Wilma Jane Wallace
Wilma Jane Wallace, 91, of Clinton, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015. She was born July 6, 1924, in Searcy, Arkansas, to the late James Franklin and Sarah Lelia (Parks) Mann.
Wilma lived in Searcy, Arkansas, in the early years of her life. She moved to Heber Springs, Arkansas, in 1967. She moved to Clinton, Arkansas, in 2002, where she lived at Lefler Estates until her illness forced her to move to Ozark Health Nursing Center in 2010.
Wilma loved to cook for her family, sew, quilt, and make rabbits with dresses, garden, travel, swim, and sing. She loved to read the Bible, books and her daily newspaper. She loved flowers, watching the hummingbirds and birds. She loved to travel and would often sing “On the Road Again” as her theme song. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club in Heber Springs and Clinton. Wilma was a member of First Baptist Church, Clinton, Arkansas. Wilma “let her light shine” to many friends and loved ones. She never met a stranger. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society at the Nursing Center. She was famous for saying “I love you more!” to anyone who visited her. Even through her illness, she adorned her famous trademarks: Red Lipstick, Red Fingernail Polish and her Jewelry.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, O.T. Wallace, Burnice Glover, James Mitchell and William F. Mitchell, grandson Ross Mitchell and one great-grandson, Benji Myers. Also preceding her in death were her brothers and sisters, Juanita Price, Woodrow W. Mann, Leo P. Mann, Calvin C. Mann, Irma J. Crowell, Betty L. Taylor and her half-sister, Delores (Dee) Brennan, and many nieces and nephews.
Wilma is survived by her children, William F. (Mitch) Mitchell Jr. (Janie), Judy A. Blanchard (John), Sarah J. Hutchins (Gary), James H. Glover (Reba), Linda J. Bailey, Barbara J. Smith (Kelvin), and Bernice Bonds (Keith). Also surviving her are her grandchildren, Ryan Mitchell (Stefanie), Connie Worthen, Tamala Glover, April Brown, Tracy Glover, Jimmy Glover, James Glover, Bernie Glover, Mitchell Byrd Jr., Melanie Smith, Lauren Smith, Garrett Smith, Lindsey Sierra (Anthony), Kylie Bonds and Lawson Bonds; great-grandchildren, Ratisha Wilkerson, Jonathan Uphold, William Mitchell, Gabbi Byrd, Brooke Byrd, Saylor Jane Sierra, Jeremiah Carpenter, Derrick Carpenter, Logan Fowler, Kirsten Kredio, Ariana Kredio, and Summer Pinnell. Wilma is also survived by her great-great-grandchildren, Hayden Wilkerson, Bryce Wilkerson, Chastin Carpenter and Kylee Kredio.
Pallbearers: Wilma’s Grandsons: Mitch Byrd, Ryan Mitchell, Lawson Bonds, Garrett Smith, Anthony Sierra, and Jonathan Uphold.
Honorary Pallbearers: John Blanchard, Carl Blanchard, Kelvin Smith, Keith Bonds, Gary Hutchins, Everett Wilkerson, and Ross Mitchell.
Funeral service was 2 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2015, at First Baptist Church in Clinton, Arkansas, with Pastors Faron Rogers and Kirk Hardy officiating. Music was by Steve Trawick and Peggy Hardy.
Burial was in Cleburne County Memorial Gardens, Heber Springs, Arkansas. Visitation was Saturday, July 25, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel, Clinton, Arkansas.
Memorials can be made to the Van Buren County Library, the Gideons, or the Ozark Health Nursing Activity Department.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Clinton, Arkansas.

Billy Gene Wilson
Billy Gene Wilson, 73, of Clinton, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015. He was born Jan. 14, 1942, in Bee Branch, Arkansas, to Donald Hugh and Verda Mae England Wilson. Billy spent his time with his family, fishing, deer hunting, having fish fries, and building bird houses. He also served our country in the United States Army.
Billy is survived by his wife of 53 years, Charlotte Patricia (Treat) Wilson, son Charles and wife Mistie Wilson, daughters Roberta and husband Tony McDougal, Vivian and husband Darrell Kelley, Carla Barrett, Charlotte Elizabeth Blaenk; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren. Billy is also survived by brothers Donald Leroy Wilson, Doyle W. Wilson, and sisters Mary Jo Wilson Moore, Janet Wilson Bruce and Sharon Wilson Bradford; and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, son Willis Wilson, brothers Wesley James and Howard E. Wilson.
Pallbearers are Shawn Wilson, Tyler Wilson, McKenzie Moran, Nathan Wilson, Billy Wilson and Brandon Rizzo. Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip Henderson and Dakota Henson.
Visitation was Saturday, July 25, 2015, from 5-7 p.m. at Clinton Funeral Service Chapel. Funeral services were Monday, July 27, 2015, at 12 p.m. in the Clinton Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Joe Dell Williams officiating. Burial was at Rambo (Thompson) cemetery in Leslie, Arkansas.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Clinton Funeral Service.

Robert Fred Rickard
Robert Fred Rickard Jr., 59, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015, at his home in Olympia, Washington, after a long struggle with brain and lung diseases. He was born Sept. 18, 1955, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Robert and Winnie (Hutson) Rickard.
Robert’s early childhood was spent on his beloved family homestead in Clinton, Arkansas. Robert was strong in his Christian faith and his love for others. He will always be remembered for his southern drawl and his love of the outdoors and great food. But most of all, Robert will be remembered as one of the proudest veterans this country has ever known.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert Fred Rickard Sr. He is survived by his wife, Jody-Anne; daughter Jennifer; son Robert; granddaughter Violet; mother Winnie Allen; brother David (Kristen) Rickard; sister Linda (Lonnie) Flannery; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In a private ceremony with military honors, Robert was placed to rest at Tahoma National cemetery on July 16, 2015.

Henry Calvin Poag
Henry Calvin (Cal) Poag, 92, of Rancho Cucamonga, California, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015. Henry was born at home in Los Angeles County, California, Jan. 18, 1923, to the late Egbert and Helena Poag. He entered the U.S. Army and served from 1941 to 1945 in the Philippines and Guadalcanal.
He married Juanita Keeran in 1946 and raised two children, Jack Morgan and Rebecca (Poag) Fort. He is also survived by Rebecca’s husband, Richard Fort, and two grandchildren, Tiffiney and Tammara Fort.
Henry and Juanita moved to Fairfield Bay in 1980 and lived there until Juanita’s death in 1988. They attended Maranatha Assembly of God in Shirley, Arkansas. Henry returned to California to be with his children and grandchildren where he went to be with the Lord.
He will be interred next to Juanita. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015, in Woodland Memorial Park, Highway 16 East, Fairfield Bay, Arkansas with Danny Mercer officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Arkansas.

Cary Max Monroe
Cary Max Monroe passed away July 5, 2015. He was born March 16, 1948, in Cordell, Oklahoma. He graduated from Clinton, Arkansas, High School in 1966. Cary was known by all as “The Bootman.”
Preceding him in death was his father, Max Monroe of Clinton, Arkansas; one nephew, Brandon Monroe of North Little Rock, Arkansas. Surviving him is daughter Cara Rollans of Conway, Arkansas; his mother, Mayme Monroe of Conway, Arkansas; his brother, Wes Monroe of North Little Rock, Arkansas; several nieces and cousins.
There will only be a private memorial service for family and closest friends.

Lisa Nichols-Brown
Lisa Arlen Nichols-Brown, 54, of Shirley, passed away July 10, 2015. She was born July 10, 1962, to Wilfred E. and Helen F. Carroll Brown. She was of the Baptist faith and she worked as a waitress.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Stacy and his wife Monica Nichols of Greenbrier; brother Marty Brown and his wife Jan of Springdale; sister Barbara Madewell and her husband Byron of Springdale. She is also survived by grandchildren Garrett Nichols of Clinton, Autumn King of Greenbrier, Kaylei King of Greenbrier, and Danny Bittle of Greenbrier; as well as several nieces and nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilfred W. and Helen F. Carroll Brown.
Services were Friday, July 17, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Alan Rolen officiating. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Clinton Funeral Service.

Carl F. Schmidt
Carl F. Schmidt, 92, of Shirley, Arkansas, passed away, Wednesday, July 22, 2015. He was born June 4, 1923, in Crown Point, Indiana, to the late Henry and Mayme Schmidt.
Carl was also preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Bixenman.
Carl was a WWII Veteran of the United States Army, 552nd Ordinance heavy equipment wrecker crewman 529, served in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Central Europe, and Ardennes campaigns. He was a gentle, kind, Christian man, who enjoyed fishing and camping. Carl called Golden Pond RV Park his home.
Carl is survived by his special friends, Phillip Butts and wife Courtney of Shirley, Arkansas.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Arkansas.

Bonnie Cutright
Bonnie Nona Cutright, 74, of Clinton, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015. She was born Dec. 15, 1940, at Formosa, Arkansas, to Christopher Columbus and Rebia Virginia (Dempsey) Mackey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Christopher Columbus and Rebia Virginia (Dempsey) Mackey, brother Therral Mackey, and brother Jimmy Ray Mackey.
She is survived by two sons, Travis Cutright and Timothy Cutright, both of Laveen, Arizona; one daughter, Shalene Cutright of Clinton, Arkansas; two sisters, Martha Sue Oyler of Clinton, and Joyce Marlene Mackey of Iowa; one brother, C.L. Mackey of Clinton; nine grandchildren, Ashley Cutright, Daniel Cutright, Colton Cook, Kendra Cutright, Chase Cook, Teddy Cutright, Deuce Cutright, Bubz Cutright and Rayann Cutright; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and friends.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Clinton, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Hunter Hill cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Clinton, Arkansas.

John Green
John Timon Green, 81, of Clinton, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015. He was born Jan. 2, 1934, at Morrilton, Arkansas. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Clinton, Arkansas. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Arkansas.

Alvin Bradford
Alvin Russell Bradford, 66, of Shirley, passed away July 15, 2015. He was born September 22, 1948, in Lonoke, Arkansas, to Virginia Sue Thomas Bradford. He loved to garden, fish, go swimming, spend time with his grandkids. Alvin was also known for loving to be outdoors and cooking breakfast for his family.
Alvin is survived by his wife, Leta Bradford; daughter Shanean Fulbright and Randy of Shirley, and son Don Fulbright and Sonja. He is also survived by grandchildren Brittany Sanders, Abby Sanders, D.C. Fulbright, Codi Manville, Annie Fulbright, Hunter Hutto, Leta Fulbright and Linda Fulbright. Alvin is also survived by brother Darrell Williams of Morrilton and sister Lydia Williams of Clinton as well as many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Alvin was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Jean, Nicky and Brenda.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Clinton Funeral Service.
