Delma D. Dillahunty
Mrs. Delma D. Dillahunty, age 89, of Hughes died Sunday, June 9, 2002, at her home in Hughes.
Mrs. Dillahunty was a homemaker and a charter member of Town and Country in Hughes. She was also a member of the First Methodist Womens Guild of Hughes and a life long member of the First United Methodist Church of Hughes.
Mrs. Dillahunty was preceded in death by her husband Hughe T. Dillahunty and survived by three sons, Hughe M. Dillahunty, Kuhron Meurrier and Sam T. Dillahunty, all of Hughes; three daughters, Eva Pouncey and Fairy Ann Owens, both of Hughes, and Delma Murray, of Hughes and Forrest City; a sister, Allie Vee Dunavant of Hot Springs; 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Dillahunty will be held Monday, June 10, 2002, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2002, at 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Hughes with burial to follow in Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion. Roller-Citizens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family requests any memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church in Hughes.

Kenney Long
Mr. Kenney Long, age 17, of Palestine, died Saturday, June 8, 2002.
Mr. Long was born Nov. 24, 1984, in Fort Smith and was the son of Sammy Long and Kelly Hill Long. He lived in Palestine most of his life and was a student at Palstine-Wheatley High School.
Mr. Long is survived by his parents; a sister Katie Long of Palestine; his grandparents Kenneth and Sadie Kate Hill of Fort Smith, and a great-grandmother Corrine Hill of Pineville, La.
Visitation services for Mr. Long will be Monday, June 10, 2002, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services for Mr. Long will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2002, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. with burial to follow in Bell Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

Pauline Isringhouse Ward
Mrs. Pauline Isringhouse Ward, age 62, of Forrest City, died Saturday, June 8, 2002, in Forrest City.
Mrs. Ward was born March 11, 1940, in Postelle, the daughter of Theedee Alonzo Anderson and Vivian Sullivan Sorrells, and her stepfather Jack Sorrells. She was retired from nursing and Calvary Christian School. She was also a member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and president of the Keenager Club.
Mrs. Ward was married to Leroy Ward in 1985, and he survives her along with two daughters Rebecca Houston of Forrest City and Amber Medina of Dallas, Texas; two sons, Otto "Billy" Isringhouse of McKinney, Texas and Joel Isringhouse of Forrest City; two sisters Winsel Harper of Lexa and Peggy Casteel of Marianna; one brother Jackie Sorrells of Marianna; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four half brothers and three half sisters.
Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Ward; one brother Lonnie Anderson and two sisters, Agnes McNair and Juanita Martin.
Visitation for Mrs. Ward will be held Monday, June 10, 2002, at Stevens Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services for Mrs. Ward will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Malone officiating. Burial will follow at Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

Ruby May Davis
Mrs. Ruby May Davis, age 95, of Hayti, Mo., died Friday, June 7, 2002, in Hayti.
Mrs. Davis, born Aug. 15, 1906, in Dunklin County, Mo., was the daughter of Cobey and Clara Lance Gabriel. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Hayti.
In 1928, Mrs. Davis married Johnny Earl Davis and he preceded her in death, along with a son, J.D. Davis and a daughter, Evelyn Witham. Mrs. Davis is survived by two daughters, Juanita Capps and Glenda Atkins, both of Hayti; a brother, Wheeler Clark, of Washington, Ill.; a sister, Lucille Jenkins of Washington, Ill.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
Funeral services for Mrs. Davis were held Sunday, June 9, 2002, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Hayti, Mo., with Dr. Mike Melton officiating. Burial followed in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett, Mo. under the direction of John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti, Mo.

Delma Denton Dillahunty
Mrs. Delma Denton Dillahunty, age 89, of Hughes died Sunday, June 9, 2002, at her home in Hughes.

Wanda Mikell Like
Wanda Mikell Like, age 5 months, died Sunday, June 9, 2002.
Wanda Like, born Jan. 8, 2002, in Forrest City, was the daughter of Norman Like Jr. and Terri Jo Cummings Rice. She is survived by her parents; a brother, James Avery Rice, of the home; her paternal grandparents, Bro. Norman and Wanda Like Sr., of Colt; her maternal grandparents, Arlis and Jolene Cummings of Colt; her maternal step-grandfather, John Henry Sain of Forrest City; her maternal great-grandparents, Louis and Clemie Phillips of Forrest City and her maternal great-grandmother, Joy Marie Cummings of Colt.
Visitation services will be Wednesday, June 12, 2002, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services for Wanda Like will be held Thursday, June 13, 2002, at 10 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Forrest Park Cemetery. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mary Allie Hodges
Mrs. Mary Allie Hodges, age 90, of Southaven, Miss., died Wednesday, June 12, 2002, at Baptist Progressive Care in Southaven.
Mrs. Hodges, a native of Forrest City, was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Southaven. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence H. Hodges, and is survived by two sons, Larry Hodges of Plano, Texas and Ronald W. Hodges of Olive Branch, Miss., and three grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Hodges will be held Saturday, June 15, 2002, at 2 p.m., at Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Forrest Hill Funeral Home South.
The family requests memorials be sent to the Trinity Baptist Church Building Fund in Southaven, Miss.

Lena L. Hicks
Mrs. Lena L. Hicks, age 94, of Forrest City, died Tuesday, June 11, 2002, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Forrest City. Mrs. Hicks was a homemaker and she is survived by a son, Alvin Smith.
Visitation services for Mrs. Hicks were held, Monday, June 17, 2002, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Days Temple Church of God in Christ. Funeral services for Mrs. Hicks will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2002, at 11 a.m. at Days Temple Church of God in Christ. Burial will follow in Paradise Garden Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Kennedy Funeral Home.

Lou Era Puckett Johnson
Mrs. Lou Era Puckett Johnson, age 93, of Forrest City died Saturday, June 15, 2002 at Crestpark Retirement Inn in Forrest City.
Mrs. Johnson was born June 8, 1909, in Paris, Tenn. and was the daughter of Andrew Lafayette Puckett and Minnie Frances Lindsey Puckett. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and had a home daycare. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Fellowship Bible Church.
Mrs. Johnson married Edward M. Johnson in 1924 and preceded her in death in 1963. Mrs. Johnson is survived by one daughter Frances Clarkson of Waterford Miss.; two sisters Lela Mae Christian of Forrest City and Betty Joe Weeks of Lilbourn, Mo.; one grand-daughter and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Johnson were held Monday, June 17, 2002 at 10 a.m. at Hughes Cemetery in Forrest City. Stevens Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Julia Marie Weddington
Mrs. Julia Marie Weddington, age 89, of Colt died Saturday, June 15, 2002 at Wynnewood Nursing Home.
Mrs. Weddington was born July 30, 1912, to Arch L. and Julia Wall Kelso. She was a housewife and a member of the Colt Methodist Church.
Mrs. Weddington was preceded in death by her husband Willie Lee Weddington in 1997 and her son John in 1988. She is survived by three daughters Jane Luker of Forrest City, Willene Partain of Cherry Valley and Mary Ruth Scheibe of Cummings, Ga.; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Weddington were held Monday, June 17, 2002, at 2 p.m. at the Morgan Chapel with Bro. James Allen Cowan and Bro. Berlon Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Loughridge Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.

Forrest "Junior" Baskins
Mr. Forrest "Junior" Baskins, age 51, of Colt, died Monday, June 17, 2002, at his home in Colt.
Mr. Baskins was born Nov. 14, 1950, in Cherry Valley and was the son of Forrest and Pauline Huey Baskins. He was the owner of Baskins and Sons Construction Company and a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.
Mr. Baskins married Jayne McGuire in 1971 and she survives him along with his parents; three sons, Kevin Todd Baskins, Corey Stephen Baskins, and Brandon Jay Baskins, all of Colt; a daughter, Heather Nicole Walls of Heber Springs; two brothers, Robert Earl Baskins of Caldwell and Ralph Williams Baskins of Colt; two sisters, Betty King of Newark and Patricia Ann Lawson of Colt and six grandchildren.
Visitation for Mr. Baskins will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2002, at Morgan Chapel from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2002 at 2 p.m. at the Morgan Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Cariker of First Nazarene Church of Branson, Mo. officiating. Burial will follow at Loughridge Cemetery in Colt under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.
