Paul Botteron, 61, of Hot Springs, Arkansas died Tuesday January 8, 2013.
He was born October 2, 1951 in Denver, Colorado to Harold Botteron and Laura Botteron McLeod.
Paul was the co-founder of J and P Fabrication, LLC with his son John, doing business as ATV-Guru.com, selling high quality ATV bumpers that shipped all over the world.
Paul was a master welder-fabricator and had been a master diesel mechanic for C.J Horner for over 30 Years.
He was a perfectionist and always held himself to exacting standards.
He taught his son everything he knew and John intends to carry on the tradition.
Paul was a dedicated husband of almost 42 years to Annette, his soul mate and best friend.
His daughter Penny was and always will be Daddy’s Little Girl.
He was at his happiest with a grandchild - Emily, Drew or Adalyn - in his arms.
He would always help out his mother and sisters as needed, as well as the extended family.
He was also known on the internet ATV forums as 'Trailtoad' and is greatly missed by many all over the country.
The family is comforted knowing he is safely in the arms of Jesus and we will see him again someday.
Survivors include wife, Annette Smith Botteron; mother, Laura Botteron McLeod; daughter, Penny Botteron; son, John Botteron and wife, Crystal; grandkids, Emily Botteron, Drew Botteron, Adalyn Botteron all of Hot Springs; sisters, Gail Botteron Adams of Hot Springs, Sheryl Botteron Pease and husband, Arthur Pease of Haughton, Louisiana; nephews, Kevin Pease and wife, Sherri of Evans, Louisiana, Eric Pease of Houston, Texas.
Visitation is 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.
Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Price cemetery with Rev. Scott Gallimore officiating.
Pallbearers include Kevin Pease, Eric Pease, Adam Richardson, Jason Richardson, Joe White, and John Felgate.
Jim Potvin
June 20, 1937 - May 3, 2013
'Jim’s final Tee-Time came earlier than expected.'
Jim Potvin, 75, of Hot Springs Village died Friday, May 3, 2013.
He was born in Alpena, MI to the late Willard and Blanche Potvin.
Jim loved golf and was a former member of the Garland County Senior Golf Association and the Evening Lions.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and enjoyed playing Pinochle and Bridge.
Jim is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 19 years, Lois Potvin; three sons, Pat, Mike and Timothy Potvin; one daughter, Kelly Guerrero; step-children, Jeff, Craig and Kevin Ahmer; seven grandchildren, Anisa, Max, Sadie, Kameron, Ryan, Macie and Kayla.
A celebration of Jim’s life will be held Friday, May 10, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church with Father Greg Fry officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holly Trinity Episcopal Church or a charity of choice.
Benjamin Franklin Harvey
August 2, 1933 - May 2, 2013
Benjamin Franklin Harvey passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013.
He was born August 2, 1933 in Atlantic City, New Jersey to Benjamin Franklin Harvey and Edna Marie Scher.
Ben was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, a Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus for over forty years and a retired financial consultant from the Metropolitan Insurance Company.
He was a member of the following organizations: Village Card Club, Hot Springs Village Bocce Club, Pathfinders and Singles Club, McAuley Senior Center and the Double Pinochle and Hand and Foot Card Groups.
Ben loved cooking.
He was always kind and willing to help family and friends.
Ben never met a stranger and had a warm smile.
Mr. Harvey was predeceased by his parents and daughter, Patricia Harvey.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Marcella Gausling Harvey; three daughters, Kathleen (Steve) Romine of Southampton, PA, Donna (Joseph) Barone of Summit Hill, PA and Charlotte Harvey of Quakertown, PA; sisters, Bernadette (Joseph) Weis of Ringwood, New Jersey and Barbara (William) Mulcahy of Hot Springs Village; brothers, Robert (Ching) Harvey of Philadelphia, PA and William (Becky) Harvey of Doylestown, PA; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with rosary recited at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
Inurnment will be in the church columbarium.
A reception will follow in the church hall.

Carl Paul Haefner
October 1, 1924 - May 1, 2013
Carl Paul Haefner, 88, of Hot Springs Village passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013.
He was born October 1, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois to Carl and Emma Haefner.
Carl was a Seabee in the US Navy during WWII.
He retired with over 30 years with Dana Corporation.
He was a kind and giving man with a quick wit.
Carl was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
He was predeceased by his parents and sisters, Dolores and Elaine Haefner.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Ella Dean Haefner of Hot Springs Village; brother, George F. Haefner of Illinois; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Jake Marrs of Hot Springs Village; niece: Janet (Paul) Swatek; nephew, Douglas P. (Susan) Marrs; great nieces, Erika Swatek and Emma, Sara and Anna Marrs; great nephews, Alexander and Austin Swatek and Jake Marrs; and a host of dear friends.
No services are planned as per Carl’s wishes.

Reuben Donald Hodges
January 28, 1942 - May 2, 2013
Reuben Donald "Don" Hodges of Hot Springs went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was the first born on January 28, 1942 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
He married
Diana (Abbott) Hodges on August 18, 1964 and happily married
for 48 years.
Their love and devotion was an inspiration to all who knew them.
He was a manufacturing foreman at Lake Catherine Footwear for many years and worked numerous other jobs in spite of his partial blindness.
He was on the church board at Unity Full Gospel Church as well as adult Sunday School teacher for many years.
He devoted his whole live to providing for his family and serving God in too many ways to mention.
He was loved and respected by all who knew him.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Diana Hodges.
Son, Gary Hodges and former daughter-in-law Jody Hodges.
Daughter Donna Bush and son-in-law Keith.
God-daughters Trisha Warren and husband Buster, and Tammy Murders with husband Jeff.
Brothers Doug Hodges and wife Shirley Butler Hodges, and Dewayne Hodges.
Beloved sister and brother-in-laws Paulette and Steve Byrd and Freda and John Trammel.
Two grandchildren Eion and Jordan Hodges; three step-grandchildren Anna, Brad, and Matthew Bush; and three God-grandchildren Chad and Nicole Warren and Aaron Murders.
He had numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved him very much.
All family was from Hot Springs.
He will meet parents Reuben and Dovie Hodges, sister Amanda Moore, and sister-in-law Linda Hodges in heaven.
Our greatest appreciation to his little angel hospice nurses, Beth and Tish.
Pallbearers include Parker Ross, Mackenzie Ross, Brent Williams, Bryan Byrd, Richard Stauder and Chad Warren.
Visitation will be from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Howell officiating.
Reception is at Unity Full Gospel church following graveside service at Magnet Cove cemetery.
William M. "Sonny" Thomas
August 17, 1930 - May 5, 2013
William M. "Sonny" Thomas, age 82, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013.
Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Seldon C. and Lola Doster Thomas and sister Gladys Thomas Dexter of Ohio.
Sonny is survived by his wife, Joann Langley Thomas of Hot Springs; sister Arnette Thomas Fischer and her family of Lee’s Summit, Missouri and several nephews and nieces.
Sonny retired from McKesson Corporation and the Garland County Assessor’s Office.
Sonny was an avid fisherman and motor cyclist.
He also enjoyed constructing and flying model airplanes.
Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2013 with services to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Central Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Arkansas Hospice Foundation, Central Baptist Church of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
