Helen Bartlett Trout, 90, of Fort Smith, died January 26, 2005 in Fort Smith. She was a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sisters, Betty Bartlett of Fort Smith and Freda Linhart of Fort Smith; a sister in law Norma Bartlett and two great nephews, Bobby and Darin Person. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Miles Trout.
Funeral Service will be Friday, January 28, 2005 at 1:00 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the U.S. National cemetery of Fort Smith all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Geneva Bracken Oliver
Geneva Bracken Oliver, 88, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away January 25, 2005 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She worked with the "Rosie Riveters" industry in California during WWII. She was the retired owner of The Point Liquor Store.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2005 at Center Valley cemetery in Bloomer, Arkansas under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.
She is survived by her brother:Virgil Bracken of Fort Smith and Ruth Egar of Fort Smith and many nieces and nephews.
Family will visit with friends Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home.

Donna Kaye Hayes
Donna Kaye Hayes, 60, of Barling, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2005 in Fort Smith. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Barling, and the former owner of D&D; Video.

She is survived by her husband Darrell of Barling; two daughters: Shelley and her husband Gerald Stringer of Ft. Riley, Kansas; Sarah Mae and her husband Robert Hayes of Cedar Park, Texas; two sons: Darrell "Max" Hayes, II and his wife Traci of Mt. Burg, Arkansas and Ricky Don Hayes of New Richmond, Wisconsin; eight grandchildren: Ricky Don Hayes II, of Powell, Wyoming; Devin Hayes of Powell, Wyoming; Jordan Shores of Mt. Burg, Arkansas; Braylyn Hayes of Mt. Burg, Arkansas; Paxtyn Hayes of Mt. Burg, Arkansas; Cody Adams of Ft. Riley, Kansas; Brandi Stringer of Ft. Riley, Kansas; Makayla Hayes of Cedar Park, Texas; one brother: Bobby Shields and his wife Daryl of Shreveport, Louisiana.
Pallbearers will be Steve Hayes, Brad Stockburger, Ronnie Gregory, Troy Gregory, Monte Breeden and Kevin Linton.

Mary Elizabeth Earnhart
Mary Elizabeth Earnhart, 83, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2005, at Providence St. Joseph's Medical Center in Burbank, CA from complications of Alzheimer's Disease. She and her husband, former State Senator Milt Earnhart, had been on an extended visit with their daughter and granddaughter.
Mary was born October 20, 1921 in Cincinnati, Ohio. After graduating from Mount St. Joseph's Academy, she attended dancing classes with Doris Day, Vera Ellen and others. She did professional acting while attending Shuster-Martin School of Drama where she won a Tyrone Power scholarship. She then appeared with Mr. Power on Kate Smith's Radio Network Program. Mary met her future husband at Shuster-Martin in 1939 and they married
in June 1943 during Milt's army service at nearby Camp Crowder.
In May 1950, Mary, Milt, their children, and Mary?s parents Edward and Julia Robben, moved to Fort Smith. Mary was very active in the community as a kindergarten teacher, Brownie and Girl Scout leader and in Little Theatre, acting and behind the scenes. At a recent ceremony, Mayor Baker presented Mary with an honorary proclamation recognizing her work as a director for the Children's Theatre.
Her husband Milt, daughter Anne Rifat of Hollywood, CA, sons Tom of Fort Smith and David of Laughlin, NV, grandchildren Rachel and Matthew Rifat, Kristen Wilkerson, Bryan Earnhart, Shannon Wells, and four great grandchildren survive her.
Rosary will be said on Thursday, February 3rd at 7:00 P.M. at Edwards Funeral Chapel.
Mass will be held on Friday, February 4th at 10:00 A.M. at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will be at Holy Cross cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Flora G. Wood, 77, of Fort Smith passed away January 28, 2005 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband Haskel Wood.
Funeral Service will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 31, 2005 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints with burial at Forest Park cemetery in Fort Smith.
She is survived by one daughter: Robyn Wood of Fort Smith; two sisters; Joan Shelby of Fort Smith and Zella Richards of Fort Smith.

Bradley Haren
Bradley Eugene Haren, 52, of Fort Smith, beloved husband and father passed away on Saturday, January 29th in Fort Smith. He was born January 31, 1952 in Corona, California. He graduated from the Edgewood High School in West Cavina, California in 1971. Brad worked in Lumber in Johnsondale, California and Salt Lake City, Utah. He married
Sandra Lynn Phillips of Fort Smith in June of 1976 and they moved back to Fort Smith in 1978.
Brad was a former employee of the Okla Homer Smith Company, Fort Smith Table and Chair, and Mac Steel Corp. He has been an employee of the Whirlpool Corporation in Fort Smith for the past 10 years.
He is survived by his wife Sandra of the Home, three children, Samuel Eugene, Phillip Charles and Victoria Lynn Haren all of the Home; his mother Eleanor Haren and a sister Sandra Hall both of Tavares, Florida; and his father and mother in law Howard and Patricia Phillips of Fort Smith. He was preceded in death by his father Charles William Haren who passed way on April 4, 2001.
Funeral Services will be graveside at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, February 3, 2005 in the Forest Parks cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home and officiated by the Reverend Charles Rogers. The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Thursday Morning from 9:00 - 11:00 AM.
Bob Del Clark
Bob Del Clark, 68, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Friday, January 28, 2005 at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center. He was a member of Goddard United Methodist Church and a salesman for Simple Simon's Pizza.
Bob Clark was a loving and supportive family man. His joy came from watching his children and then grandchildren in school and sport activities. He was the picture of optimism-never having anything but a smile on his face and saying "everythings great." He was loved dearly and will be missed very much. We are thankful our "Papa" is rejoicing in heaven with the Lord.

He is survived by his wife Sandy; two sons: Stan Clark and his wife Mendy of Fort Smith and Ken Clark and his wife Christy of Muldrow, Oklahoma; six grandchildren: Lindsey Clark of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Jenna Clark of Chicago, Illinois; Maegan Clark of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Tyler Clark of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Kensey Clark and Seth Clark of Muldrow, Oklahoma.
And close family friends Dale Hart and his wife Ireta.

Kenneth Larry King
Kenneth Larry King, Sr., 52, passed away of natural cause in his home on January 27th , 2005 in Mulberry, Arkansas. He was born November 12, 1952 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Thelma and Orville King. He worked for Riverside Furniture and other plants in the Fort Smith area. Kenneth graduated from Northside High School and was a member of the Army National Guard. He was a devout Christian and a charter member of Windsor Park Baptist Church.
Kenneth enjoyed all outdoor and sporting activities. Most of all he was proud of his four children and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Gwen King, mother Thelma Truelove and stepmother Iva King.
He is survived by his father, Orville King of Fort Smith, a daughter Elizabeth King of Fort Smith; three sons: Kenneth King, Jr., and Daniel King of Fort Smith, Joshua King of Fayetteville; two sisters; Nancy Vandergriff of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Beverly Stallings of Fort Smith, Arkansas; two brothers Jim King of Fort Smith, and Virgil Maynard of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, three grandchildren: Skyler King, Jada King and Amara King all of Fort Smith and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 31, 2005 at South Pointe Baptist Church at Windsor Drive and Albert Pike with burial at Pleasant Grove cemetery in Abbott, Arkansas.
Family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at SouthPointe.

Dorothy Crabtree
Dorothy Crabtree,75, of Fort Smith passed away Thursday, January 27, 2005 in Fort Smith. She was of protestant faith.
Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2005 at New Hope cemetery in Spiro, Oklahoma under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
She is survived by her daughter: Linda Holmes of Lavaca, Arkansas and her sister Wanda Jackson of Fort Smith, Arkansas; one grandchild and two great grandchildren.
Kevin Cotton
Kevin Cotton, 13, of Van Buren, died Sunday, January 30, 2005 in a local hospital. He was a student at Central Middle School in Van Buren where he was a member of the Honor Club. Kevin had also attended Tate Elementary School in Van Buren. He was also a member of the Fort Smith Gun Club and enjoyed guitar, music, archery, guns, and also wanted to be a construction worker.
He is survived by his mother, Christine Cotton of the home; his father, Troy Cotton of Fort Smith; two sisters, Aubrey Clark of Fort Smith, Jayme Cotton of the home; two brothers, Curtis and Daryl of the home; paternal grandmother, "Dutch" Cotton of Fort Smith; paternal grandfather, J.D. Cotton of Fort Smith; maternal grandparents, Paula and Gary Clark of Tahlequah, OK; and his maternal great-grandmother, Freda Moore of Van Buren.
Funeral will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 3, 2005 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Gill cemetery in Van Buren.

Dana Belle Merscham
Dana Belle Merscham, 63, of Mountainburg, AR died Tuesday, February 1, 2005 in a local hospital. She was a Special Education Teacher for the Mountainburg School System, attended Pigeon Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Mountainburg and also worked as a waitress at Bill Barkley?s Drive-In in Alma.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby of the home; two step-daughters, Nancy Stover of Williamsburg, KS, Rebecca Merscham of Ottawa, KS; two sons, Bobby Nickoley of Techumseh, KS, Jamie Nickoley of Topeka, KS; one step-son, Ralph Merscham of Del Rio, TX; one brother, Larry Porter of Princeton, KS; four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 5, 2005 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren. Mrs. Merscham will be cremated and there will be no public viewing.

David Numan Woy, 41, of Fort Smith, died February 3, 2005 in Fort Smith.
He is survived by his mother Patricia Ingram of Fort Smith; three sisters, Anna Woy of Tucson, AZ; Sandra Woy of Fort Smith; and Tanya Christie of Fort Smith, AR.
