Eula Childress Damon
Mrs. Eula Childress Damon, 88, of Blytheville, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2000, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Mrs. Damon was born in Arp, Tenn., and was a homemaker and member of North 10th Street Baptist Church in Blytheville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil M. Damon in 1989, and one grandchild. Mrs. Damon had lived in Blytheville most of her life.
Mrs. Damon is survived by three daughters, Joyce Townsend, of Blytheville, Nancy Litten of Shalimar, Fla., and Emily Davis of Memphis; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation services for Mrs. Damon will be Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, from 12: 30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the North 10th Street Baptist Church in Blytheville. A graveside service will be held Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, at 2 p.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery in Blytheville with Rev. Max Briley and Rev. Henry Applegate officiating, under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Memorial may be sent to North 10th Street Baptist Church at 531 North 10th Street in Blytheville.

Esther D. Hudson
Mrs. Esther D. Hudson, 87, of Cordova, Tenn., died Sunday, July 30, 2000, at the Cordova Rehabilitation and Nursing Home, in Cordova.
Mrs. Hudson was a retired domestic worker.
She is survived by a son, Steve Hudson, of Stone Mountain, Ga., four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hudson will be Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, at 2 p.m. at Macedonia M.B. Church in Madison. Burial will follow in Casteel Cemetery under the direction of Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home.

Daisy W. Futrell
Mrs. Daisy W. Futrell, 94, of Forrest City, died Monday, July 31, 2000, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mrs. Futrell, born Aug. 12, 1905, in Vanndale, and was a retired housekeeper.
She is survived by a son, Ell Futrell, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Clay Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, at 11 a.m., at Beth Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Vernon Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow at Warren Cemetery in Vanndale under the direction of Clay Funeral Home.

George W. Moore
George W. Moore, age 57, of Forrest City, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2000, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mr. Moore was born July 8, 1943, in Forrest City to Jessie Moore and Beatrice Carruth Moore.
He is survived by a brother, Charles Moore, of Forrest City; and a sister, LueVingue Moore of Stockton, Calif.
Visitation for Mr. Moore will be Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Woodhouse Mortuary. Funeral Services will be Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Woodhouse Mortuary with Rev. Frederick Clay officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest City Cemetery under the direction of Woodhouse Mortuary.

Mary Paulman
Mary Paulman, age 73, of Wynne and Forrest City, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2000, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Ms. Paulman was born Sept. 28, 1926, in Marianna to Dewitt Graham and Velma Dover. She was retired from Sanyo Manufacturing Corporation.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Sheila Paulman and Linda Sue Cruce.
She is survived by four sons, Jerry Bartleson, of Milwaukee, Wisc., Danny Bartleson and Billy Bartleson, both of Forrest City, Paul Paulman, of Ward; a daughter, Martha Laverne Davis, of Wynne; a brother, James Kinney, of Forrest City; two sisters, Marie Andrews and Shirley Deere, both of Forrest City; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, at 2 p.m. at Morgan Chapel. Burial will be in Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.

Anna Belle Roberts
Anna Belle Roberts, age 69, of Hughes, died Saturday, July 29, 2000, at Baptist Health Care system in Memphis.
She is survived by a sister, Lebora Mabry, of Memphis.
Visitation will be Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Rising Sun M. B. Church in Hughes. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Paradise Garden under the direction of Anthony Funeral Home in Anthonyville.

Verna Mae Bobo Robinson
Verna Mae Bobo Robinson, age 42, of Forrest City, formerly of Heth, died Monday, July 31, 2000, at her home.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by her husband, Horace Robinson Jr., of Widener; her parents, Cardell and Dessie Bobo, both of Heth; three daughters, Yolanda Curne, Hughes, Quenisha Robinson and Andrea Robinson, both of Forrest City; a son, Michael Robinson, of Heth; two sisters, Evelyn Wilson, of Widener, Vanessa Alexander, of Forrest City; two brothers, Vincent Bobo and Gregoy Bobo, both of Forrest City; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Anthony Funeral Home Chapel in Anthonyville. Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, at 1 p.m. at New Bethel Church in Hughes. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery in Widener under the direction of Anthony Funeral Home.

Rickey Franklin Miller
Mr. Rickey Franklin Miller, age 41, of Forrest City, died Monday, Aug. 28, 2000, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mr. Miller, born March 1, 1959, in Elgin, Ill., was the son of Billy Miller and Jeannie Wallace. He was formerly of Mississippi before moving to Forrest City. He worked for the Pepsi Company and was a member of the Oak Hill Church of God. He was also very active in the prison ministries.
On July 14, 2000, Mr. Miller married Marjorie May. She survives him along with two stepsons, Cameron Hoselton, of Forrest City, David Jasper, of Hattiesburg, Miss.; a stepdaughter, Shelley Daurpare, of Marreo, La.; his mother, Jeannie Wallace Moore, of Lake Cormorant, Miss.; his father, Billy Miller, of Bruce Miss.; his stepfather, Joe Don Moore, of Lake Cormorant, Miss.; his stepmother, Annette Miller, of Bruce, Miss.; two sisters, Kathy Stachowski, of Covington, Tenn., Linda Morgan, of Walls, Miss.; four stepbrothers, Danny Moore, of Lake Cormorant, John Moore, of Memphis, James Moore, of Hernando, Miss., Joe Moore, of Southaven, Miss.; and his paternal step-grandmother, Margaret Miller, of Coldwater, Miss.
Funeral services for Mr. Miller will be Thursday, Aug. 31, 2000,at 2 p.m. at the Oak Hill Church of God, with Rev. William Witcher officiating and Rev. Greg Hoskins assisting. Burial will follow at Loughridge Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2000, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home.

Joseph Patton Sharp
Mr. Joseph Patton Sharp, age 71, of Marianna, died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2000, at the Helena Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Sharp, born Aug. 26, 1929, to OscarSharp and Roxie Mae Shore in Marion, Texas, was a retired mechanic and shop foreman. He was a veteran and was retired from the National Guard. He was also a member of First United Methodist Church in Marianna.
Mr. Sharp is survived by his wife, Bernice Sharp, of Marianna; two daughters, Donna Wooten, of Marianna, Joye Hughes, of Forrest City; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Sharp will be held Thursday, Aug. 31, 2000, at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Marianna with Rev. Bennie Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in Marianna Memorial Park under the direction of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of Marianna.
The family requests that all memorials go to First United Methodist Church of Marianna, or the charity of the donor's choice.

Esther M. Butler Davis
Mrs. Esther M. Butler Davis, age 81, of Wynne, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2000, at Baptist Central in Memphis.
Mrs. Davis was the former owner of the Yellow Jacket Cafe in Wynne from 1949 to 1960. She was also employed by Reltoc for 20 years, a 53 year member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and a charter member of East Baptist Church.
Mrs. Davis is preceded by her husband, Henry Frank Davis and she is survived by a son, Jimmy Davis, of Forrest City; a daughter, Louise Davis, of Wynne; a sister, Louvern Jackson of Earle; a brother, Robert Butler of Wynne; a granddaughter; one great-grandchild.
Funeral services for Mrs. Davis will be Friday, Sept. 1, 2000, at East Baptist Church in Wynne at 10 a.m., followed by burial at Cogbill Cemetery. Roller Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis is in charge of arrangements.
