Billy Wayne "Bubba" Coleman, Jr.
Billy Wayne "Bubba" Coleman, Jr., 18, of Heth, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 1999, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mr. Coleman was a track hoe operator and a member of Shell Lake Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Bobbie Coleman of Heth; his father, Billy Wayne Coleman Sr. of Tyler, Texas; two sisters, Sudonna Dye of Heth and Stacy Hagood of Memphis and his grandmother, Sally Coleman of Annona, Texas.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 1, at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. Services will be Thursday, Dec. 2, at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion under the direction of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Memorials can be made to Shell Lake Baptist Church in Heth.
Paula Gail Edwards Beck
Paula Gail Edwards Beck, 60, of Bella Vista, died Monday, Nov. 29, 1999, at her home.
Mrs. Beck was born Jan. 26, 1939. She graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1959 and taught school in Texas, Arkansas and Tennessee. She worked as an office manager for the family business while living in Forrest City for 25 years. She moved to Bella Vista in April of 1997.
She is survived by her husband William "Bill" Beck of Bella Vista; a daughter, Leigh Anne Branch of Fayetteville and two grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday, Dec. 3, at 1 p.m. at the Bella Vista Community Church with Rev. David McKay officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Bella Vista Community Church.
Vizian Juanita White
Ms. Vizian Juanita White, 62, of Forrest City, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 1999, at her home.
She was born June 28, 1937, in Colt, the daughter of Clark Jones and Ruby Paige Jones. She is retired from the Forrest City Police Department after 20 years as a crossing guard.
She is survived by two daughters, Renita Cole of Forrest City and Reginia Howard of Memphis; three sons, Theartic Green of Jonesboro, John White Jr., of Forrest City and Danny White of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Bernice Davis of Detroit, Mich. and Claudia Brinker of Calumet, Ill.; four brothers, Clarke Jones of Detroit, Harold Jones of Gary, Ind., Benjamin Jones of Michigan City, Ind., and Elmon Chism of Washington; several grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Dec. 12, at Woodhouse Mortuary from 12 noon until 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 13, at 12 noon at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Cato Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in Clark Cemetery under the direction of Woodhouse Mortuary.
Vivian Juanita White
Vivian Juanita White, 62, of Forrest City, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 1999, at her home.
She was born June 28, 1937, in Colt to Clark Jones Sr. and Ruby Paige Jones. She retired from the Forrest City Police Department after twenty years of service as a crossing guard.

Funeral services were held today at 12 noon at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Cato Brooks officiating. Burial followed at Clark Cemetery under the direction of Woodhouse Mortuary.
Victor P. Orrell
Victor P. Orrell, 75, of Casey, Ill., died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1999, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Ind.
Mr. Orrell was born Sept. 30, 1924, in Greenup, Ill., to Harley Samuel Orrell and Nora Gross Orrell. He was a retired boiler operator from Arkansas Power and Light, a member of Casey White Oak Church of God, served in the Navy during World War II and a member of Casey VFW Post #5762.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and one grandson.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Orrell of Casey, Ill.; two sons, Bill Orrell of Casey, Ill., and Andy Orrell of El Campo, Texas; two daughters, Pat Hudgens of Enville, Tenn., and Jean Graves of Forrest City; two sisters, Vera Pogue of Casey, Ill., Betty Hutchings of Neenah, Wis.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held Friday, Dec. 10, at Markwell and Son Funeral Home in Casey, Ill. Burial followed at Casey Cumberland Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to the Casey White Oak Church of God building fund in Casey, Ill.
Reece L. "R.L." Parrish
Reece L. "R.L." Parrish, 74, of Haynes, died Friday, Dec. 10, 1999, at the VA Hospital in Memphis.
Mr. Parrish was born Aug. 9, 1925, to Herbert Parrish and Ophie Phillips Parrish. He was a retired carpenter and a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his wife Blanch Irene Parrish in 1993.
He is survived by three sons, James Reece Parrish of Texas, Glen Dale Parrish of Florida and Troy Parrish of Marianna; two daughters, Ophie Brady of Texas and Joy Fay Nix of Haynes; three brothers, Herbert Parrish of South Carolina, Joe Parrish of Marianna and Billy Parrish of Oklahoma; three sisters, Janice Bryant of Wynne, Shirley Conner of Oklahoma and Inez Presley of Haynes; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were today at 1 p.m. at Morgan Chapel with Bro. Bud Davis officiating. Burial followed at Hughes Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.
David Rucker
David Rucker Sr., 52, of Forrest City, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 1999, at St. Benard Hospital in Jonesboro.
Mr. Rucker was a sanitation worker for the city of Forrest City.
He is survived by his mother, Luiza Rucker of Forrest City; a daughter, Denise Rucker of Jonesboro; two sons, David Rucker Jr. and Michael Rucker both of Jonesboro; four sisters, Bertha Rucker, Carrie Gadison and Earstine Jackson all of Rochester, N.Y., and Hattie Wright of Forrest City; four brothers, Joseph Rucker of Forrest City, LeRoy Rucker of Rochester, N.Y., Argee Rucker of Chicago, Ill., Ruhen Rucker of Jonesboro and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 17 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Kennedy Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 18 at 1 p.m. at United Christian M.B. Church with Rev. J.W. Lockhart officiating. Burial will follow at Forrest City Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Kennedy Funeral Home.
