Larry Wood
Larry Duane Wood, 57, of Fairfield Bay, passed away Dec. 9, 2013. He was born in Clinton and was an avid bluegrass musician, hunter, fisherman, Nascar fan and was a member of the VFW. He also honorably served his country in the Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Lee Wood and Addie Mae Johnson Wood, and his son, Abran Leroy Wood. Larry was also preceded in death by his in-laws, Albert and Deva Morris. He is survived by his wife, Katie Wood of the home; sons Jerry Wood and wife Shana of Shirley, Clayton Wood of Little Rock; daughters Miranda Morrison and husband Brent of Little Rock and Kayla Wood of Shirley; grandson Braxton Morrison of Little Rock; brothers James Wood and Jason Wood of Shirley; and sisters Debbie Veach of Mountain View and Doris Zimmerman of Washington, Ill.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at Shirley First Baptist Church 11 a.m. with Bro. Eddie Ragsdale and Bro. Timmy White officiating. Internment followed at Davis Special cemetery in Fairfield Bay. Funeral services entrusted to Clinton Funeral Service.

Wanda Weatherly
Wanda Alice Gray Weatherly has died in Broken Bow, Neb. She was born April 18, 1924.
She was preceded in death by husband Harry Harlan Weatherly and infant son Donald. Survivors include son Harlan Dean Weatherly (Corrine), daughter Sharron Liebhart (Freddy); nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren’
Wanda was active in Van Buren County EH Club and the Van Buren County Fair for 25 years before returning to Nebraska.

Guila Gay McHam
Guila Gay McHam, 64, of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away Friday, Aug. 14, 2015. She was born July 5, 1951, in Conway, Arkansas, to Jess Willard and Laverta Madge (Lewis) Baker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Gloria Kay Baker; husband of her children, Wendell Lee Crawford (daughters, Jennifer and Carrie). She later married James Alvin McHam and they were married for 30 years, (son, Frank McHam).
She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Fulks (Brent) of Morganton, Arkansas, and Carrie Schwandt (Martin) of Cabot, Arkansas; one stepson, Frank McHam (Melinda) of Bee Branch, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Sarah Blair Fulks, JW Lee, Allie Lee, Shasta Moseley, Wyatt McHam and Stormy McHam, and many close friends.
Gay loved visiting with friends and family, doing crossword puzzles, and gardening. She was of the Baptist faith.
Family will visit with Friends at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, and the Memorial Service will follow at 11 a.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas, with Pastor Johnny Evans Jr. officiating. Cremation and memorial arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton.

Dorothy Nelson
Dorothy L. Bradley Nelson, 80, of Caseyville, Illinois, passed away Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014. She was born March 29, 1934, in Shirley, Arkansas.
Dorothy enjoyed bowling, fishing, and the St. Louis Cardinals. She attended the Fairview Heights Church of Christ and was devoted to helping the elderly with special needs. She will be remembered as a loving wife and devoted mother of three children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rush and Anna (Chambers) Bradley; a grandson, Russell Elms; two brothers, Kenneth and Toby Bradley; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bob and Delores Nelson.
Surviving are her loving husband of 53 years, Richard Nelson; her children, Larry (Barbara) Elms of Highland, Illinois, Rita (Eric) Ehmke of Caseyville, and Ronnie (Cindy) Elms of Crandall, Texas; her grandchildren, Gayle Fisher, Lisa (Mark) Woodruff, Chris Wilson, Brent Wilson, Eric (Nicole Fitzgibbons) Wilson, Joey (Rachael) Elms, Amber (John) Garvin, Dawn (Brian) Porter, Eric Ehmke, and Sarah (Matt) Vogelsang; 21 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Willie Bradley, Bob (Betty) Bradley, Jim Bradley, Jerry (Mary) Bradley, and Gary (Becky) Bradley; sisters, Linda (Tom) Baker, Frankie (Buck) Treece, Betty (Jimmy) Shull, and Judy Moody; a brother-in-law, Robert (Paulette) Nelson; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Memorials are appreciated to Hospice of Southern Illinois or Fairview Heights Church of Christ.
Funeral was Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014, at Lake View Funeral Home. Interment in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.

Zachery Walters
Zachery David Walters, 19, of Bee Branch, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014. He was born Jan. 4, 1995, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to David Walters and Neva Nicole “Nikki” Glendenning.
He was preceded in death by his two grandfathers, Norman Walters and Jerry Glendenning; brother Dalton Walters; and a sister, Allison Walters. He is survived by his parents, David Walters of Damascus, Arkansas, and Nikki Walters of Bee Branch, Arkansas; two grandmothers, Agnes Walters and Martha Glendenning; and many close friends.
Pallbearers: Justin Jerrell, Mason Duncan, Jess Burris, Cade Brown, Cade Sawyer and Ty Hardy.
Honorary Pallbearers: Paxton Scott, Riley Roberson, Kelsey Cotton, Makayla Willis, Makall Mosley, Makenzie Mosley, Drew Payne and Josh Payne.
Visitation was 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, at South Side School Gym, Bee Branch, Arkansas, with Pastor C.W. Blood officiating. Burial will follow in Hardin cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Arkansas.

Eugene Wolf
Eugene Maxwell Wolf, 88, of Conway went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014. He was born Aug. 2, 1926, in Yachats, Oregon, to Eugene Maxwell Wolf and Viola A. Harrold Wolf. Mr. Wolf proudly served his country in the United State Air Force and Army National Guard. He was a member of House of Prayer church in Greenbrier.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Betty Ann Wolf; a son, Larry Wayne Wolf; a sister; and two brothers. Survivors include children Linda Bradley (Lance) of Conway, Randell Wolf of Clinton, Gary Wolf (Carla) of Dennard and Tanna Bostwick of Clinton. Other survivors include 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; his first wife, Christine Wolf; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
A memorial service was held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014, at House of Prayer with Bro. Denny Distin officiating. Arrangements by Bishop-Crites Funeral Home of Greenbrier (501) 679-4400

Edith Brooker
Edith Christian Morgan Brooker, 92, of Clinton, passed away Aug. 10, 2014, in Clinton, Arkansas.
Edith is survived by three daughters, Roberta Jean (Wahl) Brunelle of Ontario, California, Patricia Ann (Wahl) Petrosky and Sherry Anita (Wahl) Martin of Inglis, Florida. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Cremation services entrusted to Clinton Funeral Service of Clinton.

Doine Barnum
Doine Barnum, 86, of Shirley, Arkansas, passed away Friday, Jan. 2, 2015.
Survived by wife, Lucy Lavone Barnum of the home; daughter, Lisa Ann Barnum of Casa, Arkansas; sister, Helen Cullum of Choctaw, Arkansas; and many close friends.
Visitation 1 p.m. and service 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel, Clinton. Burial Eglantine cemetery. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Clinton.

Paul Compton
Paul Eloy Compton, 89, of Shirley, Arkansas, passed away Monday, Dec. 29, 2014. He was born March 29, 1925, in Parma, Arkansas, to George and Dona (Greenfield) Compton.
He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran and served in Germany. He held a BSE degree from Arkansas State Teachers College and worked 53 years in education. He was president and owner of business colleges in Texas and Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Richard Paul Compton, four brothers, and four sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Lois Berry Compton.
Memorial service was 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at First Baptist Church of Shirley, Arkansas. Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Arkansas.

Joseph Tebo
Joseph Adam Tebo, 76, of Clinton, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014. He was born April 20, 1938, in Oaklawn, Illinois, to Paul and Aussie (Floyd) Tebo. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church Clinton, Arkansas.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 1/2 years, Roberta “Bobbie” Tebo of the home; three sons, David Tebo (Donna) of Illinois, Tom Tebo (Betsy) of Texas, and James Tebo (Sharon) of Illinois; daughter Suzanne Bennett (Tommy) of Conway, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Stephanie Tebo, Jaimie Tebo, Alicia Tebo, Tyler Tebo, Christian Bennett, and Jennifer Stewart (Brandon); one great-grandchild, Olivia Stewart; and many close friends.
Pallbearers: Clarence Phillips, Mark Gammill, James Gammill, Jeffery Gammill, Chris Bates, and Richard Wysch.
Visitation was Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, and funeral service was 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel, Clinton, Arkansas, with Pastor Alan Nelson IV, Jeff Deckard, and Mack Litaker officiating. Burial was in Hunter Hill cemetery. Donations can be made to Arkansas Hospice, 1014 Markham Street, Conway, AR 72032. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Arkansas.

Robert Gimbel
Robert Thomas Gimbel, 83, of Damascus went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014. He was born April 2, 1931, in Hazelton, North Dakota, to the late Theophil and Barbara Mitzel Gimbel. Mr. Gimbel was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and had a passion for cattle farming.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Granger Stokenbury; two brothers; and three sisters. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Webb Gimbel; daughters Linda Lindsey and husband Mickey, Brenda Gay and husband Dwayne, Laura Ausbrooks and husband Philip; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Annetha Haid; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation was from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with service to follow at 2 p.m. Interment was at Lloyd cemetery.

Harvey Presley
Harvey Dee Presley, 73, of Wooster, passed away on Jan. 3, 2015. He was born in Morganton, Arkansas, on May 1, 1941, to the late Clarence and Cloie Presley. Harvey was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Donna Presley; sons, Jason (Rachel) Presley and Matthew (Brenda) Presley, both of Wooster; daughter Kim Sutterfield of Conway; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters Lorene Murphree, Mildred Barnum and Sharon Bartlett; brothers, Harry and Garry Presley; also many other loving family members and friends.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier, with Brother Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Carmichael, Ray Stell, David Murphree, Chris Hoover, Dustin Sutterfield and Andy Sutterfield. Visitation was Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
