Abby Danielle Patterson, Infant, of Murfreesboro, AR. passed away on April 27, 2005.

She was the daughter of Jeremy Daniel and Amanda Ellen Watson Patterson.

Survivors include her father Jeremy Daniel Patterson and her mother Amanda Ellen Watson Patterson both of Nathan, AR. One brother Colton Dale Patterson of Nathan, AR; Maternal Grandparents Larry and Eva Watson of Murfreesboro, AR; Paternal Grandparents Johnny and Vicki Patterson of Murfreesboro, AR; Maternal Great-Grandparents Olan and Johnie Watson of Murfreesboro, AR.

She is preceded in death by Clio and Paul Fain; Ted and Ruth Lambert; and C.D. Cushion.

Graveside Services will be 1:30 P.M. Sunday, May 1, 2005 at Academy cemetery in Nathan, AR., with Randy Hughes officiating.

Under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.

Daphna Fugitt
April 24th, 2005
Daphna Fugitt, 86, of Murfreesboro, died Sunday, April 24, 2005, at a Murfreesboro hospital.

She was born May 26, 1918, at Billstown, AR, the daughter of the late Roland and Emily Thomasson Beaty.

She was a homemaker; a member of Murfreesboro Church of Christ.

She was a devoted Christian, loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was a good cook, loved to wear hats and loved to talk on the telephone and keep in touch with all of her loved ones.

She never met a stranger and her home was open to everyone.

Mrs. Fugitt was preceded in death by her husband, Willie O. Fugitt; two children, Shirley Fugitt Goodgame, who died in 1976 and Willie O. Fugitt, Jr., who died in 2001; and three brothers, Harold, Orville and Gene Beaty.

She is survived by one son, Jerry Fugitt of Murfreesboro, AR; two daughters, Maye Gnell Davis and husband, Noel, Jr. of Nashville, AR and Janice Ramage and husband, Phil, of Nashville, AR; eleven grandchildren, Sheree McKinnon, Karen Bean, J.J. Jones, Sissi Coker, Skipper Davis, Misty Kizzia, Phillip Ramage, Holly Ramage, Leslie Allmon, Jeremy Fugitt and Brittany Fugitt; fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of friends.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 27, at Murfreesboro Church of Christ, with Mr. Tommy Mounts officiating, burial in Japany cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.

The family will receive friends at Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro, Tuesday, April 26, from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.

In leiu of flowers, donations may be made to Japany cemetery Fund.

Patricia Florence Simpson
April 22nd, 2005
Patricia Florence Simpson, age 46, of Nashville, Arkansas, died Friday, April 22, 2005 in a Texarkana Hospital.

She was born August 14, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late Jack Donald and June Elizabeth Rowe Simpson.

She joined True Faith Holiness Church of God in Christ on October 31, 2004.

She attended faithly until her health failed her.

She was in the Air Force at age 19. She attended college.

She moved to Arkansas 4 years ago to live with her sister, Michelle Bulliner.

Survivors include her son Maurice Monroe of Washington, D.C.; her daughter Coqueise G. Hayden of Gardena, California; 2 brothers Martyn Donald Simpson, and Jack Donald Simpson, Jr. of California and 3 sisters Michelle Bulliner of Nashville, Coqueise Ann Simpson of Gardena, California and Felicia Simpson of Nashville, special friend, Sharon Weatherspoon, Lee Aurdy and Ruthi Ann Scroggins.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, April 30, 2005 at True Faith Holiness Church of God in Christ at 124 E. 2nd Street, Hope, AR.

Austin Roy Stone
April 22nd, 2005
Austin Roy Stone, 92, of Blevins, died Friday, April 22, 2005.

He was born February 15, 1913, at McCaskill, AR, the son of the late J.O. (Oscar) and Elizabeth York Stone.

He was a retired worker for the Hempstead County Road Department.

He was a member of Friendship Methodist Church.

Mr. Stone was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Stone; two children, Hansford Stone and Sally Bowden; four brothers, Coy Stone, J.D. Stone, Imon Stone and Dalton Stone and one sister, Pauline Treece.

He is survived by one daughter, Ava Nell Brooks of Blevins, AR; two brothers, Sherman Stone of Benton, AR and Quinton Stone of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, Danny Stone of McCaskill, AR, Debbie Butler of Sourlake, TX, David Stone of Texarkana, TX, Keith Brooks of Blevins, AR and Kellie Carter of Blevins, AR; six great-grandchildren; a number of nephews and nieces and a host of friends.

Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 25, at Friendship Methodist Church, burial in Friendship cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.

The family will receive friends at Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville, Sunday, April 24, from 5:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M.

Bobby Gene Wood
April 22nd, 2005
Bobby Gene Wood, age 66, of Highland, Arkansas, died Friday April 22, 2005, at his home.

He was born January 27, 1939 in Mineral Springs, Arkansas, the son of the late William Alfred and Dossie Calley Wood.

Mr. Wood was a member of Open Door Baptist Church and an Army veteran.

He was dedicated to his family, his work and his church.

He recently graduated, in Spring 2005, from the Calvary Bible Institute in Eufaula, Oklahoma.

Survivors include his wife Joyce Wood of Highland; 1 son Unitas Wood of Houston, Texas; 3 daughters Sherry Wood Turley of Nashville, Caprice Wood Keys of Pike City, Catrice Wood Payne of Nashville; 2 sisters Elaine Marshall of Delight, Dixie Franks of Delight; 3 grandchildren Brad Payne, Sham Payne, Jackson Turley as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at the Delight First Missionary Baptist Church.

Robert Jewell McClure

Robert Jewell McClure, 85, of Nashville, died Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at a Nashville hospital.

He was born March 13, 1920, at Nathan, AR, the son of the late Joe and Lucy Cornish McClure.

Mr. McClure was a member and a deacon at Immanuel Baptist Church.

He was a retired Mechanist Supervisor for Raytheon-Aero Manufacturing Co.

Mr. McClure was preceded in death by his wife, Fern Brewer McClure; mother and step-father, Lucy and Mack Bradford; three brothers, Buster, Wayne and Junior Bradford; and one sister, Elsie Lakey.

He is survived by one son, Joe McClure of Nashville, AR; four brothers, Edwin Bradford of Wake Village, TX, Larkin Bradford of Kountze, TX, J.L. Bradford of Nashville, AR, and R.V. Bradford of Nashville, AR; five sisters, Ruby McDaniel of Magnolia, AR, Shirley Bradford of Nashville, AR, Betty Kibodeaux of Beaumont, TX, Linda Hockaday of Nashville, AR, and Patsy Whitehead of Genoa, AR, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 23, at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel, with Revs. Derl Lee and Glen Green officiating, burial in Restland Memorial Park, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.

The family will receive friends at Latimer Funeral Home, Friday, April 22, from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.

Ron Windole Elmore, Jr.
May 21, 2008
Ron Windole Elmore, Jr., age 22, of Conway, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008 in Tallahassee, Florida.

He was born on January 19, 1986 in Grapevine, Texas, the son of Ron Windole and Karen Ruth (Epton) Elmore.

Ron was a head waiter at the Marketplace Grill in Conway and member of the McCaskill Church of Christ.

Ron graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway on May 3, 2008 with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Charles Epton and paternal grandparents, Thomas A. and Eloise Elmore.

Survivors include: his parents, Ron and Karen Elmore of McCaskill; one brother, Todd Thomas Elmore of Hope, Arkansas; maternal grandmother, Shirley Anthony of Murfreesboro; one very special fiancée, Jenna Jenkins of Conway; and several Aunts and Uncles.

Numerous other relatives and friends mourn his passing.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 27, at McCaskill Church of Christ, with John Ross and Wallace Alexander officiating, burial in Harris cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Monday, May 26, from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M.

Ethel Lorie Copeland Spears

Ethel Lorie Copeland Spears, 76, of Highland, AR, died May 20, 2008 at a Texarkana hospital.

She was born March 25, 1932, in Nashville, AR., the daughter of the late Ben and Myrtle Myers Copeland.

She was a Baptist. She lived 45 years in Warren, IN before returning back to Highland, AR.

Mrs. Spears was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Cloid N. Spears, three brothers, Archie Copeland, Leo Copeland, and Leon Copeland; one sister, Lucille Copeland.

She is survived by two sons, Tannie L. Spears of Highland, AR, Robin Spears and wife, Debbie of Etna Green, IN; one daughter, Terriffa Huffman of Huntington, IN; four sisters and brothers-in-laws, Ila Chambers and husband, Russell, of Barling, AR, Betty Johnson and husband, Jack, of Ben Lomond, AR, Norma Schroeder and husband, Eddie, of Kenner, LA and Elizabeth Teague of Bossier City, LA; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, May 23, from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M.

Dorothy D. White Robertson

Dorothy D. White Robertson, 88, of Hot Springs, AR, died Sunday, May 4, 2008, at a Hot Springs hospital.

She was born May 10, 1919, at Nathan, AR, the daughter of the late Madison L. and Frankie (Porter) Floyd.

She was a self-employed beautician and she was a member of the Beauticians Union.

She was a member of the Airport Road Church of Christ in Hot Springs.

Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death by one son, Glynn White and one brother, Jack Floyd.

She is survived by her husband, James J. Robertson of Hot Springs, AR; two sisters, Dorene Thrasher of Paris, TX and Florence Turley of Nashville, AR; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great great grandson; a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 7, at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel, burial in Biggs Chapel cemetery, at Nathan, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or National Alzheimers Association.

Sue Hoover
May 3, 2008
Irma Sue Hoover, 76, of Murfreesboro, died Saturday, May 3, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hot Springs.

She was born on November 26, 1931 in Murfreesboro, the daughter of the late Richard M. and Nancy J. (Gresham) Chaney.

She was a housewife and member of the First United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hoover was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hoover; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Survivors include: three daughters, Susan Gills and Steve Nolen; Jan and Roy Burk; and Tina and Kelly Hinds all of Murfreesboro; one brother, Leon Chaney of Murfreesboro; one sister, Cynthia Ruth Chaney of Sarasota, Florida; and 6 grandchildren, Tye Gills, Jana Gills, Rylee Burk, Jessi McKinnon, Katelin Hinds, and Blake Hinds.

A host of other relatives and friends mourn her passing.

Services will be on Monday, May 5, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. in the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Murfreesboro with Keith Dodson officiating.

Burial will follow at Roy cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Murfreesboro.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 4 from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Murfreesboro Senior Adult Center of the Roy cemetery Fund.
