Mrs. Margie Pauline Forrester, 77, of Clarksville died Saturday, July 29, 2000.
She was a member of Twin Oaks Baptist Church and Clarksville Lions Club, gospel singer and pianist, widow of Roy Forrester; and daughter of the late James Thurman and Addie Almeeda Battenfield Minor.
Survivors are one daughter and son-in-law, Linda Louise and Harry Ashmore of Clarksville; two sons, Randall Paul Forrester and Michael Royce Forrester, both of Clarksville; one sister, Betty Poynor of Newport; one brother, Earl Minor of Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Troy Vaughn, Rev. Vernon Bass, and Rev. C. M. Lewallen officiating.
Burial will be in Atkins cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be Terry Carson, Arthur Dercksen, Tracy Price, Robbie Jackson, Patrick Baker, and John Pledger.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Clarksville Lions Club.
Robert Gibson
Robert Gibson, 71, of Dover died Saturday, July 29, 2000, at his home.
A native of London, he was a son of the late Iverson and Lena Bocksnick Gibson, retired ConAgra Frozen Foods employee, a Christian, and preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Kay Gibson; one brother, Everett Harold Gibson; and two sisters, Beatrice Gibson and Louise Linker.
Survivors include his widow, Anna Belle Hendrix Gibson; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Glenda Gibson of Clarksville and Iverson and Linda Gibson of Dardanelle; one sister, Mary Utley of Lincoln, Neb.; one brother, Finis Gibson of Wichita, Kan.; three granddaughters, Crista Weber of Dardanelle, Brandi Gibson of Russellville, and Cara Gibson of Clarksville; one grandson, Brandon Gibson of Clarksville; four great-grandchildren; and 11 nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, at the Phoenix Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Hallum and Rev. Richard Falbo officiating.
Burial will be in Phoenix cemetery at Dover under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service of Russellville.

Thomas R. Hebert
Thomas Richardson Hebert, 68, of Knoxville died Tuesday, July 25, 2000, at his home.
He was born in Pasadena, Calif., son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Caroline Kentop Hebert, graduate of Fullerton (California) High School, Navy veteran, and was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Monica Born.
Survivors include his widow, Joan Cravens Hebert; two daughters, Phyllis Cleveland of Marble Falls, Texas, and Barbara Midel of Griffith, Ind.; two stepsons, Donald Wilson of North Fork, Calif., and Randall Largent of Sevierville, Tenn.; one sister, Betty Manning of Sacramento, Calif.; and 13 grandchildren.
The body was cremated.
Arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
William A. Campbell
William Allen Campbell, 72, of Route 1, London died Wednesday, July 26, 2000, at his home.
A native of Mt. Sterling, Iowa, he was a son of the late Milton J. and Marie Scotten Campbell, an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War, and a retired electric supervisor.
Survivors include his widow, Pauline Campbell; two daughters, Cynthia Schlagel of Fort Madison, Iowa, and Debbie Hudson of London; one son, William Campbell of West Burlington, Iowa; two sisters, Vivian Roberts of Milton, Iowa, and Pat Ash of Wapello, Iowa; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The body was cremated.

Alvin Hal Hollon
Alvin Hal Hollon, 65, of Springdale died Wednesday, July 19, 2000, at Springdale.
A native of Catalpa, he was a son of the late Albert Newton and Pearl Parlee Harderson Hollon, an electrical engineer for Tyson Foods, U. S. Navy veteran, member of the VFW where he served as post commander in El Paso, Texas, and was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Roberta Hollon.
Survivors include his widow, Karen Hollon; one son, Dale Hollon of Havana; two daughters, Barbara Hollon of Prairie Grove and Laura Whorton of London; four stepsons, Roy Walker, Randy Walker and Joe Thompson, all of Springdale and Robin Walker of Verona, Mo.; one brother, Argus (Ted) Hollon of Clarksville; one half-brother, Alvie Joe Hollon of Clarksville; one stepbrother, Larry Clark of Sun City, Calif.; two sisters, Letha Fleming of Anaheim, Calif., and Edna Rameriz of Clarksville; two half-sisters, Floy Dell Johnson of Salem, Ore., and Norma Sue White of Clarksville; three stepsisters, Nadine Whitehouse, Juanita Nicole and Shirley Pobursky; nine grandchildren; and seven step grandchildren.
Funeral was at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 22, at Backstrom - Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale with Rev. Doug Baskin officiating. Burial was in Bluff cemetery.

Clyde C. (Chic) Morgan
Clyde C. (Chic) Morgan, 93, of the Spadra Community died Tuesday, July 18, 2000. He was the son of the late Bascom and Mamie Ragon Morgan.
At fourteen, he started working in the coal mines, where he continued working for 33 years.
He coached the Spadra Miners baseball team and was a coach and referee for boxing for many years.
He served as chairman of the Johnson County Democratic Committee and was Township Committeeman. He was always active in local and state politics.
He was president of Spadra-Goosecamp Water Association, and on the committees to get natural gas, blacktop the road from Clarksville, and many other community projects.
He worked for the Department of Labor as a mine inspector for 18 years under the Faubus Administration and was on the committee to get the new Mills-Ahne bridge.
He was a member of Spadra Methodist Church, song leader, soloist, and taught Sunday school for over 55 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife and daughter, Nelle Hardin Morgan and Ruth (Boofie) Burnham.
Survivors are two daughters and two sons-in-law, Carolyn (Bojjie) and Richard Leisman of Maumelle and Rachel (Ba Ba) and Harold Johnson of Clarksville; one son and daughter-in-law, Clyde D. and Barbara Morgan of Clarksville; son-in-law, Larry Burnham of Fort Smith; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, July 21, at Spadra Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Rink and Rev. Bob Oden officiating. Mike Johnson and Richard Hardin of Little Rock were soloists and Steve Burnham was a speaker. Burial was at Shady Grove cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Steve and Pat Burnham, Doug and David Morgan, Eric Leisman, Mike and Grant Johnson, and Derek Disher.

Mrs. Edna Hook
Mrs. Edna Hook, 78, of Clarksville died Monday, July 24, 2000, at Lamar.
She was a daughter of the late Albert Louis and Ella Navara Schreiner, member of Grace Lutheran Church and the Missionary League, and was preceded in death by one sister, Nettie Harris; and two brothers, Alfred Schreiner and Ernest Schreiner.
Survivors include her husband, Charley Hook; one daughter, Carolyn L. Langlois of St. Louis, Mo.; two sons, Lanny C. Hook of Griffith, Ga., and Ronald H. Hook of Clarksville; two sisters, Ella May Wyllie of Columbia, Mo., and Margaret Rose Hoffman of Palo Verde, Calif.; one brother, Albert Schreiner Jr. of Long Beach, Calif.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 27, at Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. Derrell Kobs officiating.
