Mary Kay Dittmar
Mary Kay Dittmar, 62, of Clarksville died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
A native of Clinton, Iowa, she was a graduate of Clinton High School and Arkansas Tech University at the Ozark campus, member of Clarksville Chapter No. 172 Order of Eastern Star, was employed by Arkansas State Bank for 10 years and recently retired from Simmons First Bank in Clarksville where she was employed for 10 years.
Survivors include her husband, Chris Dittmar; one daughter and son-in-law, Christi and Kevin Freeman of Lamar; mother, Mary Parr of Camanche, Iowa; father, Byrl Swanson Sr. of Clinton, Iowa; one sister, Barbie Watts of Camanche, Iowa; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Byrl (Susie) Swanson Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Larry (Patti) Swanson, all of Orange Park, Fla., and Ken Swanson of Circleville, Ohio; three grandchildren, Shannon Davidson, Ashley Freeman and Kayla Freeman, all of Lamar; and one great-grandchild, Lara Faye Hicks of Lamar.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 10, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bob Freeman officiating. Burial was in Minnow Creek cemetery.
Pallbearers were Denton Tumbleson, Charles Groskopf, Sean Thornton, Steven Sosebee, Lee Payton and Wesley Kendrick.
Nona F. Robinson
Nona Farnam Robinson, 99, of Clarksville died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, in Andrews, Texas.
She was a native of the New Liberty Community in Logan County, daughter of the late William and Josie Horn Farnam, widow of Dink Robinson, member of the Church of Christ, and was preceded in death by one son, Wilburn Robinson; one son-in-law, James Horn; four sisters, Minnie Rollans, Stella Farnam, Effie Farnam, and Letha Wood; and five brothers, Irving, Jess, Bill, Buel and Floyd Farnam.
She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Jo Ann Horn of Clarksville and Billie and Charles Prichard of Andrews, Texas; one daughter-in-law, Audrey Robinson of Alexander; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with John Ballard and David Coats officiating. Burial was in Elizabeth Hall cemetery at New Blaine.
Active pallbearers were Mack Parks, Bob Parks, John Farnam, Edsel Farnam, Carlton Robinson, and Elvin Brown.
Honorary pallbearers were G. R. Brown, Bill Bob Wood, Malvern Gray and Bill Jack Parker.
Onnie Fultz Jr.
Onnie Fultz Jr., 69, of Coal Hill died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004, at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith.
He was a carpenter and millwright employee, member of the Assembly of God Church, son of the late Nellie (Holmes) and Onnie Fultz Sr., and was preceded in death by one brother, Jessie Fultz.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Estep Fultz; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Rick LeBow of Ozark; one son, Michael Fultz of Coal Hill; one sister, Thelma Lot of Concord, N. C.; one brother, Ernest Fultz of Coal Hill; six grandchildren, Josh, Wes, Matt and Lindsay Fultz and Charles and Caleb LeBow; and four great-grandchildren, Michael, Austin, Elizabeth and Logan Fultz.
Funeral was at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, at Roller-Cox Chapel with Rev. Tony Morgan officiating. Burial was in Hartman cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Josh Fultz, Matt Fultz, Dean Estep, Richard Estep, Wes Fultz, Charles LeBow, Carl Estep, and Chris Lanphear.
Honorary pallbearers were Caleb LeBow, Ronnie Marvel, Tom Davenport, and Cliffton Loyd.
Cheryl Harvey
Beverly Cheryl Harvey, 51, of Russellville, formerly of Clarksville, died Thursday, Dec. 16, 2004, at AMI St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
Survivors include her parents, K. P. and Geneva Harvey of Clarksville; one brother, Lindy Paul Harvey of Clarksville; and numerous uncles and aunts.
Graveside services and burial were at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at the Shady Grove cemetery with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Elene Cook Foltz
Elene Cook Foltz, 88, of Clarksville died Friday, Dec. 17, 2004, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home.
She was the widow of James R. Foltz and daughter of the late Charles Ira and Ethel Hamilton Cook.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Norma and Thomas H. Hogan of Clarksville; two sisters, Isabella Knighton of Louisiana and Lorene Cook of Little Rock; and one brother, Ralph Frederick Cook of Texas.
The body was cremated. Local arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Edward E. Grissom
Edward Eugene Grissom, 41, of Hartman died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004, at his home.
He was a native of Lubbock, Texas, disabled and preceded in death by one sister, Rhonda Grissom.
Survivors include his wife, Hope McKnight Grissom; one daughter, Kasey Kristine Grissom of Hartman; one son, Gideon George Grissom of Hartman; father, Jesse Grissom of Texas; mother and stepfather, Sandra and George Harvey of Coal Hill; grandparents, H. E. Harvey of Clarksville, Charlie and Madeline McCain of Hartman, and the late Orville and Bonnie Grissom; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Kimberly and Richard Heruska of Texas, Madeline and Greg Phillips of Clarksville, Meredith and Raymond Young of Lamar, and Gwen Grissom of Texas; and one brother and sister-in-law, Josh and Lesley Harvey.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, at the Coal Hill Church of Christ with Jim Bullock officiating.
Burial was in West Mt. Zion cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Josh Harvey, Dondi Harkreader, Greg Phillips, Raymond Young, Richard Heruska and Fred Mays.
Mary A. White
Mary Agnes White, 90, of London died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, at her home.
She was a native of Pope County, daughter of the late Robert Lafayette and Viola Delilah Skinner Vinson, widow of John H. White, member of Mt. Carmel Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth E. White, and two sons-in-law, Erwin Rietzke and Bernard Bice.
Survivors include two sons and three daughters-in-law, John R. and Dixie White of Silt, Colo., Marvin G. and Maxine White of London, and Wanda E. White of Clarksville; three daughters and one son-in-law, Geniece Rietzke of London, Jean and James Freeman of Fort Smith, and Mary Bice of Clarksville; 18 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at Shinn Funeral Service Chapel in Russellville with Rev. Mike Galloway and Elder Carlton Bowden officiating. Burial was in Mt. Carmel cemetery.
Grandsons served as active pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers were Martin Priebe, John Henry Miller, Dean Castleberry, Elbert Rye and Percy Boster.

Olive L. Sanders
Olive Louise Sanders, 83, of McCleary, Wash., died Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, at her home.
She was a native of the Mt. Vernon Community north of Clarksville, daughter of the late Henry and Effie Snow Young, widow of Clarence A. Sanders, member of the McCleary Assembly of God Church, and formerly employed as an oyster shucker for Skookum Oyster for 12 years and as a Pinkerton guard for Simpson Timber Company for two years. She was preceded in death by five siblings, Ruth, Wilma and James Young, Georgie Rusher and Edna Eichenburger.
She is survived by four sons, Tom of Myrtle Creek, Ore., Terry and Keith, both of McCleary, Wash., and Roger of Olympia, Wash.; two daughters, Barb MacMillan and Darliss Sloan, both of McCleary, Wash.; one brother, Johnny Young of Clarksville; one sister, Myrtle Skaggs of Montesano, Wash.; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, at the McCleary Assembly of God Church followed by a graveside service at McCleary cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Whiteside Family Mortuary of Elma, Wash.

Shayna M. Patterson
Shayna Marie Patterson, infant daughter of Alicia Marie Keech and Michael Ray Patterson, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
Other survivors include grandparents, Dana Clark and Mr. and Mrs. Danny (Mary) Keech Sr., all of Lamar, Carol Perry of Mulberry and Charles Patterson of Ozark; and great-grandmother, Mary Clark of Lamar.

Vannie V. Harmon
Vannie V. Harmon, 102, of Lamar died Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, at her home.
She was a retired farmer and restaurant owner, Baptist, daughter of the late Hampton and Birtie Corn Voss, widow of Ambrose Henry Harmon, and was preceded in death by one daughter, Violet Edna Mae Griffith; two grandchildren, Earlene Sisk and Terry Brown; one great-grandchild, Wade Shiflett; two sisters; and three brothers.
She is survived by four daughters, Treiba Steuart of Clear Lake, Calif., Nellie Ann Ruhl and Guelda Kathleen Brown of Lamar, and Bertie Evelyn Ashlock of Tulsa, Okla.; seven grandchildren, Paula Jean Shiflett, Mary Ann Martin, Connie Gail Ruhl, David Griffith, Ann Griffith, Eric Ashlock, and April Brickhouse; three great-grandchildren, Warren Shiflett, Valarie Lynn Steuart, and Roberta Lea Martin; three great-great-grandchildren, Kevin Shiflett, Kayla Shiflett and Callahan Steuart; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral was at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, at Roller-Cox Chapel with Rev. Clyde Vire officiating. Burial was in Holman cemetery.
