Bill R. Seabolt
Bill R. Seabolt, 68, of Uniontown died Sunday, Jan. 3, 1999, at his home.
He was a graduate of the University of the Ozarks, a Methodist, retired mathematics teacher at Van Buren Junior High School after 28 years, a three-time winner of the State Golden Gloves Championships, an inductee into the University of the Ozarks Hall of Fame, organized and operated the Crawford County Boxing Club, and served as Southwest Regional president and local and state secretary for the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Norma J. Seabolt, 67, who died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, one day prior to his death.
He is survived by five daughters, Carol Lynn Rebsamen of Atlanta, Ga., Deborah Crescenti of Wilmington, Ill., Karen Meachum of Duncanville, Texas, Katrinka Hurt of Altus, and Toni Grandon of Kibler; three sons, Billy K. Seabolt of Barling, R. Scott Hartley of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Donny Seabolt of Uniontown; one sister, Betty Childs of Winnsboro, La.; one brother, Robert E. Seabolt of Uniontown; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial in Macedonia cemetery near Uniontown.
Pallbearers were members of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Mrs. Carrie Spencer
Mrs. Carrie Spencer, 86, of Clarksville died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a Baptist and daughter of the late Luther and Lular Mays Thomas.
Survivors include her husband, Jesse Wayne Spencer; one daughter, Dean Grissom of Knoxville; one son, Ray Spencer of Dardanelle; two brothers, Archie Thomas of Waterloo, Iowa, and Hoyt Thomas of Swain; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, at the Mossville Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Young officiating.
Burial will be in Mossville cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Barry Grissom, Ernie Ward, Kevin Reynolds, Dennis Rocole, Brad Rocole, Arliss Woods, Steven Willis, and Jeff Noyes.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13.
Clarence William Freeman
Clarence William Freeman, 90, of Clarksville died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 1999.
He was a native of Newton County, son of the late John and Emma Jane Robinson Freeman, retired timber employee, and attended the Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Charles Holt of Lamar, and Pat Fitzgerald and Linda Lloyd, both of Clarksville; two sons, Fred Freeman and Charles Freeman, both of Clarksville; three brothers, Clifford Freeman of Clarksville, Dewey Freeman of Dayton, Ohio, and Corby Freeman of Concord, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Edward Parsons officiating. Burial was in Lamar cemetery.
Pallbearers were James Holt, Mike Holt, Jeff Holt, Kevin Lloyd, Roger Lloyd, and Tim Freeman.

Mrs. Ellen Kaye Johnson
Mrs. Ellen Kaye Johnson, 56, of Clarksville died Monday, Jan. 11, 1999, at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith.
She was a native of Peanut, daughter of the late Amos and Christine Kilgore Hill, former employee of Area Agency on Aging at Russellville, graduate of Ozark High School and attended the University of the Ozarks.
Survivors include her husband, Don H. Johnson; one son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Michele Johnson of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Hazel Evans of Choctaw, Okla., and Billie June Erickson of Fresno, Calif.; and two grandchildren, Nicole Johnson and Kristina Johnson, both of Jacksonville, Fla.
A memorial service for family members and close friends will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Usery officiating.
Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Mrs. Erla Snyder
Mrs. Erla Mae Snyder, 89, of Clarksville died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a native of Clarksville, daughter of the late James Ellis and Elizabeth Blaine McPherson Patterson, and widow of Joe E. Snyder.
She is survived by one daughter, Pamela Kaye McKee of Clarksville; two sons, James W. Self Jr. of San Diego, Calif., and Richard Snyder of Lamar; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Woodland cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, at Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Mrs. Helen L. Elkins
Mrs. Helen Lucille Elkins, 66, of Springdale died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999, at her home.
She was a native of Fayetteville, daughter of the late John Henry and Stella Bell Graham James, 1950 graduate of Huntsville High School, former resident of Perry, Ga., licensed cosmetologist, and a member of Robinson Avenue Church of Christ in Springdale.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Elkins; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Johnny Luker of Rogers and Demita and Nathaniel Sims of Perry, Ga.; one brother, Albert James of Springdale; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale with Gary Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Joyce cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Chip Reynolds, Marty Reynolds, Larry James, Randy James, Shannon Bowen and Hayden Scates.
Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Luker and Nathaniel Sims.
Mrs. Janelle E. Ball
Mrs. Janelle E. Ball, 62, of Springdale, formerly of Clarksville, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.
She was a native of Charleston and daughter of the late James Calvin and Ora Lucille Barnum Douglas.
She is survived by two sons, Mike Ball of Rogers and David Ball of Fayetteville; one brother, J. C. Douglas of Clarksville; and five grandchildren, Michael Loyd Ball of Fayetteville, Nathan Ball and Natasha Ball, both of Rogers, Teresa Mahavier of Denton, Texas, and Melissa King of Bentonville; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Robert Brown officiating. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
