Earl Leo Wilhite

59, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away October 17, 2009 at his home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. He was born February 10, 1950 in Lincoln, Arkansas, the son of Orvel and Syble Hite Wilhite.

Leo retired from the United States Army after 24 years of service.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Victor Neal Wilhite and one sister, Neva Wilhite;

Survivors include three children, Kandi Holderly and her husband, Lee Graham of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, Karla Fisher of Prairie Grove, Arkansas and Kevin Wilhite of Fairmont, Oklahoma; one sister, Erma Jean Martin and her husband, Leonard of Decatur, AR; one sister in law, Nita Wilhite; four grandchildren, Christopher, Kimberly, Jimmie and Lane.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2009 - 10:00 A.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas with Bobby Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in Edmiston cemetery near Morrow, Arkansas.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Anna “Janette” Green

84, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away October 10, 2009 in Springdale, Arkansas, She was born January 5, 1925 at Cane Hill, Arkansas, the daughter of William James and Mary Etta (Little) Snodgrass.

Janette was a member of The Sanctuary (United Pentecostal Church) of Lincoln. She loved to garden and canned her own food that she raised. She loved and enjoyed cooking and having people over for dinner her specialty was her delicious fried chicken and her special canned green beans topped off with homemade apple pie. Her grandsons could eat a whole one at one setting. She really enjoyed her flowers, roses were her favorite. She loved good old time gospel music and going to church and she loved to testify of Gods blessings. She was a praying and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was loved by all who knew her. She always smiled and enjoyed playing games and laughing with her family and friends. Among her favorite places to eat was Catfish Hole and Sonic. She was an excellent cook and cared deeply for her family and friends. She was always taking her neighbors food, they all bragged on her cooking and was always happy to see her come, most of her early years she cooked on wood stoves. Janette and Cyrus was married for 66 years.

Survivors include her husband, Cyrus Green of the home; four sons, Bobby Darrell Green of Cane Hill, Arkansas, Kenneth Dale Green and wife Linda of Houston, Texas, Dennis Ray Green and wife Theda of Anna, Texas, and Randy Eugene Green of Zephyrhills, Florida; two daughters, Betty Lou Green and Linda Sue Hassell both of Lincoln, Arkansas; one sister, Dorothy Flanary of Oakley, California; nine grandchildren, Charles Baldwin, Sandra Willis, Shane Green, Vonetta Naquin, Daren Green, Tina Hockenberry, Britian Green, Jason Green and Andrea Green; seventeen great grandchildren, Cameron Baldwin, Casey Baldwin, Jennifer Willis, Jon Willis, Joshua Kelley, Kenlie Naquin, Kelsie Naquin, Keaton Baldwin, Kenton Baldwin, Gavin Baldwin, Kadi Green, Kaci Green, Kali Green, Jaylin Green, Cory Hockenberry, Nick Hockenberry, and Rayan Hockenberry.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday night at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2009 - 11:00 A.M. at The Sanctuary (United Pentecostal Church) Lincoln, Arkansas, with Rev. John Hassell and Rev. David McBride officiating. Burial will be in Cox cemetery Morrow, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Charles Baldwin, Daren Green, Steve Willis, Britian Green, Shane Green and Jason Green.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

H.K. "Ballie" Brown

90, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord on October 12, 2009 in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born July 28, 1919 in Hazel Valley, Arkansas, the son of Robert Corbe and May Corene Carter Brown.

Ballie served in the United States Army during World War II from 1942-1945 in Company A 68d Armored Infantry Battalion. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 171 in Lincoln, Arkansas. In 1997 he was awarded the 50 year certificate for appreciation for faithful and dedicated allegiance to the Ideals of the American Legion. He loved to hunt, fish and sing.

He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Lincoln, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Corbe, his mother, May, two brothers, Artie Lee “Mutt” Brown and Archie Thurman Brown, one sister, Agnes Ellen Brown.

Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years, Grace Reed Brown of the home; one son, Gary Lee Brown and his wife, Sharon, of Salpupa, Oklahoma; two daughters, Colene Hoaldridge and her husband, Hank of Burelson, Texas and Jolleen Adams and her husband, Greg of Bethel Heights, Arkansas; one brother, John P. Brown of Lowell, Arkansas; two sisters June Reed of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Hazel Reed of Lincoln, Arkansas, ten grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Ballie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be greatly missed by those left behind.

Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 1:00-8:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 15, 2009 - 10:00 A.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas with Herman Cox officiating. Burial will be in Reese cemetery near Clyde, Arkansas, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Kermit Brown, Cary Brown, Bart Sturdy, Sean Adams, Chad Adams and Rodney Quickle.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Harold Leo Reed, Tommy Reed, Van Jay Reed, Mike Brown, Terry Reed, Marty Brown.

Special Honorary Pallbearer will be Bill Collins.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Coleton Dale Magnuson

Coleton Dale Magnuson, 20 months, died October 9, 2009 at his home in Lowell. He was born January 30, 2009, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the son of Josh Dale and Crystal Nicole Cluck Magnuson. Coleton loved his baby doll and his monkeys.

He is survived by his parents, Josh and Crystal Magnuson, of the home; his paternal grandparents: Sharon and Craig Goettsch and Rick and Julie Magnuson; his maternal grandparents: Maurice Cluck and Rhonda and Brad Pace; his great grandparents: Loree Boyd, Virginia Cluck, Piney Luper and Donna Drake.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 12, 2009, at 1:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Lowell, with Josh Hall and Jeremy Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda cemetery, in Morrow, Arkansas, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Sunday form 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at Memorial Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Matt Cluck, Chad Coleman, Chase Sutherland and David Carter.

Wilma Dean Whiteley

84, went home to be with the Lord October 1, 2009 at her home in Rogers, AR. She was born February 5, 1925 in Hepler, Kansas the daughter of Leslie and Anna Gregory.

She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Rogers and the wife of John F. Whiteley, who was a Pastor in the NW Arkansas area for 36 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Whiteley and one son, Gary Whiteley.

Survivors include Gary's wife, Jerry Ann Whiteley of Springdale, one son Grady Whiteley and his wife Teresa, of Wesley, AR, two daughters, Deanna Walker of Rogers, and Melesa Daugherty and husband David of Rogers, eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 am Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be at Dutch Mills cemetery near Lincoln, AR.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 pm today October 2 at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Circle of Life Hospice or First Baptist Church of Rogers.

Jeanne Marie Cary Rigler

55, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away September 4, 2009 at her home near Lincoln, Arkansas, following a battle with cancer. She was born February 13, 1954 in Springdale, Arkansas, the daughter of Bobby L. and Gladys Marie Weber Cary.

Survivors include her parents, of Springdale, Arkansas; three sisters, Linda Thornburgh and late husband Clifford, Barbara Bowman and husband Frank, and Bobbi Sue Bowman and husband Sam all of Springdale, Arkansas; eight nieces and nephews, one great-niece and one great-nephew.

Memorials may be made to the Springdale Animal Services 321 E. Randall Wobbe Lane Springdale, AR 72764 % Brett Harris.

A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
