler and Renee Yonker of Prescott; her parents, Bill Webb of Prescott and Charlene Durrett of Little Rock; grandparents, Darrell and Carrie Webb of Prescott; her Aunt Bonnie Varner of Prescott and her Uncle Gary Webb of Shreveport, La.; two nieces and three nephews and a family friend, Pat Hignight.
Funeral services were Thursday, March 2, at Liberty Church of the Nazarene near Prescott with Bro. Vern Hatton officiating. Burial was in the Liberty cemetery under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott.
Roy Almond Loomis
Roy Almond Loomis, 95, of Prescott died Friday, March 4, 2000, in Benton.
Mr. Loomis was born January 20, 1905, in Prescott to Hiram Almond Loomis and Kate House Loomis. He was the retired owner and operator of Prescott Implement Company. He was a World War II veteran. Mr. Loomis was a member of First Baptist Church of Prescott, where he was a deacon emeritus He was a 32nd degree Mason and a former county treasurer.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Martha Loomis of Hot Springs; a brother, Wayne Loomis of Tulsa, Okla.; a sister, Jessie Moore of Neosho, Mo.; and two granddaughters, Melissa Loomis of Denver, Colo., and Mandi Loomis of Chicago, Ill.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 7, at First Baptist Church in Prescott with Jerry Westmoreland officiating. Burial was in DeAnn cemetery under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott.

Leamon A. Buck
Leamon A. Buck, 79, of Prescott died Tuesday, March 7, 2000, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope.
Mr. Buck was born in Clark County on March 3, 1921, to Carl Buck and Murl Francis Buck. He was a retired logger and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include five sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Diane Buck and Charles and Lanette Buck of McCaskill, Danny Buck and Ricky and Becky Buck of Delight and Ronald Buck of Emmet; four daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy Barnett of Murfreesboro, Linda and Chester Hutchison and Vicky and Steve Watts of Delight and Cathy and Tom Bonner of Nathan; two brothers, Edward Buck and Roger Buck of Delight; three sisters, Kathleen Tramel of Prescott, Bonnie Browning of Houston, Texas, and Lenda Buck of Hot Springs; and 20 grandchildren.
