Alice C. Brooks
Alice C. Brooks, 100, of Camden died Sunday, June 25.
She was a member of Maul Road Church of Christ and was retired from International Paper Company’s Bag-Pak Division.
She is survived by her son, Andrew C. Brooks Jr. of Guthrie, Okla.; daughters Juanita Franklin and Virginia Dunn, both of Camden, and Maxine Brooks of Murfreesboro; nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 29, at Maul Road Church of Christ with burial in Memorial Park cemetery.
Bobby Doyle Sled
Bobby Doyle Sled, 64, of Crossett died Monday, June 26.
He was retired from Georgia Pacific after 44 years and a member of South Main Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Tullos Sled of Crossett; son Greg Sled of Cabot; brother James Sled of Crossett; sister Maxie Smith of Gary, Ind.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 29, at South Main Baptist Church.
Interment followed at Hickory Grove cemetery.

Jo Anne Anderson
Jo Anne Anderson, 70, of Keo, died on Tuesday, June 27.
She is survived by her son, Jimmy Anderson of Keo; brother Bob Smothers of Lonoke; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 29, at Roller-England Funeral Home Chapel.
A private family burial was to be held at a later date.
The family requests that memorials be made to a charity or organization of the donor’s choice.
Tanna Alycia Farrar
Tanna Alycia Farrar, 53, of Lonoke died Monday, June 26.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Farrar of the home; sons Jerry Howard of Lonoke and Brad Andrews of Justice, Ill.; daughter Kelly Howard of Alamosa, Colo.; brother Gary Aucoin of Galveston, Texas; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 30, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Coy ‘Buddy’ Strobel
Coy 'Buddy' Strobel, 83, of Lonoke died Wednesday, June 28.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Moss Strobel of Lonoke; sons Bobby and Stephen Strobel, both of Lonoke, Larry Strobel of Greenbrier and Carl 'Jigger' Thatcher of North Little Rock; brother Franklin Strobel of Bald Knob; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 30, at the North Little Rock Funeral Home chapel.
Burial was in the Arkansas Memorial Gardens.
Donald H. Berry
Donald H. Berry, 65, of Little Rock, died Wednesday, June 28.
He was a member of Oak Park Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Berry; sons Don Berry Jr. and Ricky Berry, both of Little Rock; daughter Tracy Wood of Bryant; stepdaughter Tracy Cude of Fayetteville; stepson Rusty Wilkerson of Cabot; brother Wayne Berry of Little Rock; sister Charlotte Thompson of Little Rock; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 1, at Oak Park Baptist Church.
Burial followed at Pinecrest cemetery.

Vivian S. H. Sowell
Vivian Sally Herlong Sowell, 86, of Kershaw, S.C., died Friday, June 30.
She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and retired from Clemson Extension Food and Nutrition Service.
Survivors include her children, Carol C. Reeves of York, S.C., Paula S. Gardner of Lancaster, S.C., William B. Craine of Austin, and N. Pat Sowell of Florence, S.C.; sisters Lucille Anderson of Timmonsville, S.C., Margaret Checinski of Columbia, S.C., and Arrie Ruth Tisdale of West Columbina, S.C.; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 3, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

James Alton Curry, 81, of Lonoke, died Friday, June 30.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Ella Mae Curry of Lonoke; children Larry Curry of Kingwood, Texas, Donna Hall of Pasadena, Texas, Mary Harrell and Henrietta Odom, both of Deer Park, Texas, Dickie Burgess and Glenda Allison, both of Lonoke; siblings Junior Curry of Lonoke, Betty Parker of Hamilton, Ruby Johnson of Rockwall, Texas, and William Curry of Benito, Texas; 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 1, at Boyd Chapel, with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Sheila A. P. Bullock
Sheila Ann Pruitt Bullock, 52, of Beebe, died Saturday, July 1.
She is survived by her son, Zachary Bullock; daughter Kelly Bullock; and mother Lillian Malcom Pruitt, all of Beebe; siblings Bartis Pruitt of Little Rock, Dewey Pruitt of Cabot, Jean Mulholland of Fort Worth, Texas, and Charles and Ronnie Pruitt, both of Beebe; and one grandson.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 3, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Antioch cemetery.
Inez Capps Keener
Inez Capps Keener, 95, of Cabot died Saturday, July 1.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cabot.
She is survived by her son, Buck Keener of Cabot; sister Ruby Garrett of Texas; three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, at the Cabot Funeral Home chapel, with burial to follow at Mt. Carmel cemetery.
Charles Gentry Sr.
Charles E. Gentry Sr., 80, of Lonoke died Sunday, July 2.
Survivors include his wife, Anne Bell Felton Gentry; son Charles 'Bubba' Gentry Jr.; daughter Brenda Canterberry; brothers George Gentry and Ralph Gentry, all of Lonoke; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 4, at Concord United Methodist Church with interment in Concord cemetery.

Mary A. Martineau
Mary Anna Martineau, age 96, died June 28, 2006.
She was a member of Panola Missionary Baptist Church and was retired from Franklin Electric.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband Johnny Martineau; three sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were 10 a.m. Saturday, July 1, at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel, Lonoke.
Burial was in Concord cemetery.
Charles E. Decker
Charles Edward Decker, 63, of Cabot, died Thursday, June 29.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of Parkway Place Baptist Church in Little Rock and was employed by Honeywell International, traveling the world working on business jets owned by entertainers, business corporations and kings.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Decker of Cabot; son Chris Decker of Coffeyville, Kan.; daughter Cynthia Richardson of Ward; sister Oma Lea Beckham of Mountain View; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 3, at First Baptist Church in Mountain View.
Burial was in Flatwoods cemetery, also in Mountain View.

Forrest H. Williams, 85, of Cabot died Thursday, June 29.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 3, at Old Austin Methodist Church with burial at Sumner cemetery.
Hattie Marie Isbell
Hattie Marie Isbell, 90, of Carlisle died Saturday, July 1. She was a member of Hamilton Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Bill Holden, and daughter Virginia Cloud, both of Carlisle; brothers Floyd Churchwell of Carlisle and J.W. Churchwell of Bentonville; sisters Rose Felton of Lonoke and Betty Coclasure of Arkadelphia; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 3, at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Humnoke.
Interment followed at Hamilton cemetery.
