Leona "Lee" Myers, 80, of Russellville, died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2005, at her home.
A daughter of the late Chester and Viola Oldenettel Kehr, she was born Nov. 28, 1924.
She was foremost a great mother. She also volunteered at St. Mary’s Regional Medical
Center, was a member of the Garden Club, the Rogers-Rye Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2283 Women’s Auxiliary, the Garden Club, Bay Ridge Boat and Golf Club and St. John’s Lutheran Church.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Shirven Kehr, and a sister, Elvera Ferraris.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Karen Johnson of Winter Springs, Fla., and Robert and Cyndi Myers of New River, Ariz.; her special friend and companion, Lou Jennings; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Lydia Kehr of Cottage Hill, Ill.; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Elaine and Edwin Reinke of Rosewood Heights, Ill., Dolores and Harvey Davis of Bunker Hill, Ill.; and Shirley Pomatto of Wilsonville, Ill.; and two grandchildren, David Myers and Rachel Myers, both of New River, Ariz.
A memorial service was conducted on Monday at the Shinn Chapel by Rev. Darrell Kobs. Burial of cremated remains were in Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville, by Shinn Funeral Service.

Euel Hill
Euel Hill, 90, of Russellville died Sunday, Aug. 1, at his home.
He was born Dec. 9, 1913, at Hector, was the son of the late Ephraim and Mary Rowland Hill, a 1931 graduate of Hector High School, founder of the Dairy Queen on East Fourth Street and owner of Hill Realty from 1950 until the 1980s. He was a member of the Pope County Realtors Association and had served on the Real Estate Board.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Aileen Young Hill; his second wife, Maybelle Dangeau Hill; two sons, Dwain Hill and Rudy Hill; five brothers, Willie, Winzor, Tom, Woodrow, Truman and Lytle Hill; and three sisters, Audra Churchill, Gertha Bartlett and Nora Sue Samen.
Survivors include a son, Jack L. Hill of Hot Springs Village; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Merle Singleterry of Hot Springs Village; two sisters, Laverne Rainey of Atkins and Lorneva Bartlett of Appleton; three grandchildren, Darren Hill of Russellville, Bradley Hill of Jackson, Miss., and Kimberley McDonald of Tupelo, Miss.; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday (today) at Humphrey Chapel with the Rev. Bob Branch officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Loran Hovis
Loran Lee Hovis, 69, of Russellville, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004, at his home.
He was born July 19, 1935, in Russellville, a son of the late Chester Lee and Cleo Kinslow Hovis. He was a 20 year U. S. Army veteran, having served in the 101st Airborne Division during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He also, served as a Pope County Deputy Sheriff, under Otto Brinkman and Bill Abernathy.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Loran Hovis.
Survivors include his wife, Polly Hovis; a son, Chris Hovis of Russellville; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sheila Hovis of Russellville and Diane and Butch Duvall of Pottsville; a brother, Bill Hovis of Russellville; a sister, Lavina Byrum of Russellville; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A private family-conducted graveside memorial service will be held at Bowden Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Shinn Funeral Service.
Eva “Evie” Schock
Eva “Evie” Schock, age 90, of Russellville, died Tuesday, August 3, 2004, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. A daughter of the late Daniel Delbert and Anna Jones Savage, she was born March 18, 1914, in Newton County, Arkansas. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, William Miles Chaney and William J. Schock; two brothers, Ernest Savage and Finis Savage; and a sister, Iva Beare. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Pearl McClain of Benton, Arkansas; and Shirley and Joe Brown of Sedalia, Missouri; a step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Bill and Myrlah Chaney of Benton; three sisters: Sylvia Beare of Taldo, Idaho; Inis Burris of Atkins; and Ina Bershaw of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; a number of step-brothers and step-sisters, six grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Graveside service and Burial will be 2 P.M., Thursday, August 5, 2004, at Richland Cemetery near Lurton, Arkansas, by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Robert Dixon
Robert Henry Dixon, 49, of Gilmer, Texas, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, in Upshur County, Texas.
He was born Aug. 12, 1955, in Crossett, was the son of the late Henry and Dora Campbell Dixon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Faye Lorene Dixon.
Survivors include eight sisters and three brothers-in-law, Laverne and Clodus Massey of Little Rock, Mildred Bays of Crossett, Jewell Crouch and Betty and Robert Kinnison, all of Jacksonville, Mary Thomas of Memphis, Alice Russell of North Little Rock, Barbara Smith and Pamela and Fred Hipp, all of Crossett; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Jeanette Dixon of Millington, Tenn., Loy and Sherry Dixon and James and Rita Dixon, all of Crossett, Billy Joe and Belinda Dixon of Hindsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were Monday at the Atkins City Cemetery, with the Rev. Larry Potts officiating. Funeral arrangements were by Lemley Funeral Service

Ruby McCloud
Ruby E. McCloud, 64, a resident of Russellville, died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004, at Saint Vincent Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock.
She was born Feb. 23, 1940, at Newport, to the late Arthur Lee and Virsia Lee Smith Ross. She was a former nurse’s assistant for several local nursing facilities. She was a member of the Kelly Heights Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ethel Mae Ross and Coreen Lee; two brothers, Arvil and Floyd Ross; and a granddaughter, Dana Lynn McCloud.
Survivors include four daughters and three sons-in-law, Debra D. Brown, Jo Ann and Keith Murray, Sherry E. and Roland Foster , and Tammy D. and Robert Hubbard all of Russellville; two brothers, Boyd J. Ross of London and Arthur Lee Ross Jr. of Lonoke; a sister, Mae N. Britton of London; four granddaughters; five grandsons; seven great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were Tuesday at East Point Cemetery at Russellville and officiated by Rev. Jack West. Arrangements were under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
Active pallbearers were her grandsons, David Brown, Randy Murray, Gene Foster , Bobby Brown, and Steven Brown, and a nephew, Austin Britton. Myrtle Moore
Myrtle Moore, 93, of Pottsville, died Monday, Aug. 30, 2004, at her home.
She was born May 31, 1911, in Clinton, Okla., and was a daughter of the late Elijah and Ollie Stanley Daniel.
She was the widow of Edward Moore, and was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Moore, and a daughter, Nettie Lou Moore.
Survivors include seven daughters, Ruth Goswick and Ollie Jo Young, both of Russellville, Lois Dennis of Atkins, Betty Rayner of Little Rock, Edna Bishop of Russellville, Joy Ann Ford of Dardanelle, and Wanda Lea Balkman of Russellville; a sister, Cecil Gertrude McDaniels of Pennsylvania; seventeen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 1, at the Shinn Chapel by Rev. Claude Jackson. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery near Pottsville, by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Rheda Jones
Rheda Kay Jones, 51, a resident of Russellville, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004, at Russellville.
She was born March 20, 1953, at Russellville to the late Robert Ashmore and Myrtis Hassel Ashmore Church. She was a 1971 graduate of Russellville High School and Capital City Business College. She was a former employee of Kerr-McGee Oil Company in Oklahoma City, Okla., Northwest Airlines in Oklahoma, and Entergy Operations, Inc. at Arkansas Nuclear One in Russellville.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, E. E. and Edna Overby Ashmore; her maternal grandparents, D. C. and Lennie Ethel Dollar Hassel; and a husband, William “Billy” Weinmeister.
Suvivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Gerran and Alicia Williamson Pyles of Russellville and Jason Pyles of Fort Smith; her mother and step-father, Myrtis and Royce Church of Russellville; a brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Elaine Ashmore of Plano, Texas; a sister and brother-in-law, Paula and Al Freedle of Russellville; three step-sisters, Joyce Stewart of Fontana, Calif., Linda Benge of Citrus Heights, Calif., and Brenda Applegate of Las Vegas, Nevada; three grandchildren, Jacob Pyles of London, Jesse Pyles of Barling, and Hali Pyles of London; a nephew, Mark Ashmore of Russellville; two nieces, Stephanie Cullum of Corinth, Texas and Amanda Ashmore of Plano, Texas; Mark and Stephanie’s mother, Patricia Ashmore of Pflugerville, Texas; Hali and Jacob’s mother, Amy Cottingham of London; an uncle, Bill Ashmore of Hope; three aunts, Peggy Lawrence of Hector, Polly Johnson of Russellville, and Ada Pendergraft of Russellville; and other relatives and friends.
The family will conduct a memorial service at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, at Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church at Oak Grove with Mr. Larry Ashmore officiating. There will be a private burial at Rest Haven Memorial Park at Russellville under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
David Allen
David Paul Allen, 45, of Dover, died Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at his home.
He was born Sept. 4, 1960, in Bakersfield, Calif., was a member of the Cedar Grove Assembly of God Church and loved to fish.
Survivors include his parents, Laudell and Ruth Westbrook Allen of Dover; a brother, Danny Allen of Dover; two sisters, Susie Hopkins of Bakersfield, Calif., and Jennifer King of Dover and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Jimmie Anderson
Jimmie E. Anderson, 72, of Atkins, died Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at his home.
He was born March 13, 1934, in Fresno, Calif., and was the son of the late John and Florence Lynn Anderson. He was a member of the Bethel Island Lions Club and was a Missionary Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie C. Anderson of Atkins; a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmie and Bobbie Anderson of Conway; three brothers; four sisters; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements were by Lemley Funeral Service.
Lena Birnbaum
Lena Emma Birnbaum, 97, of Russellville, formerly of Lamar, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, at Russellville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
A daughter of the late George Ludwig and Lena Alma Birkhahn Birnbaum, she was born November 21, 1906, in Lamar. She was a farmer and housekeeper, and a member of the former St. Paul Lutheran Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Louie Birnbaum and William Birnbaum, and a sister, Emma Marie Birnbaum.
Graveside service was at the pavilion she donated to the cemetery and burial was Tuesday, at the St. Paul Cemetery near Lutherville, with Rev. Herb Swanson and Rev. Mike Thurman officiating. Arrangements are by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Irene Bibler
Irene Bibler, 90, a resident of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2006, at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
She was born September 8, 1915, at Scottsville to James Madison and Eula Belle Hale Danley. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Russellville and was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ewing Bibler; four brothers, Cletus, Kirby, Hale and Shannon Danley.
Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Hawkins of Russellville; a grandson and granddaughter-in-law, John Ben and Dee Hawkins of Russellville; two great-grandchildren, Anna Marissa and Matthew Hawkins; a step-great-granddaughter, Lindsey Cantwell; and two step-great-great-grandchildren, Sam and Hannah Lackey.
The funeral was held Tuesday, June 13, 2006, at Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Cheatham and the Rev. David Bond officiating. Burial was in the Rest Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
Active pallbearers were Jerry Dean, Rickey George, Brent Boland, Danny Barnhouse, Jeremy Hale Partin and David Michael Bibler. Honorary pallbearers were the Rev. David McLemore, Dr. Kevin Beavers and Dr. Kenneth New.

Cecila Bellinghausen
Cecila (Fengler) Bellinghausen, 88, of Morrilton, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2006.
She was born April 8, 1918, in Atkins, a daughter of Herman Fengler and Cecila Eggman Fengler. She was a homemaker, member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Clarence Bellinghausen of Morrilton; a daughter, Becky McClaren and husband, Jim, of Atkins; a grandson, Randy McClaren and wife, Becca, of London; granddaughter, Maranda McClaren of Atkins; one great-grandson, Gavin McClaren of London; five sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Friday, May 12 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Charles Thessing officiating. Burial was at Sacred Heart Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
Pallbearers were Randy McClaren, Glen Gillean, Alan Reed, David Gangluff, Glenn Gangluff, and Steve Kordsmeier.
Jerome Bobo
Jerome Lynn Bobo 31, Russellville, departed this life June 10, 2006 at Baptist Health North Little Rock, Arkansas. He was employed at Con Agra. He was born August 6, 1974 to JoAnn Beard Bobo and the late Claudie L. Bobo in Morrilton, Arkansas.
He was a 1990 graduate of Atkins High School where he was a member of the Atkins Football team. He was also a member of Gold Hill Baptist Church in Atkins.
Survivors include two daughters, Janisha Bobo of Atkins and Deserae Sayvongsa of Ft. Smith and two sons, Isaiah McGlone and Jaquawn Bobo of Russellville, and a mother, JoAnn Bobo of Atkins.
Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at Allen Chapel AME Church in Atkins. Interment Allen Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Friday at Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, Morrilton 354-0054.
Maude Boerner
Maude A. Boerner, 70 of Atkins, passed away Tuesday, at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock.
She was a Life member of DAV Auxiliary, and a member of the Grace Baptist Church. She was born June 4, 1936 in Cooter, Mo. and was the daughter of the late Frank and Myrl Stewart.
She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Winnie (Doc) Bolin and Henry P. Boerner, a son, Rex David Bolin, and a great granddaughter, Whitney Burris.
Survivors include a son, Michael Bolin of Atkins; two daughters and a son-in-law, Nila and Don Manns of Ola and Belinda Jones of Conway; two brothers, Pat Steward of Gilmore Texas and W. T. Steward of Blytheville; a sister, Delna Carter of Steele, Mo.; eleven grandchildren and their spouses, David and Deborah Bolin, Debbie and Chris Schaefers, Allan, Jeff, and Josh Jones, Kim and Chris Jones, Daniel Speaks, Paul Manns, Melissa, Toney and Dallas Bolin; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Gary Boyce, Allen Jones, Jeffery Jones, Josh Jones, Chris Jones, Daniel Speaks. Honorary Bearers were Robbie West and Chris Schaefers.

Dewell Bradley
Dewell Bradley, 83, of Atkins, died may 23, 2006 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Morrilton. He was self-employed. He was the son of the late William A. and Betty Virden Bradley. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of Bell’s Chapel Church of Christ.
Survivors are two sons and daughter-in-laws, Robert and Linda Bradley of Ashdown and Kenneth and Cindy Bradley of Bentonville, one daughter, Sharon Dove, of North Little Rock, three sisters, Woodine Duvall of Hattieville, Nadine Willcutt of Jerusalem and Virginia Polk of California.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Lemley Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Friday, May 26 at 10 a.m. at Shiloh Cemetery north of Atkins by Robert Hearne. Burial is by Lemley Funeral Service.
Pauline Brashear
Anna Pauline Patterson Brashear, 83, of Russellville went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 16, 2006.
She was born Dec. 5, 1922 at Crossroads to the late John Marshall and Ona Mae Singleton Patterson of the Buttermilk Community.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Terrel Brashear, Sr. and a son, Paul Stanley Brashear.
She was a dedicated companion and partner in pastoring existing Assembly of God Churches in several states and estabishing many more.
She is survived by two children, a daughter, Jacqueline Elaine Burris Brown of Russellville; a son and daughter-in-law, Terrel Jr, and Rebecca Brashear of Buttermilk; six grandchildren, Allison Brown of Norman, Ginger Eaton and husband, Tom, of Russellville, Charles Brashear and wife, Mindy, of Hector, DeShea Hendricks and husband, Ricky, of Mayflower, Rachel and John Brashear of Buttermilk; ten great grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren.
The funeral was held at Rehoboth Assembly of God Church in Buttermilk Community with Rev. Bob Branch and Rev. Lester Chisum officiating,

Jamie Lee Bray
Jamie Lee Bray, 35, of Conway died Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at his home following a two year battle with cancer.
He was born in Rogers, Oct. 8, 1970, the son of Renard Bray and Monica Woodruff Bray. He was the store manager of Wal-Mart #5 in Conway. He was active in the Knights of Columbus, Lions Club, Salvation Army Board of Directors, and was an avid outdoorsman, loving father, husband, and son.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, John and Peggy Woodruff, and Lou Bray.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Lemley Bray; one son, Noah Lemley Bray; one daughter, Hallie Katharine Bray all of Conway; his father, Renard Bray of Gateway; his mother, Monica Woodruff Bray of Rogers; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Amy Bray of Bentonville and Robbie and Anne Bray of Rogers; brother-in-law, Joshua Lemley and wife, Rebecca Lemley of St. Mary’s, Georgia; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Ron Lockhart of Rogers; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Pamela and Stephen Lemley of Atkins; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass was Monday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Conway. Celebrating the Mass was Rev. Tom Byrne, Rev. Brandon Nguyen, and Deacon Richard Papini.
Honorary pallbearers were Brett Austin, Russell Bray, Randall Bray, Chuck Huddleston, Greg Pinkston, Jesse Hays, Kyle Woodruff, Patrick Woodruff, and Rex Lovelady.
A memorial service was also be held Tuesday at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Cemetery in Rogers.

Verlie Irene Brock
Verlie Irene Brock, 72, of Russellville died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, at Hillcrest Specialty Hospital at Tulsa, Okla.
Born March 16, 1931, at Bayou Meta, she was the daughter of the late Jasper Newton and Lillie Maude Abbott Webb, and the widow of Johnie A. Brock. She was a Home Health Care caregiver and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy at London.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Coy Webb; and a sister, Ina Baker.
Survivors include two sons, Johnie P. Brock of Pinckney, Mich., and Jeffrey G. Brock of London; a daughter, Linda F. Brock of Russellville; three brothers, Calvin Webb of Solgohachia, Raymond Webb of Tulsa, Okla., and Billy Webb of Russellville; a sister, Pat Tanner of Tulsa, Okla.; and five grandchildren, Mary Kincy of Russellville, Rachel, Liz and Emily Brock of Pinckney, Mich., and Nathan White of Russellville.
Funeral was held Saturday at London Church of God of Prophecy by the Rev. Dan Baker. Burial was at Rest Haven Memorial Park by Shinn Funeral Service.

Noma J. Brown
Noma J. Brown, 93, of Atkins, died Monday, March 31, 2003.
Born August 9, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Carrie Ann Blackburn Keener. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bells Chapel Church of Christ.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Brown, one brother, Clyde Keener, and two sisters, Eura Jenkins and Lucille Bell.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Lawrence Hankins of Atkins; one brother, Loyd Keener of Atkins; two grandsons and a granddaughter-in-law, Randy and DeAnne Hankins of Fort Smith, and Greg Hankins of Conway; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Ann Marie and David Porter of Conway, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday, April 1, 2003 at the Lemley Funeral Chapel with the Robert Hearne officiating. Burial will be in Bells Chapel Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service.

James Champion, 75, of Appleton, died Saturday, May 20, 2006 at his home.
A son of the late Oscar and Nancy Clara Jane Sartor Champion, he was born Oct. 11, 1930 in Paris, Ar.
He was a retired farmer, and had worked in the lumber business for many years. He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Tulsa, Okla.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Lindley; two brothers, Jessie Champion and Aud Champion; and a son-in-law, Jeff Hetland.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Champion; a son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Darlene Champion of Pottsville; a daughter, Kay Hetland of Dardanelle; a brother and sister-in-law, Otis and Frances Champion of Eufaula, Okla.; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several cousins.
A graveside service at Rock Springs Cemetery near Hector was conducted Monday by Shinn Funeral Service. Chaplain John Serrette officiated.
Honorary pallbearers were Tom Champion, Ronnie Ellis and Roy Champion.

Derril Childers
Derril K. Childers, 78, of Atkins died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003 at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center at Russellville.
He was born June 25, 1925, in Atkins, to John E. and Ila Tyler Childers. He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific during World War II receiving three Bronze Stars, Expert Combat Infantry Badge, Marksman’s Medal, World War II Victory Ribbon, Asian Pacific Ribbon and the Philippine Liberation Ribbon. He was a 35-year employee of Arkansas Power & Light Co., and Entergy, retiring from the Russellville office in 1985. He served as a volunteer fireman, city alderman at Atkins and was a third degree Master Mason, and a member of Atkins Masonic Lodge 172, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5223 and First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, James Elbert Childers and Don Childers; and a sister, Johnnie Gearlene Gehlhart.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Deane Haralson Childers; a son, Derril K. Childers Jr. and his wife, Lisa, of Atkins; a daughter, Cheryl Childers Lewis and her husband, Jim, of Sherman, Texas; two brothers, G.W. Childers of Atkins and Billy Ray Childers of Sherwood; a sister, Bobbie Sue Norris of Derby, Kan.; and a grandson, Tyler Lewis of Sherman, Texas.
Funeral services were Saturday at the First Baptist Church. with Bro. Mark Griffith officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service.
Pallbearers included Bruce and Donnie Childers, Kevin Haralson, Thurman Aston, Philip and Robert Haralson. Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Haralson and Entergy employees.
Nancy Craig
Nancy Ruth Craig, 98, formerly of Okmulgee, Okla., died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003 in Wetumka, Okla.
She was born March 6, 1905, in Hector to the late George and Martha Churchill and was a pastor’s wife and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Olen Craig; five brothers; three sisters; two infant sons; and a daughter, Wanda Abbott.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Harold Craig and his wife, Norma, of Norman, Okla., Farrell Craig and his wife, Kathryn, of Richardson, Texas, and Dean Craig of Okmulgee; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy White and her husband, Lawrence, of Wetumka, Okla; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday at the First Assembly of God in Okmulgee by Rev. Raymond Doke. Burial was Tuesday at the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Hector under the direction of McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Pallbearers were Bill Craig, Bob Craig, Jeff Craig, Jon Craig, Steve Craig and Travis Cagle.
