Billie Sue Pyeatt, of Bentonville, AR passed away April 3, 2016, at
Circle of Life Legacy Village in Bentonville. She was born in
Bentonville, July 29, 1934 to Burrell and Irma Gregory.
Billie Sue was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and lifelong
resident of Bentonville. She was an active member of New Home
Church and retired from First Federal Savings and Loan after 25 years
and finished her banking career at First Security Bank of Rogers.
She was proceeded in death by her parents and brothers, Bobby Jack
Gregory and Joe Gregory.
She is survived by her children; son, Pete Pyeatt and wife, Pam of
Springfield, MO and daughter, Connie Petri and husband, Don of
Bartow FL; three grandchildren, Gabrielle Hoover and husband,
John; Jarred Petri and wife, Fermina, Ashley Pyeatt and fiance` Brody
Hughes; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 9, 2016
at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel in Rogers with Randy
Featherston officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time.

Billie Eugene Copelin, 79, of Springdale, AR died Saturday, April
16, 2016 at home of natural causes. He was born April 27, 1936
in Latimer County, OK to Elias Elmo and Etta Ellen Keeling
Copelin. He was the youngest of eight children.
Billie was married
to Jean Copelin from 1955 to 1980 and to
Norma Copelin from 1994 to 2014. Upon high school graduation,
Bill entered the Air Force. A short while after his discharge he
became a lifelong resident of NW Arkansas.
Billie was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed being
outdoors, working on his farm and being around his family.
He is survived by three children, Kelly Copelin of Gravette, AR,
Bill Copelin of Fayetteville, and Betty Hartlerode of Elkins; and a
host of grand and great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 5-7:30 pm, Tuesday, April 19, 2016

Lloyd V. Hurlbert, 98, of Rogers died Thursday, March 10,
2016 at his home. He was born January 2, 1918 in Des
Moines, IA to Vernon and Hazel Hurlbert.
He joined the National Guard, then the Navy in 1937 and was
a Pearl Harbor survivor. He saw the United States flag raised
at Iwo Jima. He retired from the Navy in 1963.
Lloyd is survived by two daughters, Jeannine Brown and
husband, Benoit of Marengo, IL and Carolyn Ruhde of Rogers,
AR; a brother-in-law, Floyd Morrison; a sister-in-law, Kathryn
Williams; seven grandchildren, Michael Brown and wife,
Lauri, Donna King and husband, Greg, Mark Brown and wife,
Fena, Sean Brown
and wife, Allison, Matthew Brown and wife, Billie, Douglas
Ruhde and wife, Teresa, Phillip Ruhde and wife, Deborah; 11
great-grandchildren, Angie Bukowski and husband, Rory,
Ashley Morgan, Benjamin Brown and wife, Dana, Paul King,
Ryan Brown and Fiancé, Amanda Kutyba, Alex Brown, Cory
Brown and wife, Niki, Devon, Logan, Alyxandrah, Landon;

Wanda Mae Soales Lee passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Shiloh
Health in Springdale, AR with family by her side. She was born March 26,
1933 in Anderson, IN and lived more than thirty years in Elwood, IN
before moving to Bentonville, AR in 2001.
She worked at various jobs throughout her life as a LPN and worked at Ex-
Cello Manufacturing. She was an avid gardener and a master of sewing.
Wanda is survived by her daughters, Gwendolyn Hope Lee, Regina Gail
Garner (John), Melisa Ann Altherr (Joseph), Kimberly Dawn Masters
(Daniel); grandchildren, Daniel Tyler Masters, Morganne Danielle
Masters, Stephanie Dawn Thompson (Scott), Emily Ann Garner (Joshua
Lawson), Robert Thomas Lee (Jennifer), Christina Hawkins, Joseph
Altherr (Linda), John Garner (Penny), Carrie Sterling; Brother, John David
Yeagley; Niece, Rhonda Shepard (Mitch); Nephew, David E. Yeagley
(Shirley); twenty two great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren;
and four very special friends in Bentonville, AR - Terry O’Rourke, Allen
Mitchell, Lynn Love and Mary Tallant.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents Harvey Soales and Della
Frazier; Step-father, Charles Ruble; Daughter, Sharon Lee Ruble; Sister,
Belva Soales Hardwick; Nephew, Ronald Lee Yeagley.
A Christian service and celebration of life will be held at First Church of
the Nazarene, 2300 Jackson St., Anderson, IN at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July
2, 2016. Burial of her ashes will be immediately following at Maplewood
cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the
time of service on Saturday.

Dr. Donald Lee Steed, 84, of Bentonville, AR died July 23, 2016. His
service will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Stockdale-
Moody Funeral Services (2898 West Walnut, Rogers, AR 72756), with
internment at 2:00 pm at the Fayetteville National cemetery.
Don was born in 1931 in Cale, Arkansas to Bascom T. and Era L. Steed. He
was the third of four children and traveled with his family to live in a tent
city in Casa Grande, AZ during the Great Depression. Having grown
resilient and determined in his younger years, Don pursued an extensive
education, which included one year at Southern State College, Arkansas
before enlisting in the Air Force in 1951. He married
Pauline Campbell in
1952 and they were soon stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska where their first
child was born. As he was stationed in one location after another he
attended Arkansas A&M and then Washington University for Dental School.
During this time, two more children were born. His family of five moved
from Bergstrom Air Force Base in Austin, to Istanbul, Turkey then to
Lackland AFB in San Antonio.
Dr. Donald Steed was now an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and a full
colonel in the United States Air Force. His family was stationed at Ramey
AFB in Puerto Rico next, followed by Wright Patterson in Dayton, Ohio.
During this time Don also served on dental missions in Africa and the
Dominican Republic. In 1975, Don and Pauline returned to Texas where he
served as a professor and the coordinator of resident training at multiple
medical schools for over a decade before entering private practice in
Kerrville, Texas where he worked for the next 16 years.
Throughout his career he was awarded numerous merits and honors - the
USAF Meritorious Service Medal, the USAF Citation for Outstanding
Diagnostic Acumen, and the USAF Legion of Merit to name but a few.
Throughout his life he steadfastly served God, his family, his country and
those in need.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Pauline Steed; his children, Nancy
Blair and David, Scott Steed and Kristin, and Tim Steed and Margie; his
grandchildren Tanner Blair and Corrie, Tim Hockaday and Anna, Emily
Willson and Trey, Tyler Blair and Darian, Logan Steed and Ashley, Joshua
Steed and Dana; several great grandchildren; and his sister, Melva Morman
and Abb.

Onie Elizabeth "Betty" Gordon, 91, of Bentonville, Arkansas
passed away September 20, 2016 in Rogers.
Survivors include one son, David Gordon, of Indio, CA., one
daughter, Carol Kobe, of Bentonville, Arkansas, one sister,
Dorothy Ann Paschke, of Chatsworth, CA., and many
extended family members.
Funeral services will be October 3rd in Indio, CA and burial
will be at the National cemetery in Riverside, California.

Boyd Ray Hurtt, 79, of Sulphur Springs, Arkansas died Monday,
March 14, 2016 in Bentonville, AR. He was born November 23,
1936 in Mammoth Springs, AR to Roy and Grace McHenry Hurtt.
He worked with Cooper Communities for many years, and later was a
truck driver for Tyson where he would retire. His passion was his
horses and meeting at the coffee shop with friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Janice Hurtt; one
daughter, Jana Lierly; one granddaughter, Jodi Hurtt; one brother,
Eugiene Hurtt; and two sisters, Retha Frizzell and Lorine Young.
Boyd is survived by one son, Joey Hurtt of Sulphur Springs; four
grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Earl Hurtt; and
one sister, Freda Caldwell of Thayer, AR.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, Thursday, March 17, 2016

Graveside services will be 11:00 am, Friday, March 18, 2016 at
Benton County Memorial Park cemetery in Rogers.

Mark Alan Montgomery went home to our Lord at 5:55 p.m. on Friday,
March 4, 2016 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. He
had been battling brain cancer since July 2014.
Mark was born on October 31, 1970 to Josaphat L. & Rose Ann
(Woods) Montgomery in Chillicothe, Ross County, Ohio.
Mark is survived by his parents; two brothers, Joseph Patrick (Carrie)
Montgomery of Columbus, Ohio, and Michael David (Susan)
Montgomery of New Albany, Ohio; a very special niece, Abigail
Griffith; his beloved Chihuahua, Taco; Mark's partner in life, Michelle
Hamlin and daughters, Kelsey and Alexis of Bentonville, Arkansas, all
held a very special place in his heart. He’s also survived by numerous
aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mark attended Bishop Flaget High School but graduated from
Chillicothe High School in 1989. He and his best friend, Shawn Gray,
joined the U.S. Army, as Combat Engineers, in September 1989.
He studied Computer Science at Columbus State Community College and
Computer Science & Business at Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio
while working at WalMart in Grove City, Ohio.
Mark enjoyed working at WalMart for almost 20 years, where he was a
Senior Manager in Health and Wellness. During his time with WalMart,
Mark developed life-long friendships that he treasured.
A visitation will be held from 5 -7pm, Thursday, March 10, 2016, at
Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services, 2898 West Walnut, Rogers, AR,
72756, for Mark’s family/friends/co-workers.

Dorothy Jean Hughes

Dorothy Jean Hughes, 61, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April
26, 2016 at her home in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born
September 18, 1954 in Chicago, IL to George Joseph and Ethel L.
Grossinger Welbourn.
She was a long term employee of Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club home
office for over 37 years.
Dorothy was a faithful member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic
Church in Rogers for the past 30 years where she was involved in
many ministries, including the choir. Her two sons attended St.
Vincent De Paul Catholic School from Kindergarten through their
full grade school term.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Dorothy is survived by her husband of 40 years, Anthony Hughes;
two sons, Tony S. Hughes and wife, Chrissy, Benjamin S. Hughes;
her mother, Ethel Grossinger Stadler; one sister, Patricia Shaddox
and husband, Chick; two step-brothers, Ralph Stadler and wife,
Erdie, Jim Stadler and wife, Janice; one step-sister, Chari
Larimore and husband, Doug; two grandchildren, Alexis and
Sebastian; two nieces, Michelle and Amy; and many more nieces
and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6-10 pm, Thursday, May 5, 2016 in the Hall
at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers with the Rosary
Service.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon, Friday, May 6,
2016 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Monsignor David
