Kitty L. Crowder
Kitty Lynn Crowder, 54, of Lamar died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2004, at her home.
She was a daughter of the late John Percy and Montora Zeddy Dinkins, member of the Strawberry Assembly of God Church, shipping clerk at Wal-Mart Distribution Center, and was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, C. W. and Dorothy Crowder; and one sister, Henrietta Lea.
Survivors include her husband, Lonnie Crowder; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lona and Warren Rhodes of Lamar and Lori and Brent Caldwell of the Flat Rock Community; one sister, Carolyn Richmond of Bradley; three brothers, John Dinkins of Colum-
bia, Tenn., Edward Dinkins of Plain Dealing, La., and Bruce Dinkins of Serepta, La.; and three grandchildren, Libby Caldwell, Ridge Rhodes and Trace Caldwell.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23, at the Strawberry Assembly of God Church with Rev. George Willis officiating.
Burial was in Hagarville cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Bob Newman, Ben Smith, Gene MaCalik, Richard Pelts, William Graves, and Doyle Farmer.
Honorary pallbearers were Calvin Warren, Morgan Smith, Allen Hammonds, Danny Lea, Danny Joe Lea, and Daniel Lea.

Letta Mae Holt
Letta Mae Holt, 67, of Lamar died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2004, at her home.
She was a native of Sikeston, Mo., daughter of the late Burris and Violet Westmoland Ward, member of Mount Vernon Community Church, retired certified nurses aide, and was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth, Mouser and Gary Ward; and two sisters, Georgia Cooper and Barbar Culpepper.
Survivors include her husband, Leon Holt; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Danny Clayborn of Lamar; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Randy and Pennie Holt of Clarksville and Mike Holt of the home; two sisters, Brenda Cochran and Dorothy Thompson, both of Sikeston, Mo.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Wendell and Carol Ward of Kansas City, Mo., and C. B. and Margaret Ward of Florida; one brother-in-law, Billy Culpepper of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and one step-great-grandchild.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at Mount Vernon Community Church with Rev. Bill Holt officiating.
Burial was in Lamar cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Donald White, Peanut Holt, Charles Holt, Chris Bittle, Anthony Bittle, and Bob Moore.

Roy L. Elkins
Roy Lawrence Elkins, 61, of Clarksville died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was a native of Cass, son of the late Roy Eber Elkins, graduate of Clarksville High School, attended Letourneau College in Longview, Texas, retired member of the Clarksville Fire Department, and an employee of Peach Valley Propane Gas Company for several years prior to being employed by Synergy Gas Company for 34 years where he was district manager for Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Survivors include his widow, Elaine Dasher Elkins; one daughter and son-in-law, Edie and Billy Stone of Hagarville; one son and daughter-in-law, Ethan and Yvonne Elkins of Alameda, Calif.; mother, Bea Elkins of Clarksville; one sister and brother-in-law, Edna and John Patterson of Clarksville; three grandchildren, Eli Stone, Preston Stone, and Kaitlyn Elkins; and three step-grandchildren, Brian Thaxton, Zachary Turner, and Megan Turner.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2004, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with Rev. Burnett King and Lonnie Turner officiating.
Active pallbearers will be Ricky Hunt, Jim Dow, Aubrey Yount, Billy Stone, Russell Kuyker, John Patterson, Kenneth Coffee, Kenny Elkins and Harold Hyden.
Honorary pallbearers will be members and retired members of the Clarksville Fire Department.

Anna W. Stumbaugh
Anna Walton Stumbaugh, 81, of North Little Rock, formerly of Clarksville, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2004, in Little Rock.
She was a daughter of the late C. B. and Ruby Hughes Walton, graduate of Clarksville High School, widow of LTC Leon E. Stumbaugh, member of First United Methodist Church of North Little Rock, active in arts and crafts groups as well as a maker of porcelain dolls and ceramic objects, and was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, R. P. and Jimmy Earl Walton, and one sister, Ruby Walton Farr.
Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Paula Padilla of Little Rock and Cheryl and Bill Fuller of Jacksonville; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Ron and Debbie Stumbaugh of Fayetteville and Scott Stumbaugh of Van Buren; one brother, Henry Walton of Clarksville; and nine grandchildren and spouses, Delanna and David Pennington and Pilar and Jody Woody, all of Little Rock, Lynsey Stumbaugh and James Scott Stumbaugh, both of Van Buren, Craig and Cindy Fuller of Jackson, Tenn., Spencer Fuller of Memphis, Tenn., Lance and Christina Stumbaugh, Kurt and Jen Stumbaugh, and Jordan and Jill Stumbaugh, all of Fayetteville; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, at the First United Methodist Church in North Little Rock.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, at the First United Methodist Church in Clarksville with Rev. Steve Wingo and Ron Stumbaugh officiating.
Burial will be in Oakland cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Craig Fuller, Spencer Fuller, Lance Stumbaugh, Kurt Stumbaugh, Jordan Stumbaugh, and James Scott Stumbaugh.

Argie F. Williams
Argie Faye Williams, 76, of Clarksville died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2004, at Southwest Regional Medical Center in Little Rock.
She was a lifelong member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, daughter of the late Corbet and Rosie Acord Sexton, widow of Thomas P. Williams, and was preceded in death by one daughter, Judy Lingar, and one grandson, Nick D. Williams.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and David Pitts of Gastonia, N. C., and Pat and Dane Lingar of Little Rock; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jerry Williams and Ed and Jana Williams, all of Clarksville; 17 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Ransom Storms officiating.
Burial will be in Oakland cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be Roger Williams, Mike Williams, Harold Little, Dale Wood, Mike Krause, Dale Caldwell, Wayne Wheeler, and Darrel Wheeler.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren.

John E. Overbey
John Edwin Overbey, 61, of Knoxville died Friday, Aug. 27, 2004, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
A native of Lamar, he was a son of the late Charles Vaden and Myrtle Susie Hutchins Overbey, graduate of Ventura (California) High School, member of the Eagles Club, and was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Pitts.
He is survived by one daughter, Susan Overbey of Washington; one son, Mike Overbey of Knoxville; one sister, Magdalene Kirkpatrick of Knoxville; one brother, Charles Overbey of Brea, Calif.; and two grandchildren, John Charles Overbey and Joseph Clayton Overbey, both of Hobbs, N. M.
The body was cremated. Local arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Lena M. Parker
Lena Mattie Parker, 91, of Ozark, sister of Odys Hardcastle of Clarksville, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2004, at Mercy Hospital/Turner Memorial in Ozark.
She was a native of Ozark, daughter of the late James and Hattie Nichols Hardcastle, retired nurses' aide and a Protestant.
Other survivors include two daughters, Alma Parker and Molly Graham, both of Ozark; one stepson, Billy Parker of Ozark; two sisters, Mary Opper of Ozark and Ocena Sutliff of Paris; four grandchildren, Mickey Graham, Kelly Graham, Larry Parker, and Mike Parker; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, at Gar Creek cemetery with Rev. Ted Darling officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
Marvin R. Johnson
Marvin R. Johnson (Buster Tipton), 77, died Aug. 22, 2004, in Seattle, Wash.
He was a native of Hartman, son of the late Marshall and Elizabeth Tipton, veteran, mechanic, musician, and preceded in death by three brothers.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael Johnson of Seattle, Wash., and Mark and Marva Johnson of Roseville, Calif.; one daughter and son-in-law, Dianna and Troy Flowers of Sacramento, Calif.; one sister, Shirley Curtis of Stockton, Calif.; one brother, James Tipton of Stockton, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
The body was cremated.
