Donna Carlene Potter, 83, of Parker, Colorado and formally of
Bentonville, AR passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in
Parker. She was born March 17, 1931 in Kansas City, Kansas to
Walter Ray Ring and Ruby Cloe Deck Ring.
She served in both the Benton County Circuit Clerk's office and
Rogers Municipal Court before retiring in 1997.
She was preceded in death by both parents; brothers Edward,
Harold, and Loyd; and her husband Frank L. Potter, Jr.
Carlene is survived by one son, Douglas Potter and his wife,
Lesleigh of Aurora, CO; brothers Neil Ring and wife Carol of
Berkley, MI, and Harvey Ring and wife Connie of Kansas City,
MO; and one grandson, Seth Douglas Potter. She is also
survived by many nieces and nephews, and close friend, Carol
Cash, of Bentonville.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 7 at 11:00 a.m. at
Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel with burial following in Bethel
cemetery south of Gravette.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time.

Nancy Martin Solis
August 27, 1927 - April 4, 2015
Rogers, Arkansas
Nancy Martin Solis, 87, of Rogers, Arkansas went to be with her
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at
Jamestown Nursing and Rehab in Rogers.
She was born August 27, 1927 in Camaguey, Cuba to Francisco
Martin Martin and Joaquina Garcia Bermudez.
After bringing five of her seven young children to the United States,
she studied very hard and became a United States Citizen on
September 15, 1995.
She was a member of Southside Church of Christ and a faithful
witness for the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Isabel Garcia
and one brother, Domingo Martinez.
Nancy is survived by her seven children, Marco (Josue) Solis of
Cuba, Joel Solis and wife, Marta of California, Naila Pangburn and
husband Gary, of California, Martha Gregg and husband Dan of
Arkansas, Daniel Solis and wife Ruby Solis of Washington, Gabriel
Solis of Arkansas, Noel Solis and wife Jeanette of Arkansas; 11
grandchildren, Viviana Solis, Jimaguas Solis, Cecilia Solis, Anet
Solis, Joshua Gregg, Christopher Gregg, Emely Solis, Jasmine
Solis, Travis Solis, Tim Solis, James Solis and wife Trish; and two
great grandchildren, Sage Solis and Scallette Julie Anet.
She could truly tell her children, 'Follow me, as I follow Christ.' 1

Jeanne Patricia Palmer
November 26, 1947 - August 11, 2015

Jeanne Patricia Palmer, 67, of Rogers, AR passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, August 11, 2015 at
Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, AR after a
courageous two year battle with cancer. A twin, she was
born as Brenda Sue Stemen on November 26, 1947 in
Little Rock, AR and became the adopted daughter of
William Jackson and Genevie Ruby Qualls Hurst.
Although she was never able to find her birth parents, the
Stemens, her adopted parents provided nurture and love
that sustained her throughout life. Growing up in Rector
Arkansas with her identical twin sister Judy (Barbara
Lou) she learned the value of hard work and family
closeness in the cotton fields of northeast Arkansas. Her
father Senator William Hurst brought the girls to Little
Rock many times where they played in the State Capital
chambers when in session.
After spending most of her life and career in Austin
Texas working as office manager for IAS Claims, Inc she
retired to Rogers in 2011 to be closer to her twin sister,
Judy Hurst Huneycutt. They enjoyed travel, shopping
and watching movies together and were inseparable over
the last few years. They were so grateful for the time
they had together.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Missy
Palmer and her parents.
Jeanne is survived by two children, son, Scott Palmer and
Vonnie Vasquez of Austin, TX, daughter, Cynthia Brown
and husband, Steve Booth; two grandchildren, Marshall
and Jake; twin sister, Judy Hurst Huneycutt and husband,
Marc; her Rector High Girls; and many dear friends.
She unselfishly chose to donate her body to science.
A memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock pm Thursday
August 13, 2015 at Stockdale Moody Funeral Chapel to
celebrate her life. Chaplain John Pate will officiate.

Joan Virginia Brown

Joan Virginia Brown, 77, of Bella Vista, AR passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Mercy Hospital. She was born
January 14, 1938 in Ware, MA to Arthur Winfield and Luella
Arliene Most Bell.
Joan enjoyed crocheting and cooking. Above all, she loved
spending time with her family, her grandchildren and great-
grandchildren.
She retired from the Benton County Clerk’s office and was a
member of the Cross Church in Rogers.
Joan is survived by her husband of 58 years, Richard; two sons,
Arthur Brown and wife, Marianne of Lowell, AR and Alan Brown
and companion, Christal of Lafayette, IN; one daughter, Cindy
Ramos and husband, Dave of Pueblo West, CO; five
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7:30, Wednesday, August 5,
2015 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, August 6,
2015 at The Cross Church in Rogers with Jaime Lantzsch
officiating. Burial will be at 1:00 pm at the National cemetery.
Robert Lewis Cottrell

Robert Lewis Cottrell, 70, of Aurora, MO passed away Tuesday,
December 15, 2015 at the Veterans Home in Fayetteville, AR. He was
born October 7, 1945 to George Robert and Florence (Schreiner)
Cottrell of Galena, MO.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ida Margaret
Thurston.
Robert was in the US Army from 1966 - 1972 serving in Vietnam,
Korea & Germany. In his lifetime, he held several different jobs and
most recently had a lawn care business in Aurora. He enjoyed family
reunions and making friends.
Robert is survived by two sisters, Roberta Raymond of Marionville,
MO and Retha Sue Willis and husband, Phillip of Gentry, AR; one
brother, Paul Cottrell and wife, Annette of Billings, MO; one
brother-in-law, Bill Thurston of Monett, MO; two nieces, Kathy
Raymond and Taneil Adney and husband, Jason; three nephews, Kevin
Raymond and wife, Chelle; Craig Cottrell and wife, Crystal, and Brian
Thurston; and a host of cousins and friends.
There will be a private family ceremony.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors
Project or the American Cancer Society.
Jack Wesley Galbraith

Jack Wesley Galbraith, Jr. 59, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away peacefully
Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Circle of Life Legacy Village in
Bentonville, Ark. He was born November 9, 1955 in Rockaway Beach, New
York to Jack Wesley Galbraith, Sr. and Geraldine (Geri) Russell Galbraith.
Jack graduated from Palo Duro High, Amarillo, TX in 1973 where he excelled
in athletics and received a football scholarship to Baylor University.
In the summer of 1976, Jack met his future wife, Janet, at Amarillo Jr. College
in Amarillo, TX. Shortly after marriage, Jack took on his first ministry as a
youth pastor at Canyon Christian Church, Canyon TX. Over the next 13
years, Jack was blessed with his three children (Jacque, Jim, and Judson), as
well as three other ministries: First Christian Church, DeLeon, TX, Oakdale
Christian Church, Amarillo, TX and Southwest Park Christian Church,
Abilene, TX.
Jack moved his family to Rogers, AR in 1993, and accepted a position as the
Lead Pastor of Rogers Christian Church where he faithfully served for 19
years.
Jack valued family, life, but most of all his relationship with Jesus Christ. His
hobbies included sports, duck hunting, dog training and anything to do with
being outdoors.
Jack is survived by his wife of 37 years, Janet Galbraith; two sons, Jim
Galbraith and wife, Taylor of Rogers, Judson Galbraith and wife, Rachel of
Tulsa, Okla; one daughter, Jacque Cook and husband, Darel of Bartonville,
Texas; his mother, Geri Galbraith of Grand Prairie, TX; one sister, Donna
Galbraith Potts and husband, Alan of Arlington, TX; one brother, John
Galbraith and wife, Pandi of Grand Prairie, TX and 7 grandchildren,
Mckenna, Savannah, Kennedy, Jackson, Everlee, Harper, Sawyer and one due
in early spring that he was eagerly waiting to hold and love.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at
Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers.
Funeral services will be at 12 Noon, Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Grace
Point Church of Northwest Arkansas, 1201 McCollum Drive in Bentonville
with the Reverends Ron Carter and Vance Eubanks officiating. Burial will be
private at Oak Grove cemetery.
Helen L. Hager

Helen Leona Hager, 104, died peacefully Thursday, December
25, 2014 at 11:41 P.M. in Bradford House Nursing Home,
Rogers, Arkansas surrounded by her family. Helen was born on
September 6, 1910 in Brooklyn, IL to Emil and Sophia (Reese)
Bonjour.
She married
George Hager on May 26, 1934. Survived by son,
Theodore Hager; son-in-law, Howard Clary, 9 grandchildren, 26
great-grandchildren and 21 great-great grandchildren.
Predeceased by parents; brother and sister-in-law; husband;
daughter, Beverly (Hager) Clary.
A Graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 12,
2015, in Arlington Memorial cemetery, Rockford, IL with Pastor
Dan Herman officiating.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, February
5, 2015 in the Chapel at First United Methodist Church in
Rogers with Pastor David Bentley officiating. Local
arrangements by Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services.
