Argie M. Beeman

Argie Marie Beeman, 68, of Clarksville died Saturday, June 12, 2004, at her home.
She was a daughter of the late James Henry and Martha Susan Case Bohannon and was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Vaught; and two brothers, Earnest Bohannon and Odean Bohannon.
Survivors include two daughters, Zelma M. Turner of Oark and Velma G. Bryant of Clarksville; two sons, Johnny L. Beeman and Jerry L. Beeman, both of Clarksville; one sister, Ruby Watson of Springdale; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, at Roller-Cox Chapel with Rev. Johnny B. Case officiating. Burial was at Oark cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Mike Turner, Timmy Beeman, Terry Beeman, Andy Bryant, Jerry Beeman and Johnny Beeman.
Grandsons served as honorary pallbearers.

Clara E. Gray

Graveside services and burial for Clara Edna Crotts Gray, 90, of Russellville, who died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at her home, were at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 10, at Lamar cemetery with Bruce Flanders officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
She was a daughter of the late John Albert and Emma Anna Hudspeth Crotts, widow of Glen Gray, and was preceded in death by four sisters, Iva Hughs, Lois Wilson, Freda Wilson and Leotta Andrews; and one brother, Frank Crotts.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Jean Gray of Russellville; and one brother, Leslie Crotts of Yucaipa, Calif.

Coy E. Rickard

Coy E. Rickard, 88, of Altus, grandfather of Kristie Robertson of Lamar, died Saturday, June 5, 2004, at Mercy Hospital/Turner Memorial in Ozark.
He was a former coal miner, retired General Electric employee, member of Masonic Lodge No. 383 of Coal Hill and First Baptist Church of Altus, son of the late Dave and Delphia Casey Rickard and a native of Denning.
Other survivors include his widow, Arena Quisenberry Rickard; one son, Gene Rickard of Pleasant View; one sister, Nevia Lawson Creagon of Kansas City, Mo.; and two grandsons, Nathaniel and Benjamin Robertson.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark with Rev. Bill Milam and Rev. Ron Clark officiating. Burial was at Highland cemetery.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Altus, AR 72821.

Eddie W. Edgmon

Eddie William Edgmon, 58, of Oark died Monday, June 14, 2004, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was a son of the late Wilson Edgmon, mechanic, saw mill employee, and was preceded in death by two sisters, Iva Carol Edgmon and Kathleen Edgmon; and one brother, Arvil Edgmon.
Survivors include his widow, Ina Edgmon; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sherlene and Rickey Ragsdale of Ozone, Pamela and Matias Avila of Clarksville and Patricia and Sonny Dobbs of Lamar; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Jimmy Edgmon and Dean and Brandy Edgmon, all of Oark, Stanley and Andrea Edgmon of Clarksville and James and Lori Edgmon of Ozark; mother, Norma Henderson Edgmon of Mossville; two sisters, Darcus Harderson of Mossville and Viola Robertson of Scranton; two brothers, James Edgmon of Ozone and Garrett Edgmon of Clarksville; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 18, at the Cassville Church with Rev. Robert Boen and Rev. Carl Sory officiating.
Burial will be in Cassville cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be Richard Roble, Elmer Davis, Jamey Edgmon, Dean Edgmon, Stanley Edgmon, and James Edgmon.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gaylon Ragsdale, Francis Ragsdale, Shanon Ragsdale, Brandon Ragsdale, Josh Edgmon, Tristan Edgmon and Sonny Dobbs.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 17, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Jo Anne Fowler

Jo Anne Fowler, 71, of Alma died Thursday, June 3, 2004, at her home.
A native of Hartman, she was a retired employee of Sensor Medic, and a member of Concord Baptist Church of Van Buren and the church choir.
Survivors include her husband, J. H. Fowler; two sons, Steven Jay Fowler of Port Orchard, Wash., and Paul Fowler of Riverside, Calif.; two sisters, Betty Coffman of Fletcher, Okla., and Mada Castro of Ricon, N. M.; one brother, James Estes of St. Cloud, Minn.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith. Burial was at Gill cemetery.

Levon Kinsey

Levon Kinsey, 78, of Lamar died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at AMI St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
He was a native of Dardanelle, son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Linnie Mae Robinson Kinsey, World War II Marine veteran, and elder in the congregation of the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall.
Survivors include his widow, Betty Kinsey; two daughters, Paula Sue Wienstien of Fresno, Calif., and Larri Lynn Kinsey of La Haina, Maui, Hawaii; one son, Danny Von Kinsey of Lamar; three sisters, Wanda Damazio of Mount Ida, Mary Rose Burks of Hot Springs and Patsy Ruth Smith of Clarksville; four brothers, Earl Kinsey of Dardanelle, Norbin Kinsey of Ouachita, Ervin Eugene Kinsey of Prescott, Ariz., and Raymond Kinsey of Ogden, Utah; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, June 11, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Don Collie officiating.
Burial was in Oakland cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Roy Jackson, Eric Hurst, Gary Perry, Roy Morris, R. L. Speaks, and Dean Kinsey.

Lindon D. Ragsdale

Lindon Darrel Ragsdale, 49, of Clarksville died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, in Darwin, Minn.
He was employed in the asphault and paving business and was the son of the late Kenneth Ragsdale.
He is survived by two daughters, Candace Ragsdale and Alicia Mathews, both of Ozark; one son, Travis Ragsdale of Ozark; mother, Inda Mae Ragsdale of Clarksville; four brothers, Don Ragsdale of London, Ricky Ragsdale of Ozone, Dennis Ragsdale of Lamar, and Gary Ragsdale of Hartman; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial were at 10 a.m. Monday, June 14, at the Minnow Creek cemetery with Rev. Dale Lantz and Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Mary Ellen Barber

ary Ellen Barber, 79, of Lamar died Monday, June 14, 2004, at Clarksville Convalescent Home.
She was a member of the Hagarville Church of Christ, daughter of the late May (Warren) and John Taylor Barber Sr., and was preceded in death by one sister, Flora Wilson.
Survivors include three sisters and one brother-in-law, Wanda and Harold Crumrine, Anna Freeman and Rosetta Barber, all of Lamar; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. (Wilma) Barber Jr. of Lamar and Mr. and Mrs. Bill (Hazel) Barber of Owasso, Okla.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 17, at the Hagarville Church of Christ with John Ballard officiating.
Burial will be in Rosetta cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be James Freeman, Vaughnon Freeman, Leland Freeman, Bobby Freeman, James Hurst, Michael Barber, Ronnie Crumrine Sr., Ronnie Crumrine Jr., Don McCall and Gary Don Barber.
Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Molly L. Holt

Private funeral for Molly Louise Holt, 10, of Clarksville, who died Nov. 9, 2003, at her home, was at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 12, at Roller-Cox Chapel with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Burial was in Lamar cemetery.
Survivors include her parents, Lloyd Lee and Teresa Michelle Holt of Clarksville; two sisters, Savannah Hamrick of Wesley and Madeline K. Holt of Clarksville; one brother, Briar Lee Holt of Clarksville; grandparents, Henry and Linda Holt of Clarksville and Don and Alice Hamrick of Wesley; and great-grandparents, Newt and Mary Smith of Clarksville.

Peggy Noble

Peggy Noble, 68, of Clarksville died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at her home.
She was a daughter of the late Mildred and Henry Sinnett, Baptist, served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War, and was preceded in death by three sisters, Frances Creamer, Patricia Tschida and Penelope McNutt; and one brother, Roger Strong.
She is survived by four daughters and two sons-in-law, Victoria Noble, Deborah Lovick, Tammy and John Wood, and Kari and Tom Courson, all of Clarksville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Vernon (Butch) and Theresa Noble of Pampa, Texas, and Michael and Pamela Noble of Arlington, Texas; one brother, Melvin Strong of Snowflake, Ariz.; 20 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 14, at East Mt. Zion Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Robbie Jackson officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
The body was cremated.
