Mrs. Leo (Johnie) Freeman Hobbs, 80, of Clarksville, Tenn., died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
She was a registered nurse, daughter of the late Finis Lee and Agnes Lund Freeman, widow of Jeff Hobbs, and former resident of Clarksville.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Hobbs Stewart of Clarksville, Tenn.; one son, Charles Glenn Hobbs of Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Eunice Davis and Marie Freeman, both of Dardanelle; one brother, Guy Freeman of El Dorado; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, at Roller-Cox Chapel with Rev. Jim Goodman officiating. Burial was in Hagarville cemetery.
Nephews served as pallbearers.
Leslie Kyle
Leslie Kyle, 90, died at his home in Daytona Beach, Fla.
He was a former resident of Coal Hill and Indianapolis, Ind., founder and president of Hydroponics, member of the Masons and Lions Club, and had been a real estate professional in Daytona Beach, Fla., since 1970.
Survivors include one son, Michael Kyle of Daytona Beach, Fla.; one daughter, Leslie Rouhselange of Port Orange, Fla.; two brothers, Joe Kyle of California and Chester Kyle of Texas; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at Holy Church of Christ in Holy Hill, Fla., with Wiley Lowe officiating.
Mrs. Mildred Lingar
Mrs. Mildred Lingar, 76, of Hartman died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, at her home.
She was born at Denning, daughter of the late Bert and Maude Shirley Hill, widow of Kenneth Lingar, and a member of the Coal Hill Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Melinda Walker of Hartman; one son, Kenneth Lingar of Hartman; two sisters, Wanda Taylor and Juanita Burns, both of Denning; and one grandson, Jeremy Lingar of Hartman.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, at the Coal Hill Assembly of God Church with Rev. Dade Kindrix officiating.
Burial will be in West Mount Zion cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Scott Taylor, Jimmy Joe Rofkahr, Michael Rofkahr, Wayne Lingar, Dane Lingar, and Roger Pannell.
Mrs. Nadine D. Stebbins
Mrs. Nadine Douthit Stebbins, 77, of Marietta, Ga., died Monday, Feb. 21, 2000, in Marietta, Ga.
She was a native of Hartman but moved to Marietta, Ga., from Johnson County in 1951, member of the First United Methodist Church in Marietta, Ga., where she was an honorary member of the Board of Stewards, the Josey Frey Circle and the Progressive Sunday School Class, and a member of the Cherokee Rose Garden Club in Marietta, Ga.
She is survived by two daughters, Charlene Nordholz of Powder Springs, Ga., and Ellen Stebbins of Doha Qatar; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25, at the First United Methodist Church in Marietta, Ga. Graveside services and burial were at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, at West Mount Zion cemetery near Hartman with Rev. Chris Rink officiating. Local arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Robert Joseph Rake
Robert Joseph Rake, 73, of Ozark died Monday, Feb. 21, 2000, in a Fort Smith hospital.
He was a native of Lawton, Okla., son of the late William and Myrtle Rake, former resident of Green Forest, U. S. D. A. inspector and a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary A. Moten Rake; three daughters, Renee Seago of Corrigan, Texas, Nancy Clarke of Lufkin, Texas, and Melinda Tybor of Wimberly, Texas; four stepsons, James Hill and Bill Hill, both of Clarksville, Dennis Hill of Ozark, and David Hill of Dardanelle; three stepdaughters, Mary Sue Petty of Little Rock and Shirley Davis and Sarah Halmes, both of Ozark; 21 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
Bruce E. Tannehill
Bruce Eugene Tannehill, 66, of Russellville, father of Donna Helms of Clarksville, died Saturday, March 4, 2000.
He was a son of the late Harold and Virginia Zimmer Tannehill, native of Norfolk, Neb., retired owner and operator of Sonic Drive In and Box Office Video in Russellville, former employee of Mo-Hawk Rubber Company in Helena, U. S. Army veteran, and was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Tannehill and Darrell Tannehill.
Survivors include one other daughter, Debbie Bilyeu of Russellville; three brothers, Roger Tannehill of Canton, Miss., Mike Tannehill of Mt. Ida, and Joe Tannehill of Indianola, Miss.; and one grandchild, Jalen Helms of Clarksville.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at Shinn Funeral Service Chapel in Russellville with burial in Old Baptist cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Roger Tannehill, Mike Tannehill, Joe Tannehill, Don Parker, Doug Reid, and Lee Lawrence.
Mrs. Frieda Groen
Mrs. Frieda E. Fenske Groen, 89, of Knoxville died Thursday, March 2, 2000, at Knoxville.
She was a daughter of the late Albert and Anna Orhmund Hintz, widow of Robert Fenske and George Groen, member of the Messiah Lutheran Church of Redwood City, Calif., and was preceded in death by three brothers, Elmer Hintz, Ruben Hintz, and Roy Hintz.
She is survived by two daughters, Norma Fenske Groen of Knoxville and Patricia Fenske White of South Dakota; three sons, Gene Robert Fenske and Russell Fredrick Fenske, both of Knoxville, and Jerry Leroy Fenske of Dallas, Texas; four sisters, Ella Miller, Ida Fenske, and Leona Backstrom, all of Nebraska, and Anita Nelson of Wyoming; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 9, at Howser-Fillmer Chapel in Norfolk, Neb., with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Norfolk, Neb.
Local arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Mrs. Janet H. Wright
Mrs. Janet Hallie Wright, 62, of Ozark died Monday, March 6, 2000, in Ozark Nursing Home.
She was born in Phoenix, Ariz., to Harold and Nelda Holden Holmsley, was a retired licensed practical nurse, and a member of Coal Hill First Baptist Church.
She is survived by two stepsons; one brother, Joe Holmsley of Hartman; three nephews; and two nieces.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 9, at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark with Rev. David Qualls officiating. Burial will be in Coal Hill cemetery
