Barbara G. Gettle
Barbara G. Gettle, 53, of Clarksville died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2001, at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock.
She was a native of Pueblo, Colo., daughter of the late Russell Loyd and Anne Traini Burner, attended First Baptist Church, a Johnson County Republican Women volunteer, member of the Mustard Seed Board, and former child care director at First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, James Gettle; one daughter, Krista Gettle of Oakland, Calif.; two sisters, Donna DeSimone of Burnsville, N. C., and Michelle Fox of Modesto, Calif.; one brother, Russell Burner of Pueblo, Colo.; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Robert Brown officiating. The body was cremated. Arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Goldie Irene Rackers
Goldie Irene Rackers, 83, of Russellville, mother of Phyllis Boswell of Lamar, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, at her home.
A native of Elaton, Mo., she was a daughter of the late James W. (Willie) and Sarah Colvin Harris, widow of Anthony H. (Tony) Rackers and a member of St. John's Catholic Church where she was a former member of the Altar Society.
Survivors include one other daughter, Kathleen Austin of Russellville; three sons, Anthony Rackers of Jefferson City, Mo., William (Bill) Rackers of Owasso, Okla., and Michael Rackers of Germany; two brothers; two sisters, 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Rosary was at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, at Shinn Funeral Service. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, at St. John's Catholic Church with Rev. Ernest Hardesty officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Wesley, Bob Jacimore, Pete McNulty, Jerome Whitbey, David Yacko, and Eddie Woestman.

John Jude Muke
John Jude Muke, 58, of Clarksville died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2001, at his home.
He was a native of New Jersey, Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, and owner of Liberty Bail Bonding Company.
Survivors include his widow, Iris Muke; father, John J. Muke of Las Vegas, Nev.; and one sister, Michelle Muke of Las Vegas, Nev.
The body was cremated.
Arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Kathleen Taliaferro
Kathleen Taliaferro, 46, of Clarksville died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at her home.
Survivors include her husband, William Taliaferro; one daughter, Sally Dunn of Ozark; mother, Sally Sebastian of Ozark; and two sisters, Laurie Sebastian and Sandy Hoffman, both of Piscataway, N. J.
The body was cremated. Arrangements were under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
Leona M. Williams
Leona M. Williams, 88, of Clarksville died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, in Clarksville Retirement Center.
She was a native of Clarksville, daughter of the late Eli and Ollie Garner Clinton, and widow of Lawrence Williams.
She is survived by two daughters, Anna Lee Locklin of Rogers and Linda Hutcherson of Russellville; one son, Bob Williams of North Little Rock; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robbie Jackson officiating. Burial was in Oakland cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Danny Hutcherson, Jeff Nicholas, Brian Byrum, Billy Phelan, and Shelby Shook.
Honorary pallbearers were Leon Clinton, Bill Coats, and Larry Prescott.
Roscoe G. Acord
Roscoe G. Acord, 83, of Siloam Springs died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at Siloam Springs.
He was a former resident of Johnson County, son of the late William G. and Olevia Russell Acord, a member of the Church of Christ, and was preceded in death by his wife, Effie Davis Acord.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Jimmy James of Siloam Springs; two sisters, Thula Stamps of Brawley, Calif., and Bille Vanover of Merced, Calif.; six grandchildren, Donnie James of Springdale, Tammy Reed of Lincoln, Seree Goedecke of Kansas, Okla., Tina Lynch of Colcord, Okla., Tim James of Siloam Springs, and Joy Winningham of Watts, Okla.; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, at the Yale Church with Rev. Paul Hill and Wiley Davis officiating.
Burial was in Yale cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were G. W. Stewart, Billy Ray Acord, H. D. Benson, Terry Litterell, Wayne Johnson, and Glen Acord.
Honorary pallbearers were Ben Dawdy, Jason Dawdy, Larry Dawdy, T. L. Hill, Mark Lynch, Randy Goedecke, Phil Reed, Warren Winningham, and Jerry Birkhahn.
Anthony H. Rackers
Anthony H. (Tony) Rackers, 83, of Russellville, father of Phyllis Boswell of Lamar, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001, at Stella Manor Nursing Center.
A native of Taos, Cole County, Mo., he was a son of the late Bernard Joseph and Anna Christine Krummen Rackers, a retired foreman for International Shoe Company, member of St. John's Catholic Church, and a World War II veteran of the U. S. Air Force.
Survivors include his widow, Goldie Irene Rackers; one other daughter, Kathleen Austin of Russellville; three sons, Anthony Rackers of Jefferson City, Mo., William (Bill) Rackers of Owasso, Okla., and Michael Rackers of Germany; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Eula B. Warren
Eula B. Warren, 88, of North Little Rock, formerly of Clarksville, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2001.
She was the widow of Orville Warren and daughter of the late William G. and Fannie Stovall Laneer and was preceded in death by four brothers, W. Y. Laneer, John R. Laneer, George D. Laneer and Thelbert (Lynn) Laneer; and one sister, Letha Westover.
She was a retired office manager for Warren Lumber Company, a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, 53-year member of the Lydia Bible Class, member of the NLR Women's Club, Good Earth Garden Club and NLR Council of Garden Clubs.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in law, Pat and Ralph Johnson; three grandchildren and one grandson-in-law, Michael Warren Johnson, Leigh Anne and Michael Shipman, and Amy Carole Johnson; and one great-grandchild, Tyler Austin Shipman.
Funeral was at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2001, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home of North Little Rock with burial in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
Hal Sebastian
Hal A. Sebastian, 74, of Ozark, father of Kathy Taliaferro of Clarksville, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at Mercy Hospital/Turner Memorial in Ozark.
He was a native of Cuewe, Va., and retired director of employees benefits with Standard Oil Company.
Survivors include his widow, Sally Sebastian; two other daughters, Laurie Sebastian and Sandy Hoffmann, both of Piscataway, N. J.; and three grandchildren, Tom Hoffman, Sally Dunn and Cruiser Sebastian.
Cremation was under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
