Eddie Lee Robinson
Mr. Eddie Lee Robinson, age 51, of Wynne, died Saturday, Aug. 3, 202, in Hazen.
Mr. Robinson was a landscaper and a member of the Masons. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Robinson of Wynne; three daughters, Tammy Robinson of Jonesboro and Erica Robinson Spiller and Lashunda Gore, both of Little Rock; six sons, Eddie Robinson Jr., of Jonesboro, Dedrick Robinson, Corey Robinson and Bernard Burton, all of Little Rock, Jermaine Robinson of Oak Grove, Ken., and Keith Robinson of Albany, Ga.; four sisters, Lou Bertha Sykes of Wynne, Inez Robinson of Milwaukee, Wis., Queen Robinson of Memphis and Lucy Robinson of Detroit, Mich.; four brothers, Almus Robinson Jr. and Jimmy Robinson, both of Detroit, Mich., Ronnie Robinson of Milwaukee, Wis., and Sylvester Robinson of Chicago, Ill. and 16 grandchildren.
Visitation services for Mr. Robinson will be held Friday, Aug. 9, 2002 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Salem M.B. Church in Forrest City. Funeral services for Mr. Robinson will be held Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002, at noon at Salem M.B. Church with burial following in Paradise Gardens Cemetery. Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Alvin Richard "Rick" Hall
Mr. Alvin Richard "Rick" Hall, age 52, of Forrest City, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2002, at his home.
Mr. Hall was born Aug. 13, 1950, in Forrest City, the son of Alvin Wayne Hall and Jonnie Bell Spence Hall. He lived in Marianna for most of his life, before moving to Forrest City. He was an X-ray technician and was a member of the First Christian Church of Marianna.
Mr. Hall married Linda Turney in 1972 and she survives him along with two daughters, Abbye Lynne Hall of Fayetteville and Jamie Suzanne Foust of Forrest City; his parents of Marianna; a brother, David Hall of Harrison; a sister, Nancy Adams of Sherwood and a granddaughter.
Visitation services for Mr. Hall will be held Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Chapel Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the First Christian Church of Marianna on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002, at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery.
The family requests memorials be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
Venus Lee Hooker
Mrs. Venus Lee Hooker, age 84, of Palestine, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mrs. Hooker was born Aug. 15, 1918, in St. Francis County, the daughter of Jim Lee and Ida Belle Kingery Lee. She lived in St. Francis County all of her life, and was retired from Reltoc Manufacturing. She was a member of the Palestine Church of Christ.
Mrs. Hooker married James H. "Short" Hooker in 1936, and he preceded her in death in 1989. She is survived by four sons; Bill Hooker of Pearl, Miss., Dale Hooker of Meeker, Okla., Stanley Hooker of North Little Rock, and Jay Hooker of Memphis; four daughters, Joy Howton and Betty Shafer both of Palestine, Wanda Crews of Niangua, Mo., and Rosie Howton of Stamps, 27 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
Visitation services for Mrs. Hooker will be held on Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at the Palestine Church of Christ, at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Bell Cemetery in Palestine.

Junior Richardson
Mr. Junior Richardson, age 84, of Little Rock and formerly of Palestine, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, at Baptist Medical Center.
Mr. Richardson was born March 15, 1918, in Palestine and was a retired farmer. He is survived by a daughter, Ola Mae Barton of Palestine; four brothers Murry Richardson, Melton Richardson and Clyde Richardson all of Minneapolis, Minn., and Sam Richardson of Battle Creek, Mich.; six sisters, Marie Smith of Forrest City, Vannise Bogard of Palestine, Lorraine Ward of Detroit, Mich., Odessia Taylor and Loistine Colem both of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mattie Fortes, of Ashland, Mass.; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation services for Mr. Richardson will be held on Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, from 10:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Clay Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Derron Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery in Palestine.
John William Sharp
Mr. John William Sharp, age 67, of Forrest City, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002, in Memphis.
Mr. Sharp was born Feb. 20, 1935, in Savannah, Tenn., the son of Clarence Sharp and Hattie Smith. He was a security guard at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Forrest City and a veteran.
Mr. Sharp is survived by his wife, Vera Marie Sharp of Forrest City; two daughters, Claudia Marie Cazanes of Cleanlake, Texas, and Shelia Meyers of Forrest City; a son, Larry Billingsley of Marianna; three sisters, Betty Hindman of Savannah, Tenn., Helen Robinson of Toledo, Ohio, and Pauline Dinsmore of Michigan City, Ind.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Clarence Vestal Sharp.
Funeral services for Mr. Sharp will be held on Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, at 2 p.m., at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel in Marianna with Rev. David Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in Bell Cemetery in Palestine.
Emma Reed Nabor
Mrs. Emma Reed Nabor, age 90, of Marianna, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City. She was a retired teacher and is survived by a sister, Lillian Hodge of Los Angeles, Calif.; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Nabor was held from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, at the J.E. Kennedy Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at 12 p.m. at the Paradise #1 M. B. Church with Rev. E.H. Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in Reed Cemetery.
Junior Richardson

Violet L. Adams
Mrs. Violet L. Adams, age 89, of Colt, died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2002, at Wynwood Nursing Center in Wynne.
Mrs. Adams, born Oct. 7, 1913, in Colt, daughter of Joesph Neill and Mamie Blanche Jackson Neill, was a homemaker. She lived in St. Francis County for most of her life and was inspector of the housekeeping department of St. Luke's Hospital in St. Louis for 17 years. She was a member of the Pine Tree Extension Club and the Ellis Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Adams is survived by a son, Gaylon Adams of St. Ann, Mo.; a brother, Justin Neill of Pine Tree; a sister, Alice Haynes of Pine Tree; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Adams; a son, Coy N. Adams and two brothers, Harold Neill and Bob Neill.
Visitation services for Mrs. Adams will be held on Monday, Dec. 16, 2002, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Kernodle Funeral Home in Wynne. Funeral services for Mrs. Adams will be held Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Kernodle Funeral Home with burial following in Barnishaw Cemetery in Pine Tree. Ed E. O'Fallin
Mr. Ed E. O'Fallin, age 78, of Memphis, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2002, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.
Mr. O'Fallin was a retiree from Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division and Schering Plough. He was the husband of Tommie Lou O'Fallin.
Mary B. Casey
Mrs. Mary B. Casey, age 76, of Heth, died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2002, in Earle.
Mrs. Casey, a homemaker, was a member of Hughes Church of Christ. She is survived by four daughters, Sherry Grieco and Karen Taylor, both of Harrisonburg, Va., Sheilla Hume of Eads, Tenn., and Nina Pace of Mission Viejo, Calif.; three sons, Jerry Casey of Memphis, Warren Casey of Heth and Brian Casey of Fisher; a sister, Pearl Thomas of Indiana; a brother, Paul Brand of Mississippi; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Casey was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. Casey.
Visitation services for Mrs. Casey will be held Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2002, in the Chapel of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 19, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion.

Thomas V. Trice Sr.
Mr. Thomas V. Trice, age 72, of Forrest City, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mr. Trice was born March 19, 1930, in Cottonplant, the son of Thurmond Trice and Rosie Madden Trice. Mr. Trice is survived by his wife Julia Smith Trice of Little Rock; 10 daughters, Rose Ann Trice, Evone Trice, Barbara Trice, Emma Trice, Patricia Pickett and Brenda Kay Trice all of Little Rock, Shelia Lacy of Jonesboro, Carolyn Trice and Gloria Trice both of Chicago, Ill., and Tonietta Trice of Jacksonville, Fla.; five sons, Thomas Trice Jr., Bruce Trice, Kenny Trice and Allen Lee all of Little Rock, and Theo Trice of Chicago, Ill.; two sisters, Priscilla Green of Forrest City, and Myrte Barton of Michigan; one brother, Joe L. Trice of Chicago, Ill., and 23 grandchildren.

Virgie Johnson
Mrs. Virgie Johnson, age 76, of Horseshoe Lake, died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002, at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis.
Mrs. Johnson, a homemaker, was the wife of the late Quitman Johnson. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Johnsey of Corinth, Miss., and Linda Thaxton of Widener; two brothers, Tom Cooley of Batesville and Joe Cooley of Joiner; five grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
