Edith Harrison Dowell passed away November 26, 2012.
She was born December 13, 1925 in Ringwood, Illinois where she resided for 65 years before moving to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Boyd; her parents, Roy and Katie Harrison; and brothers, Loren and Clarence.
Edith is survived by son, William and wife Diane of Ringwood; numerous nieces and nephews; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Edith retired from Wells Manufacturing in Woodstock, Illinois as a purchasing agent.
She was a 63 year member of the Order of Eastern Star, a member of Village United Methodist Church and a volunteer and former board member of Potter’s Clay.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2012 at Village United Methodist Church.

Ernie 'Bubba' Cleveland, 67, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, died Monday, November 26, 2012.
He was born May 3, 1945 in Greeneville, Mississippi to the late Willie Cleveland and Sarah (Brown) Cleveland Wright.
He was a plumber and was of the Christian Faith.
Ernie is preceded in death by his father and his grandmother, Gertrude Williams.
He is survived by his mother, Sarah Wright of Hot Springs; wife Faith (Beacham) Cleveland of Hot Springs; sons Matthew Hartman of Hot Springs and Chris Hamilton (Erin) of Ozark; daughters Tina Cleveland of Hot Springs; Jennifer Cleveland of Dallas, Texas, Willa Steward of Hot Springs, Vivian Williams (Rodney) of Memphis Tennessee, Sondra Steward-Thomas (Doug) of Hot Springs and Regena Steward of Memphis, Tennessee; brothers Roy Wright of Oakland, California, Steve Wright of Baltimore, Maryland, Stanley Wright of Hot Springs; Carl Wright of Oakland, California; sisters Katherine Burns, Carrie Rasberry, Bertha Osborn (Sylvester), Sarah Ruth Springer all of Hot Springs and Sankie Lee Wright of Chicago, Illinois; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; aunt Mildred Goolsby of Macon, Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Honorary pallbearers include Chester Fugate, Eddie Lee Jones, Freddie Burns, Tony Noles, Gates MaGoo, Mary Fly and fellow musicians.
A memorial Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with Rev. Willie Wade, Jr. officiating.
Charlotte "Jackie" Rose Bull

Jackie Bull, 68, of Hot Springs, went to be with the Lord on November 26, 2012.
She was born March 25, 1944 in Hot Springs to William Roy and Rachel (Short) Sherrill.
Jackie is predeceased by her parents, husband, Bryan Bull, Jr., son, Evan Aldridge, brothers, Pat and Pete Sherrill.
Survivors include the love of her life, Elmer Miles; sisters, Gwen Sherrill, Judith Sherrill, Marty Devasher and Susan Sherrill; also several nieces and nephews that loved her like a mother.
Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M., Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Tranquil cemetery on Higdon Ferry Rd., followed by a memorial service at 1:00 P.M. at the Frontier Bar.

Lawrence 'Larry' F. Jennings, 74, of Hot Springs died Wednesday, November 21.
He was born November 8, 1938, in Romulus, New York to the late Jessie and Marian (Landis) Jennings.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ronald; and one sister, Elsie.
Larry is survived by his wife, Sandra Jennings; a daughter, Susie Haynes, of Grand Prairie, Texas; step-sons Terry Rinehart and Dennis Johnson; step-daughters Nikkie Miller and Kimberly Redmon; mother-in-law Betty Loy; brothers Allen (Bertie) and Robert (Beverly), both of Romulus, New York; sisters Barbara and Ellie (Harold), both of Romulus, New York; brothers-in-law Hank and Phillip Kimery; sisters-in-law Debbie Davis and Kay (David) Campbell; and grandchildren Amber, Kimberly, and Jessie.
Clarence Edwin Weidner

Clarence Edwin Weidner, 'Pete', 80, of Malvern, Arkansas, died Friday, November 23, 2012.
He was born September 9, 1932 in Haskell, Arkansas, to the late Robert and Ruby Owens Weidner.
Clarence retired from the United States Air Force after more than twenty years of service.
He loved cooking and making candies for senior citizens and was a line worker for Georgia Pacific.
Clarence was a lifelong traveler; everywhere he went, he had a friend.
Clarence is preceded in death by parents and sisters, Helen Parker and Jean Harris.
He is survived by his son, Curtis Ray Weidner of Roosevelt, Utah; daughter Lisa Bonner (Scott) of Fruita, Colorado; grandchildren Monaco Weidner, Jon Laburm, Marco Brine; great-grandchildren Natawnee and R’eahnee; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Friday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Centerview cemetery with Brother Justin Leonard and Brother Joe Cook officiating.
Pallbearers include Chad Barber, Chris Samples, Lonnie Barber, Lloyd Howerton, Leon Jenkins and Randy Parker.

Kenneth A. Grimes, 74, of Hot Springs Village passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012.
He was born October 21, 1938 in Erie, Pennsylvania to Kenneth and Lucile Grimes.
Kenneth was a private person with a love of golf and cared deeply for his flower garden.
He was a successful manager for 37 years with the Army Air Force Exchange Service.
He is predeceased by his parents.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carolyn Grimes of Hot Springs Village; son, Kenneth David Grimes of Texas; daughters and sons-in-laws, Tambra Marie and Lee Draper of Georgia and Barbie and Ron Hill of Texas; sisters Jackie Bradley (Phil) of Alabama and Susie Dyches of Florida; and three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday in Caruth Village Funeral Home.

Dewie W. White, 85, of Malvern, Arkansas, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 28, 2012.
He was born August 2, 1927 in Oma, Arkansas, to the late Walter Pate and Rebecca (Forshee) White.
Dewie was a member of the Friendship Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Oleta White; son Mitchell White; grandson Noah White; five brothers and three sisters.
Dewie is survived by his son Walter White, Sr. and wife Linda of Donaldson, Arkansas; daughters Linda Moody of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Lisa Jorge and husband Juan; sister Clara Smith of Hot Springs, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Friday at Friendship Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.
Service will be at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Bro. Hollis McDermott officiating.
Honorary pallbearers include the staff of The Crossing and Hot Spring County Medical Center.
Alice Cooper

Alice Cooper, 95 of Hot Springs Village, AR peacefully passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013.
Alice enjoyed music and entertainment and always displayed her great sense of humor.
She is preceded in death by husband, Joseph Raymond DuVall; and second husband, Leo Cooper.
Alice is survived by her children, Carolyn Reed (Donald), James DuVall (Chris) and David DuVall (Beverly); two sisters, Margaret Stuckenschneider and Virginia Turk; and six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life memorial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2013 at Caruth Village Funeral Home.
