Charlene Cotner Griffin, 74, of Vivian, LA passed away Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006 in Vivian, La.
She was born Aug. 29, 1932 to the late Jake and Mary Jane Cassinger Cotner in Henrietta, OK and is also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Cotner and a grandson Larry Dorn.
Survivors include her daughters; Jeannie Roberts of Cabot and Wanda Redding of Conway, sisters; Wanda Holbrook of Shreveport, LA and Glenda Vance of Russellville, a brother Ron Cotner of Moss Point, MS as well as six grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral Services were Friday at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro Larry Burton officiating.
Interment followed in Bayou Meto cemetery in Jacksonville.

Lucille Brooks
Lucille Brooks, 87, of Little Rock died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006.
Survivors include her children Dan Jr. Eagle and wife Kathy of Topeka, Kan., Henry L. Eagles and wife Sylvia, Morsie Eagles and wife Gwendolyn, Johnny Eagles and wife Chinester, Robert L. Eagles and wife Donna, Benjamin Eagles, Gladys Anthony and husband Troy, and Mary L. Eagles all of Little Rock, and Estella Dodson of Lonoke.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 4, at Lewis Street Church of Christ in Little Rock.
Arrangements were by Superior Funeral Home Services in North Little Rock.
Eleanor Johnson
Eleanor Marie Johnson, 60, of Scott died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006.
She was a former teacher in the Carlisle School System.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years Osborn Johnson; one son; two daughters; two brothers; and four sisters.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 6, at Toltec Baptist Church with burial in Keo cemetery.

Roy L. Everitt
Roy L. Everitt, 58, of Jacksonville died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Everitt; children April Reaves and husband Winford, and Greg Everitt and wife Weindy; three grandsons all of Jacksonville; and brother Troy Everitt, of Cabot.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 3, at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel.
Entombment will be in Chapel Pine Mausoleum in Jacksonville.

Addie Moody
Addie Mae Brown Moody, 84, of Little Rock died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006.
She was a retired employee from the State Health Department and also Ampi and Borden Dairy.
She is survived by her daughter Jackie Ann West of Lonoke; son Troy Moody and wife Judy of El Dorado; daughter Billy Jean Lynch of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and brother Raymond Brown and wife Ethel of Little Rock.
A graveside funeral service was held Monday, Nov. 6, at Roselawn Memorial Park with Roller-Drummond Funeral Home assisting.
Carl W. Ricketts
Carl W. Ricketts, 73, of Conway died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006.
He was retired from Wal-Mart Distribution Center and an Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his sisters Vernell Blakslee and Jane Bradley; and brothers Lawrence and Bill Ricketts.
He is survived by his sisters Norman Boen of Kansas City, Mo., Alice Treadway of Cabot, Jeannie Smith of Lamar, Barbara Freoling of North Little Rock and Georgia Hale of Bald Knob; and brother Robert Ricketts of Fort Smith.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 11, at Cabin Creek Baptist Church in Clarksville.
Cremation arrangements are by Roller McNutt Funeral Home Conway.
Thomas Beazley
Thomas Alonzo Beazley, 81, of Ward, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2006.
He served with the Marines during WWII and was a member of the VFW in Jacksonville.
He is preceded in death by his parents Lonnie D. and Marlowe C. Simpkins Beazley, and son John Thomas Beazley.
Survivors include his daughter Christine B. Long and husband Robert of Ward; sisters Agnes Moore of California, Marie Collison of Jacksonville, and Irene Garland of Cabot; brother Edward Beazley of Jacksonville; and one grandson.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home.
S. Raymond Archer
S. Raymond Archer, 79, of Beebe died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006.
He served in the U.S. Navy and Air Force during World War II, attended Arkansas State Teachers College, and spent his career in administrative and supervisory positions.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years Wanda Jackson Archer; daughter Abigail Archer of Honey Brook, Pa.; sons Ray Archer, Jr., of Norcross, Ga., Brad Archer and wife Ami of Greensboro, N.C.; sisters Minnie Chivers and Lou Ellen Beatty both of Lonoke, Norma Jean Morris and husband Edward of Keo; and brother Kenneth Archer and wife Linda of Sheridan.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 5, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.

Christy (Jones) Flynn, 34, of Little Rock died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006.
She was a secretary for the IRS, a member of East Union Missionary Baptist Church, and the order of the Eastern Star #524.
She is survived by her husband Bryan Flynn; son Tyler Flynn; parents Steve and Donna (Sizemore) Jones all of East End; brothers Justin Jones and wife Angella of Bryant and Shane Jones and wife Shannon of East End; sister Sherrie Stone and husband Eric of Albany, Ga.; father and mother-in-law Carroll and Linda Flynn of East End; brothers-in-law Jerry Flynn and wife Kathy of Cabot and Tony Flynn and wife Jennifer of Nashville, Tenn.; and grandmother Polly Flynn of Sherwood.

Lois R. Pfeiffer
Lois Rush Pfeiffer, 89, of Little Rock died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006.
She was a retired Education Secretary from the North Little Rock School District and a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jimmy and Lula Rush and husband Carl A. Pfeiffer.
Survivors include her daughter Jeanette Beaty and husband John of Carrollton, Texas; son Jim Pfeiffer and wife Leslie of Little Rock; and sister Jean Chudy of Carlisle.
A graveside service was held Thursday, Nov. 2, at Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Tomazene Howell
Tomazene Olita Howell, 83, of Cabot died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006.
She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro for 37 years and a member of the First Baptist Church of Cabot for the last five years.
She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and also a member of the Beebe Business and Professional Women’s Club.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Merle Thompson, and Maurice Thompson of Jonesboro, and J.W. Thompson of Paragould; and sister Rebecca Childress of Jonesboro.
She is survived by her husband Ernest Howell of Cabot; children Samuel Ernest and Jo Howell of Cabot, Juliana and Mike Coleman of North Little Rock, and Ronnie Allen and Lynne Howell of Memphis, Tenn.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters Reba Shivley of Kennett, Mo., Anna Hudgins of Paragould, Sammye Rottluff of Hot Springs Village, and Martha Jumper of Paragould; and brother Homer Thompson of Jonesboro.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, Nov. 1, at First Baptist Church of Cabot.
A private burial was held at Arkansas State Veterans cemetery in North Little Rock.
