Jan Terry
Jan Douglas Terry was born on March 8, 1943, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and died June 12, 2014, at Warner Robins Rehabilitation Center in Warner Robins, Georgia. His parents, Robbie and Everett Terry of Clinton preceded him in death. Jan served two years in the U.S. Military and worked as a nurse and caregiver for several years. After traveling the world, Jan finally settled and lived in Clinton. He is survived by two sisters, Jeannine Watson of Shirley and Sharon Collson of Collegedale, Tennessee; two daughters, Melody Davidson of Georgia and Misty Woerner of Colorado; five grandchildren; aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces; and nephews. Interment: Killgore cemetery, Birdtown, Arkansas. Jan will be missed by family and friends, but we have the hope of seeing him on the Resurrection Morning when Jesus comes to take us home.
Clifford White
Clifford Arlie White, 98, of Sandwich, Illinois, passed away Sept. 25, 2014, at his home. He was born on Dec. 22, 1915, to Warner and Leona (Carroll) White in Shirley, Arkansas.
He was raised by his grandparents, Isaac and Martha Carroll after his mother’s passing at the age of 2. He married
Naoma Hedgespeth on Jan. 20, 1944, at the Federated Church in Sandwich and was happily married
for the next 70 years. He served in the Army in WWII as a Sergeant and served under General Patton.
He worked for the Michigan Wisconsin Pipeline (Trans Canada). He was an avid gardener and raised sweet potatoes. He built several homes in Sandwich and had built a vacation home on Greers Ferry Lake in Arkansas. He enjoyed building windmills and they are scattered all over Sandwich.
He is survived by his wife Naoma; his children Pamela (Joe) Hott of Marseilles, Illinois, Joanne Bark and Melinda (Jack) Neumann of Sandwich, Illinois; two sisters, Willie (Shorty) Sullins and Stella (Freland) Rice, both of Ball Knob, Arkansas; one brother, Hobert of Jeffersonville, Indiana; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents and a son Charles White who passed away in 1995, and son-in-law Don Bark.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 29, 2014, at the Beverage Family Funeral Home in Sandwich, Illinois, with Rev. Sam Hamstra officiating. Interment was at Oak Ridge cemetery will full military honors. Arrangements were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home, Sandwich, Illinois
Louise Anderson
Louise Anderson, 56, of Clinton, passed away December 22, 2014. She was born April 18, 1958, to Vaughn and Martha Bramlett Kirkendoll. Louise spent her career working at the Health Department for the Arkansas Department of Health and was a member of Clinton Church of Christ.
Louise is preceded in death by her father, Vaughn Kirkendoll, and son Jeremy Kirkendoll. Louise is survived by husband Barry Anderson of Clinton, daughters Danielle and husband Tim Blazer of Greenbrier, Arkansas, Josie Leigh Pruitt of Clinton, Arkansas, Heather Anderson of Greenbrier, Arkansas and Shannon Anderson of Dennard, Arkansas. Louise is also survived by sister Linda Teague of Shirley and brothers Dale Kirkendoll, David Kirkendoll, Jimmy Kirkendoll and Jeff Kirkendoll, as well as 11 grandchildren and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Clinton Funeral Service. Services will be Wednesday, December 24, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Clinton Church of Christ with Ministers Forrest Smith and Stan Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Pee Dee cemetery.

Maxine Cullum
Maxine L. Cullum, 87, of Shirley, Arkansas, died December 20, 2014. She was born January 16, 1927, in Shirley to James and Ruth Johnson.
preceded in death by husband Ervin; two daughters; three sisters; four brothers. Survivors: son, Carl Cullum (Kathy) of Michigan; daughter, Carol Edwards of Shirley; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Norma New and Sue Bailey; four brothers, Bill, Jack, Dale, Benny Johnson.

Ernestine Bradford
Ernestine Bradford, 89, of Bee Branch, Arkansas, passed away, Monday, December 15, 2014. She was born April 2, 1925, at Damascus, Arkansas, to Henry Luther and Mary Ann (Duncan) Lee.
She was a member of the Mount Zion General Baptist Church at Morganton Community. She loved her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved her Shetland ponies for the grandchildren. She enjoyed working at the poultry processing plant in Clinton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Floyd B. Bradford; granddaughter, Rebecca DeAnn Bradford and grandson, Mark Allen Bradford.
She is survived by her two sons, Carrol Bradford and wife Jody of Bee Branch, Arkansas, and Gordon Bradford and wife Kathy of Drasco, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Michael Bradford (Melody), Chad Bradford (Rachel), Matthew Bradford (Jessica), and Clay Bradford (Angie); one step-grandson, Jake Reynolds (Aleisha); one step-granddaughter, Mica Gunter (Carrol); eight great-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Erma Cunningham of Illinois, Marie Fletcher of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and Johnny Stalter of Cabot, Arkansas; two half brothers, Ricky Lee of Cabot, and Johnny Lee of North Little Rock, Arkansas; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Pallbearers: Michael Bradford, Chad Bradford, Matthew Bradford, Clay Bradford, Trae Bradford, Wade Bradford, Logan Bradford, and Jake Reynolds.

Carolyn Partee
Carolyn Partee, 68, of Clinton, Arkansas, died in Little Rock, Arkansas, at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center on December 20, 2014. She was born November 4, 1946, in Fox, Arkansas, to Charles and Edith (Berry) Johnson.
Carolyn was a homemaker, and a member of the Rabbit Ridge Church of Christ in Bee Branch. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Orby Partee of Clinton; children, Beth Stevens and husband Brock of Clinton, Brad Partee and wife Susan of Jonesboro, and Jon Partee of Clinton; grandchildren, Tyler, Carlea and Logan Stevens, and Ryan, Hayden and Mason Partee; two sisters, Charlene Risner and husband Ronnie, and Peggy Barch and husband Joe. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Edith Johnson.
Visitation was Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Rabbit Ridge Church of Christ in Bee Branch, Arkansas, with the funeral service following. Officiating was by Brother Randy Frazier. Congregational winging was led by Brother Jim Edwards. Interment was in Culpepper cemetery in Clinton, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were Tom Adams, Burle Fortenberry, Jason Schoenholz, David Barch, Chris Green, and Michael Green.

Lorene Black
Lorene Imogene Black, “Granny Black,” age 90, passed away December 15, 2014, in Conway, Arkansas. Born September 2, 1924, in Scotland, Arkansas, to the late Roy and Izora Love Hill, Granny worked as a waitress and cook earlier in life.
Granny had many things she enjoyed in her life, but especially loved playing pinochle, cooking, attending her home church, the Scotland Lighthouse Christian Fellowship Church, and touching lives everywhere she went.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Roy Black of Scotland, Laverne Eads and friend Jim Entwistle of Scotland, Jonetta Cantaloupe of Scotland, Jimmy (Bowie) Black and Laurie of Scotland, Genevieve McCoy and husband Charlie of Scotland and daughter- in-law Carol Jean Black. Granny is also survived by 16 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren as well as many other family and friends. Lorene is proceeded in death by her parents; husband, James D. Black; sons Jerry R. Black, James Black Jr. and Douglas Wayne Black; daughter and son-in-law Laura June Preslar and Randy Preslar and a son-in-law, Daniel R. Cantaloupe.

Norma Tacker
Norma Tacker, 80, of Clinton, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014. She was born Aug. 31, 1934, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Mark Ray and Venus Ellis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Tacker Sr.; Hughes Charles Tacker (Ricky), Johnny Ray Tacker Sr., Christopher Lynn Tacker, and Brent Alvin Sweeten. She is survived by her children, Martha Sweeten, Mary Wilbanks, James and Cindy Tacker Sr., and Tina Denham; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Jesse Cooley
Jesse W. Cooley, 79, of Clinton, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014. Born July 21, 1935, in Clinton to Elmer and Ethel (Blair) Cooley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, one sister, grandson Michael McLlvee. He is survived by wife Linda; three sons, Dustin, Jesse and Randy; two daughters, Glenda McLlvee and Anita Vielma; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters.
Funeral service was 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2014, at Immanuel Baptist Church. Burial Plant cemetery.
Olin Staton
Olin Gene Staton, 85, of Shirley, passed away Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, at his home. Born Oct. 25, 1929, to the late Chester and Ethel Reed Staton in Noble County, Indiana, Olin is a retired U.S. Army veteran with 21 years of service and retired from retail sales.
During his military career, Olin served as part of the occupation force in Europe in Frankfurt, Germany, served during the Korean Conflict, and piloted a twin engine helicopter in Vietnam for a special forces assault company.
After retirement, he was a 50-year member of the American Legion where he was a past commander, Past President of the Stones Trace Historical Society in Indiana, loved gardening, reading, and the late night news.
Olin is survived by his wife of 64 years, Margaret Staton of the home; three daughters, Cindy, Melody and Valorie; six grandchildren, Tabitha, Shawn, Charity, Granger, Nathan and Harmony; six great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Olin is proceeded in death by two brothers, Robert and John Staton; and two sisters Barbara and Donna Bell Staton
