Minnis L. Dunlap Jr.

Minnis Lee Dunlap Jr., 59, of Sherwood died Monday, May 17, 2004, at his home.
A native of Clarksville, he was a son of the late Minnis Lee Dunlap Sr., member of Apostolic Church in North Little Rock, ABF Freight Systems employee, and was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anna and Bert Reynolds and Mamie and Oliver Dunlap; and one brother, David Bruce Dunlap Sr.
Survivors include his widow, Judy Gardner Dunlap; two sons, David Lee and R. D. Dunlap; two daughters-in-law, Julie Dunlap and Alisha Miller Dunlap; mother and stepfather, Faye and Harvey Severn; five sisters, Linda Shep-
herd, Rita DeNike, Anna Myers, Barbara Torres and Namal Adair; five brothers, Danny, Charlie, Leslie, Wade and Michael Dunlap; three grandchildren, Dalton Lee, Preston Dayne and Cassadee Miller Dunlap; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, at Apostolic Church in North Little Rock with Rev. Walt Hollis officiating. Graveside services and burial will follow at 4:30 p.m. at the Hess cemetery in western Johnson County under the direction of Roller-Owens Funeral Home of North Little Rock.

Nana Lou Hodges

Nana Lou Hodges, 76, of Dexter, Mo., died Tuesday, May 11, 2004, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dexter, Mo.
She was a native of Clarksville, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elihu (Bethany McAlister) Jones Sr., attended the First Assembly of God Church in Dexter, Mo., and was preceded in death by one son, Darrell Hodges; four brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Hodges; two sons, Doyal Hodges of St. Louis, Mo., and Patrick Hodges of Overland Park, Kan.; two daughters, Paula Ulmer of Treadwell, N. Y., and Katrina Hatfield of Fenton, Mo.; two brothers, Ira Jones and Elihu Jones Jr., both of Clarksville; three sisters, Eula Owen of Lamar, Iva Rushing of Clarksville and Earlene Davis of Russellville; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home Chapel in Dexter, Mo., with Rev. Mike Kohlbaker officiating. Burial was in the Morgan Memorial Park cemetery.

Ray M. Callahan

Ray M. Callahan, 56, of Lamar died Tuesday, May 11, 2004, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired truck driven, son of the late James J. Callahan, and of the Seventh Day Adventist Faith. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Dian Anglin, Maedean Rainey and Cathy Callahan; and two brothers, Randy Callahan and Dalton Callahan.
Survivors include his widow, Anna Kay Johnston Hook Callahan; daughter and son-in-law, Euna Irene (Missy) Callahan and Lee Wagner of Clarksville; mother, Irene Fetters Callahan of Lamar; two sisters, Jan Marlow of Clarksville and Liz Smith of Lamar; and five brothers, J. D. Callahan of Batson, Bill Callahan of Arizona, Doug Callahan of Clarksville, Bob Callahan of Ratcliff, and Jeff Callahan of Ozone.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at Roller-Cox Chapel with Melvin Bankhead and Rev. Dale Lantz officiating. Burial was in Lamar cemetery.
Active pallbearers were J. D. Callahan, Bob Callahan, Jeff Callahan, Ronnie Smith Jr., Jeffrey Callahan, and Dwight Cowell.
Honorary pallbearers were Bill Callahan, Ronnie Smith Sr., Cecil Marlow, Troy Wise, Steve Fetters, Dewey Marlow and J. D. Marlow.

Rosalie G. Willey

Rosalie Garrett Willey, 77, of Clarksville died Friday, May 14, 2004, at her home.
She was a daughter of the late Joel and Bonnie Flake Garrett, 1944 graduate of Clarksville High School, attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Clarksville where she served as an elder, president of the Presbyterian Women's Association, sang in the choir and volunteered for many years at the Presbyterian Thrift Shop. She served as president of Chapter Q PEO, was a member of the Clarksville Supper Club and Ladies Wednesday Bridge and spent the last several years delivering meals on wheels for the Johnson County Senior Activity Center.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Stewart Willey; two daughters and sons-in-law, Deanna and Ewell Welch of North Little Rock and Beverly and Doug Miller of Rogers; and four grandchildren, Wesley Stewart Welch of Little Rock, Natalie Rose Sims and husband, David, of North Little Rock, Stephanie Miller of Nashville, Tenn., and Stacey Miller of Rogers.
Funeral was at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 17, at the First Presbyterian Church in Clarksville with Rev. Lance Jones officiating.
Burial was in Oakland cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Keith Lewis, Jimmy Harold Lewis, Phillip Truman Jacobs, Freeman Wish, Dr. Jack Patterson, Jerry Cacy, Kenneth Butler and Norman Butler.
Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, P. O. Box 1086, Clarksville, AR 72830.

Boyd Austin

Boyd Austin, 102, of Clarksville died Wednesday, May 5, in Countryside Manor Nursing Home.
A native of Knoxville, he was a son of the late Charles W. and Eva Wilson Austin, retired farmer and preceded in death by his wife, Eula Dillon Austin; two sons, Dewey and Boyd Austin; three daughters, Helen Lucchetti, Mary West and Faye Iker; two brothers; and four sisters.
He is survived by three daughters, Betty Daniels of Marysville, Wash., and Joyce Jenkins and Billie Wilkinson, both of Clarksville; two sisters, Juanita Arnold of Moore, Okla., and Beatrice Hammonds of Lake Havasu, Calif.; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, May 10, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with Dr. Robert Brown officiating. Burial was in Oakland cemetery.
Pallbearers were Dennis Jenkins, Stephen Jenkins, Larry Jenkins, Derek Daniels, Doug Austin, and Ashley Davis.

Brian M. Thompson

Brian Michael Thompson, 45, died Tuesday, May 4, 2004, in Carrollton, Texas.
He was a native of Clarksville, graduate of Clarksville High School and the University of Arkansas with a degree in pharmacy and was employed at Baylor Medical Plaza in Dallas, Texas.
Survivors include his widow, Maria E. Thompson; one son, Michael A. Thompson; father, Raymond F. Thompson of North Carolina; mother, Murieline Skaggs of Clarksville; one brother, Brent Thompson of Idaho Falls, Idaho; one sister, Shari Koch of Scranton; grandmother, Lenora Thompson of Clarksville; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 8, at Rhoton Funeral Home Chapel in Carrollton, Texas.

Charles N. Martin

Charles Norman Martin, 74, of Clarksville died Wednesday, May 5, 2004, at his home.
He was a retired painter and minister, Army veteran, and son of the late Jacob Thomas and Velma Elizabeth Conrod Martin.
He is survived by four daughters, Karen Kibler of Homosasa Springs, Fla., Rebecca Sanders of Harrison, Shana Force of St. Joseph, Mo., and Shara Martin of Destin, Fla.; two sons, Steve Martin and Samuel Martin of Clarksville; one sister, Elsie Spencer of Florida; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral was at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 8, at Roller-Cox Chapel with Rev. Jim Goodman officiating. Burial was in Lone Pine cemetery.
Pallbearers were Tony Boydston, Darren Sanders, Shawn Force, Darren Reynolds, Donnie Mooney, and Robert Jackson.

Cloy M. Price

Cloy Murphy Price, 77, of Dover died Thursday, May 6, 2004, at AMI St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
He was a son of the late Arthur and Bessie Hern Price, native of Driggs, United States Air Force veteran of World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War, a master sergeant and worked in explosive ordinance destruction. He was the recipient of the World War II Victory Medal, the Occupation Medal, the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, the Air Force Longevity Services award with three oak leaf clusters and the Air Force Commendation Medal. Following his 20-year military career, he was employed by the United States Postal Service in Russellville, member of the Rogers Rye Post No. 2283 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Riggs Hamilton Post of the American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans, the Pope County Cattlemen's Association and the Dover First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years. He was preceded in death by four brothers, G. C., Troy, Ira and J. A. Price; and an infant sister.
Survivors include his widow, Jeanette Priebe Price; one son and daughter-in-law, Dale Ray and Cathy Price of Irvine, Calif.; one daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Jim Bradford of Clarksville; three brothers, Lewis Price of London, Beauford Price of Russellville and Cecil Price of Texas; one sister, Parthena Smith of Arizona; five grandchildren, Samantha Parker of Clarksville, Andrea Smart of Baton Rouge, La., and Benjamin Price, Chara Dale Price and Nathan Price, all of Irvine, Calif.; and three great-grandchildren, Brittany, Breanna and Brooklyn Parker of Clarksville.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, May 10, at the First Baptist Church of Dover with Rev. Jeff Paxton officiating.
Burial was in East Point cemetery at Russellville under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
Active pallbearers were Benjamin Price, Nathan Price, Brian Smart and Dr. Shane Parker.
Honorary pallbearers were Wayne Nordin and deacons of First Baptist Church of Dover.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund, Dover, AR 72837.

Clara M. Smith

Clara M. Smith, 73, of Ozark, died Wednesday, May 5, 2004, at her home.
She was a native of Coal Hill, daughter of the late Gus and Elizabeth O'Brien Hurst, city clerk for the city of Ozark for 28 years, member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and was preceded in death by one daughter, Monica Kaye Smith.
Survivors include her husband, L. B. Smith; one daughter, Frances Lane Smith of Ozark; one son, Gary William Smith of Ozark; four sisters, Augusta Williams of Chouteau, Okla., Martha Lovette of Catoosa, Okla., Wilma Walker of Coal Hill, and Frances Barros of Owasso, Okla.; two brothers, Lawrence Hurst of Tulsa, Okla., and Leon Hurst of Locust Grove, Okla.; two grandchildren, Leigh Anne Smith and William Christopher Smith, both of Ozark; and two great-grandchildren, Christopher Elijah Smith and Madison Dawn Smith, both of Ozark.
Rosary was at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 6, at Shaffer Funeral Home. Funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, May 7, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Hilary Filiatreau, O.S.B., officiating. Burial was in Highland cemetery at Ozark.
Active pallbearers were Joe Powell, Loye Randolph, Alvin Brewer, Alfred Williams, Joe Lovett, and David Del Soto.
Honorary pallbearers were Bill Hudspeth, Wallace Wisdom Jr., Merle Del Soto Jr.
