Shirley Knight, 75, of Shirley, passed away Sept. 16, 2014.
Visitation w as Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Clinton Funeral Service Chapel. Services were 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, with Bro. Lynn Garmroth officiating, at Clinton Funeral Service Chapel with interment at Bradford cemetery in Shirley. Pallbearers were Shirley’s grandsons. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Clinton Funeral Service.
Robert Hill Sr.
Robert W. Hill Sr., age 74, of Morrilton, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014. He was born April 12, 1940, in Center Ridge, Arkansas, son of Willie J. Hill and Millie Anderson Hill. Robert was a U.S. Army Veteran, retired Corporal for the Arkansas State Police, and former patrolman for the Morrilton Police Department. He was a member of Robinson and Center Church of Christ in Conway.
He is survived by his wife, Alta Lawson Hill of Morrilton; son, Robert W. Hill Jr. (Pam) of Fayetteville; daughter, Robin Coker (Roger) of Searcy; two sisters, Von Jackson of Little Rock and Henrietta Pruitt of Morrilton; grandchildren, Joel Ward, Acacia Johnson (Sean), Hannah Coker, Colton, Dakota and Audrey Hill; and two great-grandchildren, Myrissa and Gabby Johnson.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 1, at Robinson and Center Church of Christ in Conway with Steve Norris and Dr. Bruce Bryant officiating. Committal services were 2:30 p.m. at Grandview cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
Pallbearers were Sam Shannon Jr., Sgt. Tim Carter, Wesley Pruitt, Mark Ashley, Mark Copeland, Randy Hudgeons and Stacy Peters.
Honorary Pallbearers were the Arkansas State Police.
Oid Roberson
Oid Ulyess Roberson, 87, of Clinton, Arkansas, passed away Monday, Aug. 4, 2014. He was born July 20, 1927, in Shirley, Arkansas, to Thomas Jefferson and Rena (Hensley) Roberson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Thelma Jean (Tillery) Roberson; and three brothers, Opie Roberson, Dale Roberson and Donald Ray Roberson.
He is survived by his children, Jim and Sharon Roberson, of Cabot, Arkansas, Jerry and Erma Roberson of Bee Branch, Arkansas; Billy Roberson, Allen Dale and Morgan Roberson and Mary and Richard Stripling, all of Clinton, and Brenda and Dennis Decker of Morrilton, Arkansas; 28 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sister Dana and Raymond Huggins of Clinton, Arkansas; brother Jimmy Ray and Carol Roberson of Stuttgart, Arkansas; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends.
Pallbearers: Greg Roberson, Brent Roberson, Jeff Roberson, Shannandoa Capps, Riley Roberson, Wasper Roberson, Jeremiah Roberson, Cole Roberson, Blake Stripling, Denny Decker and Isaac Decker.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. and funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, at First Assembly of God Church Clinton, Arkansas, with Pastor Michael Roberson officiating. Burial will follow in Crabtree cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Arkansas.
Emily Hutchison
Emily Renee Hutchison, 19, of Clinton, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014. She was born Dec. 24, 1994, in Waco, Texas, to Christopher Hutchison and Shalene Colleen Lorey.
She is survived by her parents, Shalene Dempsey of Clinton, Arkansas, and Christopher Hutchison of Axtell, Texas; three sisters, Jessica Lorey, Allisyn Lorey and Hannah Hutchison; three brothers, Zach Hutchison, Quintin Hutchison and Derrick Hutchison; grandfather, Richard Lorey; grandmother, Dora Lewis; uncles, J.R. Lorey and Jeremy Vinskus; many other uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by Eileen Lorey, Kathleen Lorey, William Dale Lewis, Thomas Lee Armstrong, Jennifer Eileen Stokes, Aaron Patrick Aszmann, and Eva Denise Smithart.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Arkansas.
John Farrell
John Farrell, 67, of Shirley, Arkansas, passed away Friday, Aug. 1, 2014. He was born Dec. 11, 1946, at Buffalo, Texas, to Charles Griffin and Gladys Mary (Morris) Farrell.
John was a retired U.S. Army veteran and served in the Vietnam War and Desert Storm. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church of Shirley, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Gladys Farrell, and a brother, Jay Farrell. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Ward of Alexandria, Indiana, Myra Willeford of Conway, Arkansas, and Shirley Hensley of Shirley, Arkansas; many nieces, nephews, close friends and neighbors.
Honorary Pallbearers: Zane Ward, Jimmy Murray, Tommy Dean Collins and Al Micum.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, at Shady Grove Baptist Church, Shirley, Arkansas, with Pastor Alan Rolen officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove cemetery with U.S. Army Military Honors.

James Bowman
James “Lank” Bowman, 98, of Little Rock, Arkansas, formerly of Formosa Community passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014. He was born March 14, 1916, in Formosa, Arkansas, to Joseph and Mirtie (Bryant) Bowman.
He was a member of the Formosa Church of Christ and was employed by Petit Jean Electric Cooperative.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Erma Lee Bowman; daughter Juliaette Bowman; and a sister, Bernice Bell.
He is survived by his son-in-law, William Clark of Mabelvale, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Tammy Pierce and husband Donavan, and James Clark; three great-grandchildren, Emily Pierce, Natalie Pierce and Braden Pierce; nieces; nephews; and close friends.
Pallbearers: William Clark, Bryan Bell, and Kenneth Bell, Donavan Pierce, Tim Honeycutt.

Judy Harper
Judy Harper, age 70, died Thursday, July 17, 2014, at her home in Conway, Arkansas. She was born May 7, 1944, in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Hulen and Willie “Bill” Mae (Giddens) McKim. She was also preceded in death by a beloved son, Justin Harper.
Judy is survived by her husband of 44 years, Delwyn “Gene” E. Harper; a son, Monty Harper and wife Melissa of Conway, Arkansas; a daughter, Paula Nixon and husband Leland of Bee Branch, Arkansas; a twin sister, Jackie Rea and husband Jon of Conway; and a brother, Jim McKim of Conway. Other survivors include granddaughter Alison Schenebeck and husband Tyler of Conway, granddaughter Michelle Glover and husband Leonard of Conway, grandson Timothy Nixon of Bee Branch, granddaughter Taylin Harper of Greenbrier, Arkansas, great-granddaughter Piper Schenebeck of Conway and other relatives and friends.
Funeral service was 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014, in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway, with Pastors Joe and Dee Tapp officiating. Interment was at Bee Branch cemetery, Bee Branch, Arkansas. Visitation was Monday, July 21, 2014, at the funeral home.
Johnie Huie
Johnie W. Huie, 91, of Clinton, Arkansas, passed away Friday, July 25, 2014. He was born Nov. 16, 1922, in Clinton, to John Daniel and Bertha (Bramlett) Huie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Irene Huie; son Johnie Garland Huie; son-in-law Kenneth Tumbleson; four grandchildren, Weston Huie, Margarita Perez, Carloyn and Mikal Tackett; six sisters; and three brothers.
He is survived by his three children, Dwight Huie and Wesley Huie, both of Clinton, Arkansas, and Sandra Tumbleson of Leslie, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Pallbearers: Junior Tedder, Wayne Bramlett, Hershel Bramlett, Wilber Bramlett, Johnnie French.
Visitation was Monday, July 28, 2014, and funeral service was 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel, Clinton, Arkansas, with Pastors Tommy Jolly and Bob Bagley officiating. Burial with U.S. Navy Military Honors was in Dennard cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Clinton, Arkansas.
Scott Keeling
Riley Scott Keeling, 63, of Little Rock and formerly of Clinton, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014, after an extended illness.
He was a retired United States Secret Service agent with 22 years of service. He was also a former board member for the Arkansas Chapter of Safari Club International.
Scott was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was known for his great love of children and for his entertaining stories of his life experiences. Many people found him to have an intimidating exterior; those who knew him knew that he had the biggest heart.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Susie; adored daughters Alicia Keeling Moss (Josh) and Alison, and son David; sister Terry; and grandchildren Darrin and Madi Moss. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Darwin Keeling and Merle Williams Keeling.
A memorial service was held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at First Baptist Church, Clinton, 211 First Baptist Road Clinton, Arkansas. Former members of the Clinton Black Baseball Team coached by Scott were asked to be honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the National Kidney Foundation Inc., the Alzheimer’s Association or a charity of your choice.
Doyce Stevenson
Doyce Gene Stevenson, 75, of Damascus, Arkansas, passed from this life on July 27, 2014. He was born on March 1, 1939, to the late Roy and Vivian Holland Stevenson in Damascus.
Doyce was a member of the Masons Doric Lodge 471, a Baptist by faith, and had retired from Nabholz Construction. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors hunting and fishing.
Doyce is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Wincie Hutchins Stevenson; their children, Doug Stevenson (Regina), Carlos Stevenson (Robbie), and Melanie Crider (Doug); eight grandchildren, Jonathan Stevenson, Dustin Stevenson, Hampton Stevenson, Cole Crider, Samantha Smith, Lane Crider, Kristen Reed, and Aaron Stevenson; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Roby Burdin, Kay Ivy and Susan Jordan; one brother, Glen Stevenson; and a host of other family members and friends. He was also preceded in death by two siblings, Johnny Stevenson and Bernice Linn.
Funeral service was 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier, Arkansas; burial with Masonic Rites followed at Pine Mountain cemetery in Damascus. Visitation was at the funeral home on Monday evening.
