Annie Kennedy
Annie Mae Kennedy, 94, of Quitman died Thursday, November 25, 2004. She was born at Damascus to the late John R. and Lillie Odom Pierce on December 7, 1909. She was a homemaker, a loving mother and an avid gardener, and was a Methodist.
Survivors include four sons and their wives, J.D. and Edith, Doyle and Dean and Randal and Sylvia, all of Quitman, and Wendell and Ruth of Conway; two sisters, Clio Burks and Lois Sneed, both of California; two half-sisters, Betty Mae Wheeler and Norma Pierce, both of North Little Rock; two half-brothers, Fairel J. Pierce and Johnny Ray Pierce, both of Little Rock, 15 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sunday, November 28 at Roller-McNutt Chapel in Clinton with Gary Burdin officiating. Interment was at Fairbanks cemetery by Roller-McNutt of Clinton.
Pallbearers included Bill Kennedy, James Eddie Kennedy, Ricky Kennedy, Donnie Kennedy, Michael Kennedy and Mark Kennedy.
Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Kennedy, Randy Kennedy and Johnny Kennedy.

Dwade Mims
Dwade Jennings Mims, 87, of Denison, TX died November 20, 2004 at the Wilson N. Jones Medical Center.
She was born February 17, 1917 at Morganton, the daughter of the late James Berry Jennings and Ethel Gertrude Linn Jennings.
She married Billy L. Mims on July 20, 1944 in Little Rock; he preceded her in death on May 17, 2004.
She was a cosmetologist, a member of Chapter XVII of the Society of Colonial Dames, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was also a member of the Shannon Church of Christ.
She was also preceded in death by a grandson; by brothers Leland, Arvon, Willard and Ralph, and by sisters Arpa Jennings and Maxine Jennings Kelley.
Survivors include her daughter, Earline Ballou of Allen, TX; her sister Wilda Jones of Bee Branch, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday, November 23 at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to the Shannon Church of Christ, 4981 Dripping Springs Rd., Sherman, TX 75090 or to the Van Buren County Historical Society, P.O. Box 1023, Clinton, AR 72031.

Leo Richardson
Leo B. Richardson, 89, of Scotland died Sunday, November 28, 2004 at home. He was born June 13, 1915 in Kinsley, KS.
He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Goldie Jones; by his brother, Harold Richardson, by a grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Ilene Richardson, who cared for him until his death; his daughters, Katherine Pitman and her husband Jerry, and Cleo Mathes and Max Gammill, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, December 1 at Pleasant Grove cemetery near Scotland; arrangements were by Roller-McNutt of Clinton.

Eileen Shannon
Eileen Shannon, 87, of Clinton died Tuesday, November 30, 2004. She was born November 25, 1917 to the late James William and Frances Otoma Finton Pate, lived all her life in Clinton and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker and a Christian.
She was active with the World Bible Ministry and the local jail ministry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eardie Roy Shannon; by brothers Roy Jean Pate and and James Wilson Pate, and by a granddaughter.
Survivors include a brother, William Finton Pate; a daughter and son-in-law, Wanda Earleen and Robert Joseph Belonie, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter and a host of other relatives and her many friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 5 at Choctaw Church of Christ.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Christ World Bible Ministry at Choctaw Church of Christ.

Dallas Edwards
Dallas Edwards, 87, of Bee Branch died Wednesday, February 22, 2006 in Little Rock. He was born in Bee Branch on May 21, 1918 to the late Charlie Hamilton and Dovie Emaline Ward Edwards. He was preceded in death by his son, Lestal Edwards; by five brothers, Claude, Layman, Henry, Earl and Clifton Edwards; by one sister, Crilla Sohn, and by one grandchild. He was a member of the Steele Hopewell United Methodist Church.

Bonnie Stark
Bonnie Duane Stark, 83, died Saturday, April 25, 2009, at White County Medical Center in Searcy. He was born Dec. 6, 1925, in Edgemont to the late Claude and Lyda Victoria Barnum Stark.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Treece Blair Stark; sister, Angeline Bailey; and brother, Granville Stark. He is survived by his brother, Willie Dale and wife Eloise of Greers Ferry; four stepdaughters, Thelma (Jimmy) Murray and Margie (Tommy) Beckham, both of Shirley, Patsy (Jesse) Ward and Susan (Jim) Grillot, both of Clinton; four stepsons, Johnny Blair, Bill Blair, Bobby (Susie) Blair and Bruce (Alicia) Blair, all of Shirley; 12 step-grandchildren; and 16 step-great-grandchildren.
Service and interment 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at the Shiloh Crossroads Baptist Church and cemetery, Greers Ferry, Rev. Bobby Ward officiating. Arrangements by Olmstead Funeral Home, Heber Springs.

Frances Whitehead
Frances Margaret Whitehead, 76, of Scotland died Monday, April 20, 2009, at University of Arkansas Medical Center of Little Rock. She was born Jan. 22, 1933, at Camden, N.J., to the late Joseph and Sophie Potts Whylings.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter Karyl L. White. She is survived by her husband, Frederick G. Whitehead; son Richard W. Rex of Clinton; four daughters, Vonnie L. Rex and Jody L. Gadberry, both of Clinton, Robyn G. Lanwher (Ken) of Peoria, Ariz., and Karyn L. Wilbern of Choctaw; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Frank Whylings (Ethel) of Audubon, NJ.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton.

Wynetta Davis
Wynetta A. Davis, 73, of Clinton died Monday, April 20, 2009, at Conway Regional Health Systems. She was born Nov. 9, 1935, in Colo, Iowa, to Harold and Pauline (Troutner) Fines.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather, Earl Douglas and a sister, Verna Sass. She is survived by her husband Robert C. Davis of Clinton; a half brother; a stepbrother; and three sons.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton.

Denzil Ott Sr.
Denzil K. Ott Sr., 74, of Clinton died Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at Ozark Health Medical Center Clinton, He was born May 8, 1934, in Archey, a son of the Everett Tyler and Mattie Belle (Arnhart) Ott. He was owner/operator of the Clinton Theatre from 1962-1979. He and his family also owned Fins, Feathers & Furs Pet Shop and Otts' TV & Appliances, which served Clinton and the surrounding areas for over 40 years.
Survivors are his wife, Elsa Ott; children, Denzil Ott Jr., Pamela Ott, Sandra Main, Brenda Brown, Johnny Wilson and Marsha Traffanstedt; seven grandchildren; and sisters Charlotte and Iva.
Services are under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Clinton, 745-2151.

Henry Worsham
Henry Elliott Worsham Jr., 75, of Fairfield Bay died Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at Arkansas Hospice Care of Little Rock. He was born Dec. 29, 1933, in Concordia, Kansas, to the late Henry Elliott and Genieve Addie Brummett Worsham Sr.
He is preceded in death by his brother Dow Albert Worsham. He is survived by a sister, Mary Jane Gifford of Sherwood.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton.

Ica Watts
Ica Dile Watts, 83, of Clinton died Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Ozark Health Medical Center. She was born Oct. 29, 1925, to James Virgin and Virby Dile Gunter Crow. She was a member of Tilly Baptist Church, a school teacher in Searcy County and an employee of the shirt factory.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband James Earl Watts; son Robert Earl Watts; daughter Glenda Carol Riley; three sisters, Mae Smith, Edith Brown and Priscilla Myrick; three brothers, William Francis Crow, Edard James Crow and Oliver Crow. She is survived by five daughters, Annevah Louise Dixon (Willis) of Hector, Loveta Mae Pruitt (Clifford) of Scotland, Jewel Dean Threadgill, Christine Earlene Bagley (James) and Deborah Ann Tester (Chuck), all of Clinton; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Evangeline Fountain.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton with burial following at Archey Valley cemetery. Officiating the service will be pastor Dean Housley.

William Mackey
William Casey Lee Mackey, 32, died June 4, 2009, in Daisy. He was born Jan. 23, 1977, in Conway to Jimmy Ray and Debra Ann Holley Mackey.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Columbus and Reba Mackey, and J.D. Payne; and a brother, Cody Mackey. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Mackey of Nashville; three children, William Christian Ray Mackey, Destiny Rayann and Katlyn Hope Mackey of Bee Branch; one sister, Shelly Renee Ross and husband Michael of Nashville; one brother, J.R. Mackey of Clinton; and grandparents, Genevieve Payne of Clinton and W.H. Holley and wife Lana of Dierks.
Services were 11 a.m. June 11, 2009, at Trace Ridge Community Church and cemetery.
