Charles Edward Grimes

Charles Edward Grimes, 76, of Clinton, was born March 17, 1939, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to the late Henry E. and Agnes (Bonner) Grimes and went to be with his Lord on Sunday, February 7, 2016 in Clinton.

He worked in nursing and for Terminix, retiring from Terminix.

Charles was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, and was a 32nd degree Mason with membership at the Choctaw and Scotland lodges.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Henry Grimes, Jr.; and a son, Randy Grimes.

Left to his memory are his wife, Laura (Pate) Grimes of the home; one sister, Ida Dickey of Bono, Arkansas; two sisters-in-law: Ruth Ann Pate of Morrilton, Arkansas, and Wilma Grimes of Sherwood, Arkansas; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2016, at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday, February 11, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Brother Sam Brown and Brother Allen Nelson officiating.

Interment will be at Clinton cemetery with Masonic Rites.

Pallbearers include Vaughn Wisdom, Mike Barnes, Stan Wilhite, Ronnie Baker, Chad Bailey and Shawn Pate.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Masons.

The family would like to express special thanks to Ozark Health and Rehabilitation as well as the medical staff of Ozark Health Medical Center, both in Clinton, for their wonderful care given to Charlie.

Funeral Arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas.

Garry Lynn Brock

Garry Lynn Brock, 61, of Alread passed away February 1.

He was born December 12, 1954 to Lenzil and Retha Godfrey Brock in Senath, MO.

He was a retired truck driver, a member of Bethel Community Church and loved to garden.

Garry is survived by wife, Eva Brock, of the home; mother Retha Brock, brother Larry (Lori) Brock, sister-in-law Touche Coffman, nieces and nephews Erica Ward, Frankie Ward, Beverly Lawrence, Will Coffman, Erin Barfield, Billy Barfield, Savannah Coffman; great-nieces and nephews Rylan Ward, Landan Ward, Dakota Brock, Skyler Barfield; many other family and friends.

preceded in death by father, Lenzil Brock, siblings Terry, Jerry, Regina and Michael Brock and great-niece, Alissa.

Visitation is Wednesday, February 3, at 1:00 pm at Rupert Baptist Church with services following at 2 pm with Brothers CW Henderson and Allan Brock officiating.

Burial following in Pleasant Grove cemetery in Alread.

Services entrusted to Clinton Funeral Service.

Earlon Anthony Krzeszinski

Earlon Anthony Krzeszinski, 87, of Shirley, Arkansas, was born on Dec. 25, 1928, to the late William Boyd and Gertrude (Scott) Krzeszinski in Cypress Inn, Tennessee and passed from this life on Feb. 5, 2016 at his home in Shirley.

He was a WWII and Korean War Navy veteran, a lifelong member of the VFW, a member of the Shirley Fire Department, a prominent builder in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, and long-time resident of Shirley.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 39 years, Stormy Anne, of the home; three sons: Robert Krzeszinski (Evelyn) of Conway, Arkansas, Richard Neil Krzeszinski of Conway, Arkansas, and Steven Berry of Shirley, Arkansas; one daughter, Linda Haley of Shirley, Arkansas; three grandsons: Jeff Krzeszinski (Jing), Willie Krzeszinski, and Patrick Haley; one great grandson, Jack Krzeszinski; three sisters: Elizabeth Jane Ullman (Leo), Billie Jean Montoya, and Ginger Myers (Chris) all of Kansas City, Missouri.

A memorial service will be held in his honor at a later time.

Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas.

Billie Sue Roberson

Billie Sue Roberson, 81, of Clinton, was born on March 14, 1935 in Shirley, Arkansas to the late Hobert and Mildred (Weaver) Hooten and went to be with her Lord on March 21, 2016 in Clinton.

She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was loved by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl Lee Roberson, and one sister, Betty Teer.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons; Carlton Roberson (Maria) of Clinton and Roy Roberson of Visalia, California, one daughter, Kathy Mackey (C.L.) of Clinton, five grandchildren; Heath Windsor, Britnay Roberson (Tyler), Derrick Evans, Susan Evans, Johnny Evans, three great-grandchildren; Amelia Sowers, Tinley Wilbers, Presley Windsor, other family and many friends.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2016 in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, AR.

Funeral services will follow at 11:00am on Thursday at the funeral home with Bobby Doyne Ward officiating.

Interment will be at the Eglantine cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, AR.

Jerry Frank Evans

Jerry Frank Evans, 59, of Clinton, passed away on March 18, 2016.

He was born on August 2, 1956, in Clinton, Arkansas, a son of Carroll Burton and Frances Jean Woodell Evans.

Jerry enjoyed raising cattle on the family farm on Evans Mountain, managing his mini-storage and laundry, hunting, spending time with his friends at the feed store and taking long naps with his grandkids.

Left to cherish his memory, are his wife, Marsha Davis Evans of Clinton; one son, Jim Rose and wife Beth of Clinton; two daughters Alisha Stripling and husband Ryan of Clinton and Mallory Preddy and husband Corey of Clinton; and his grandchildren Alexis Atwell, Landon Rose, Keegan Rose, Davis Stripling, Anna Claire Stripling, Lynleigh Preddy and Raelynn Preddy.

Also surviving are three brothers Jim Evans and wife Jayne of Clinton, John Evans and wife Barbara of Hendersonville, Tennessee, and Jack Evans and wife Shon of Carlisle, AR; one sister Jeannie Moore and husband Tracy of Conway; two sister-in-laws Carole Evans and Sandra Bradley and husband Phil of Clinton; brother-in-law Rod Davis and wife Kathy of Damascus; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family and close friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Joe Don Evans; a sister Linda Gail Evans, his maternal grandparents, Louis and Bertha Woodell; his paternal grandparents, Burton and Thora Evans; and a brother-in-law, Sam Davis.

Visitation was Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 4:00pm at Friendship Baptist Church.

Funeral services were on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 10:00 am at Friendship Baptist Church with Larry Loggins and Kirk Hardy officiating.

Burial followed at Evans cemetery, located on the family farm on Highway 16 West in Clinton.

Pall Bearers were Jim Rose, Jim Evans, John Evans, Jack Evans, Tracy Moore, Ryan Stripling, and Corey Preddy.

Arrangements entrusted to Clinton Funeral Service.

Maria Carmen Olvera

Maria Carmen Olvera, 83, of Clinton, passed away June 18, 2016.

She was October 28, 1932, in Santa Maria Del Rio in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

She was a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church and loved singing, playing cards, and cooking.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Juan Olvera, Maria Guadalupe Melendez, Margarita Espinoza, Martin Melendez, Reyna Frazer, Atilano Melendez and Santa America Hernandez; siblings Francisco Olvera and Cipriano Olvera; numerous grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Abdon Olvera and Trinidad Gonzalez; and siblings Sebastian Olvera, Esther Guerrero, Albertano Olvera, Adela Olvera, and Alfredo Olvera.

Rosary Services will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Clinton Funeral Service Chapel.

Memorial Services will be Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church with Father Oliver O’chieze officiating.

Arrangements entrusted to Clinton Funeral Service.
