Robert Edward 'Bob' May, of Bella Vista, Arkansas passed away May
19, 2015 in Rogers, AR. He was born January 29, 1936 in Temple Texas
to Robert Melvin May and Lucy Gibbons May. He was raised in Dallas
Texas and attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated from
SMU.
He spent many years of his adult life working for Texas Industries (TXI);
he started as a lab tech and finished his career with TXI in the boardroom.
After his extended career there, Bob spent many years as a management
consultant, and spent his final working years as General Manager of
Beaver Lake Ready Mix Concrete. Bob was of the "Old School' his life
was dedicated to hard work, family and faith. An abject professional, he
would only accept a best effort and he relished a challenge. His favorite
saying was "If it was easy, monkeys could do it.'
Most of all, he will be remembered for his innate sense of fairness and
equality. He was a passionate outdoorsman and loved the mountains and
all types of animals.
He is predeceased by parents Robert and Lucy May and one sister, Mary
Kate.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 25 years, Ann, Pearce
May; two sons, Kevin May and wife, Peggy of Richmond TX, Lance May
and wife, Tina of Millheim, TX; two daughters, Catherine Wellman and
husband, Doc of Palmer AK, Kelli Drost of West Monroe LA and one
brother, Daniel May of Greenville TX.
Pappy will be especially missed by his ten grandchildren who have
benefited by his and Ann’s tireless work by having their college educations
funded by his vision. His legacy is Tyler May, Kelsey May, Reilly Rice,
Hunter May, Jackson May, Reagan Rice, Parker Davidson, Will Davidson,
Caroline Drost and Quinn Rice.
He will be missed by all those who had the luck of knowing him.
In lieu of flowers, we ask you to donate your time or treasure to your local
SPCA in his name.

Alma Rea Perkins

Alma Rea Perkins, 78, of Centerton, AR passed away Saturday,
September 12, 2015 at Circle of Life Legacy Village in
Bentonville, AR. She was born February 21, 1937 in Gravette,
Arkansas to Perry Albert Phillips and Susie Irene Hoke Phillips.
She was a much loved and respected employee of the Decatur
School System for over forty years and the 'Alma Perkins
Library' is a lasting tribute to her time there.
Alma had a great love for the Lord and was an active member of
New Hope Assembly of God in Rogers. She taught Sunday school
and was a great supporter of missions through the years.
She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, Ross Perkins;
two daughters, Rhonda Weeks and husband, Terry, of Tulsa, OK,
Joni Thomas and husband, Mike of Rogers; one brother, Byron
Phillips and wife, Phyllis of Bella Vista, AR; four grandchildren,
Robyn Foster and husband, Keith of Richardson, TX, Ryan
Thomas and wife, Courtney of Bentonville, Ashley Hagan and
husband, Aaron of Rogers, Kyle Weeks of Dallas, TX; and eight
great-grandchildren, Owen Foster, Ari Foster, Eva Foster, Seth
Foster, Aden Hagan, Archer Hagan, Eila Thomas and Everett
Thomas.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8pm, Monday, September 14,
2015 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, September 15,
2015 at New Hope Assembly of God with Pastor James Longmate
officiating. Burial will follow at the Decatur cemetery.

Addison 'Addy' Kate Sedlacek, 21 months,
passed away August 6, 2015 at Arkansas
Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, AR. She
was born October 27, 2013 in Bentonville,
AR to Kevin Michael and Julie Brigance
Sedlacek.
She was such a beautiful little girl with the
most gorgeous blue eyes and a smile to
match. She was full of life and energy and
always happy.
Addy Kate is survived by her parents, Kevin
and Julie Sedlacek; one sister, Ava Sedlacek;
one brother, Jacob Sedlacek; paternal
grandparents, Mike and Cathy Sedlacek of
Littlerock, CA; maternal grandparents, Mack
and Sharon Brigance of Booneville, AR and
several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Kristine Marie Weaver, 72, of Bella Vista, Arkansas passed away February 7, 2015 in Springdale, Ark. She was born August 26, 1942 in
Des Moines, Iowa to John W. Kroger and Helyn L. Petersen Kroger.
She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Bentonville.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Kristine was also preceded
in death by two very special loves, first husband, Harold
Kothenbeutel, her second husband, Thomas Weaver.
Kristine is survived by her daughter, Cydney Jane Willard and
husband, Chuck; grandchildren, Andrew Willard and Eleanor Hoeger,
Matthew and Lisa Willard, Zachary and Heidi Willard, and great-
granddaughter, Hannah Elizabeth Sutton. Brother, Dennis Kroger and
wife, Pat, sisters, Lee Haupert, Margie Estes and husband, Ed; and
many loved family and friends.
A celebration reception honoring Kristine’s life will follow the
5:00 pm service Saturday, March 14, 2015 at All Saints Episcopal
Church, in Bentonville, AR.
A memorial Service was held in Marshalltown, Iowa on Saturday
February 21, 2015 at St Paul's Episcopal Church with burial
following the service.
Memorials may be made in honor of Kristine Weaver to All Saints
Episcopal Church Building Fund or The Salvation Army, in lieu of

Glenda Mae Wise, 74, of Rogers, Ark. passed away Thursday,
January 22, 2015 at Circle of Life Hospice Home at Legacy
Village. She was born May 9, 1940 in Center, Ark. to Robert L.
Hyslip and Maurine (Dawson)Hyslip.
As a life-long member of the Church of Christ, she spent her last
years as a member of Bella Vista Church of Christ where she had
many Sisters and Brothers in Christ.
Glenda married
Alfred B. Wise in 1958, and had 33 blissful years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, and her parents.
Glenda is survived by her son, Tim Wise and wife, Rita of
Rogers, Ark; four grandchildren, Greg Wise and fiancé, Amanda
Springer, Brandon Knox, Grant Wise, and Ashley Wise; two
great-grandchildren, Bridgit Wise and Parker Wise; a sister, Linda
Drane and husband, Jack of Ash Flat, Ark; a brother, Bobby
Hyslip and wife, Brenda of Bentonville, Ark. and a close friend
and cousin, Sara Higginbottom.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January
26, 2015 at Bentonville City cemetery with Pastor Randall
Caselman officiating.

Helen Lou Rateliff Holt, 82, of Bentonville, Arkansas passed
away November 22, 2015 in Bentonville. She was born July 18,
1933 in Patmos, Arkansas to Lester and Nedra Kent.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Forney Holt; her
parents; one brother, Sonny Kent, one sister, Kay Thornton, and
one grandson, Hunter Sewell.
Helen is survived by three sons, Charles Rateliff and wife
Brenda of Bentonville, Ronnie Rateliff of Bentonville and
Danny Rateliff and wife Rachael of Texarkana; one daughter,
Sharan Hicks of Bentonville; eleven grandchildren, Mathew
Rateliff, Michael Rateliff, Shelly Avaritt, Amber Glover,
John-Kent Hicks, Rachael Rateliff, Ryan Rateliff, Zach Rateliff,
Stephen Brown, Shelby Brown, Shawn Brown and twelve
great-grandchildren.
Mrs Helen was an ambassador for the Lord, having taught
Sunday school at First Baptist Church in Hope most of her life,
served as church hostess, sang in the choir and traveled with
Crusade for Christ.
She was an ambassador for Hope, as she was a watermelon
promoter, and volunteer at the Clinton Foundation. Mrs Helen
was a naturally graceful dancer and taught many in tap, jazz, and
ballet.
Visitation will be tonight from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Herndon
Pharr Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 24,
2015 at Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home in Hope, Arkansas with
the Rev. Stan Parris officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia
cemetery in Patmos, Arkansas.
Mary Sue Carney

Mary 'Sue' Carney, 65, of Rogers, Ark. passed away Saturday, May
02, 2015 at Circle of Life Legacy Village in Bentonville, Ark. She was
born March 16, 1950 in Amarillo, Texas to George Wesley and Alma
Ruth Tomberlin Hughes.
She felt fortunate to travel the world and volunteer with the Air Force
in Family Services for 20 years and then to work in Air Force
personnel for another 12 years before moving to Northwest Arkansas.
Sue worked for the County Clerk in voter registration and retired from
the Benton County Treasurers office in 2011.
Sue was an amazing, intelligent, giving woman who loved life and her
family with all her heart. She was a delightful wife, mother,
grandmother, sister and friend, and freely gave herself to others.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, George
Wesley Hughes, Jr., Wesley Scott and two sisters, Pat Archuleta and
Louise Payne.
Sue is survived by her dear husband of 30 years, Mike Carney; two
sons, Robert W. Franklin and wife, Chris of Canyon, TX, Richard E.
Franklin and wife, Nichole of Hale Center, TX; one daughter, Rebecca
McKittrick of Omaha, NE; one sister, Corkey Holt of Beaumont, TX; 8
grandchildren, Skylar, Dalton, Danielle, Ryan Ricky, Keri, Ryanna, and
Matthew; 3 great-grandchildren, Brylea, Jaxon and Dixie and many
dear friends.
A celebration of her life will be at 10:00 am, Monday, May 11, 2015
at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel in Rogers with the Rev. David
Knox officiating.
