Will Gill
Will Gill, 91, of Turrell died April 16, 2003, at the Crittenden Memorial Hospital in West Memphis.
Gill was born July 4, 1911 in Hardemann County, Tenn. and was a farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church in Turrell.
He is preceded in death by Ruby Mae Gill.
He is survived by four daughters, Jo Burton of Collierville, Tenn., Betty Brown of Center Ridge, Ark., Lois Smith of Tyronza, and Geneva McClelland of Gilmore; three sons, Willie Gill Jr. of Bartlett, Tenn., Billy Gene Gill of Tyronza, and Danny Gill of Turrell; 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 18 at 10 a.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home Chapel in Marked Tree.
Place of burial will be at the Tyronza Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be his grandsons.
Carease Henderson
Carease Henderson, 88, of Macon, Ga., formerly of Lepanto died Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at the Presbyterian Village in Macon, Ga.
Henderson, a Baptist, was a former resident of Lepanto who moved to Daytona Beach, Fla. where she lived for many years before moving to Presbyterian Village in Macon, Ga.
Her family, the Holimans were pioneer residents of Lepanto.
Her husband, J.W. Henderson and family operated the Henderson Department Store in Lepanto for many years.
Henderson is survived by two daughters, Joyce Strickland of Macon, Ga., Delores Molinary of Sonning on Thames, England; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Henderson was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Henderson.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.
Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto had charge of the funeral arrangements.
Anna Ruth Tambling
Anna Ruth Tambling, 71, of Lovington, NM, died Saturday, November 23, 2002 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Tex.
A Baptist and a Marked Tree native, Tambling is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Brenda Prysock of Lovington, NM; two brothers, Jack Bell of Southaven, Miss and Ray Bell of Southaven, Miss; and three sisters, Ludie Hatley of Marked Tree, Tiny Smith of Marked Tree and Louise Massey of San Antonio, Tex.
Tambling was also survived by three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Tambling in 1997, a son Jay Prysock and her parents, Virgil and Annie Bell.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel in Lovington, with Rev. K.M. McCarthick officiating.
Pallbearers for the service include Kenny Wallace, Dan Williamson, Jimmy Hayes, Will Hammond, John Parker and Newt Painter.

Eula Thelma Young
Eula Thelma Young, 97, of Bertram, Tex. died Tues., Sept. 24, 2002 in Bertram, Tex.
The widow of Clayton Young, Eula Thelma Young was preceded in death by a daughter, formerly of Lepanto.
Young is survived by two daughters, Mary Henley of Bertram, Tex, Patsy McBride of Friendship, Tex; and one brother, Locke Dean of California.
Young is also survived by eight grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., with Bob Glover officiating.
Burial followed in Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.
Pallbearers were Glen Tolliver, Bill Tolliver, Mitchell Tolliver, Lane Tolliver, Pete Cox and Ricky Cox.
Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto had charge of the arrangements.
Lillie Mae Crockett
Lillie Mae Crockett, 85, of Tyronza died June 4, 2002 at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis.
She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Barton Chapel Baptist Church.
The funeral will be June 7 at 1 p.m. at Barton Chapel Baptist Church in Heafer.
Place of interment will be at the Tyronza Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo Crockett.
She is survived by two daughters, Callie Wilson of Marion and Shirley Gill of Tyronza; one son, Ronnie Crockett of Tyronza; one sister, Willie Healey of Dekals, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Lebonheur Children's Hospital.
Clarence Junior Durfee
Clarence Junior Durfee, 47, of Marion died Monday, February 11, 2002, at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis.
He was a member of the Church of Christ in Tyronza.
Durfee is survived by mother Pauline Shepherd of Trumann; two sisters, Louise McCorkle of Tyronza and Brenda Ward of Jonesboro; three brothers, Jim Harris of Gravite, Cleveland Blanchard of Marion, and Winston Blanchard of Tyronza; one daughter, Nikki Schwartz of Marion; and two grandchildren.
Visitation was Feb. 13 at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Feb. 14, at 2:00 p.m. at the Tyronza Church of Christ, Brother Homer Lloyd officiating, and burial will follow at the Tyronza Cemetery under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
