Menuon Yolanda Couch, age 20, of Forrest City, died Saturday, July 8, 2000, at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 14, 1979, in Forrest City, to Levern Couch Sr. and Essie Brown Couch.
She is survived by her parents; a son, Jaquez Couch, of Forrest City; three sisters, Veronica Sampson and Miecia Couch, both of Memphis, Nicole Couch, of Forrest City; three brothers, Levern Couch Jr. and Christopher Couch, both of Forrest City, and Leonard Brown, of Memphis.
Visitation will be Friday, July 14, 2000, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Woodhouse Mortuary. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 15, 2000, at 4 p.m. at Williams Temple Church of God In Christ with Elder Ransom Smith officiating. Burial will be in Casteel Cemetery under the direction of Woodhouse Mortuary.
Willie Bell Sykes
Willie Bell Sykes, age 93, of Forrest City, died Saturday, July 8, 2000, in Chicago, Ill.
Mrs. Sykes was born Aug. 8, 1906, in Clarksdale, Miss.
She was peceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel Sykes and a son, Lewis Sykes.
She is survived by four daughters, Helen Latham, of Forrest City, Carrie Moore, of Broadview, Ill., Catherine Rodgers, of South Hollow, Ill., Bulah Davis, of Columbus, Ga.; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, July 14, 2000, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Woodhouse Mortuary and Saturday, July 15, 2000, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at United Christian Church. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 15, 2000, at noon at United Christian Church with Rev. Sampson Young officiating. Burial will follow in Casteel Cemetery under the direction of Woodhouse Mortuary.
Nora Ann Bledsoe
Nora Ann Bledsoe, age 83, of Augusta, died Tuesday, July 11, 2000, in Augusta.
She was born March 23, 1917, in Heber Springs, to Henry and Vonny Brewer Flowers. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club, Senior Citizens Club, and a was active in Golden Circle Sunday School Class. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons and a daughter.
She is survived by two sons, Curtis Bledsoe, of Forrest City, Danny Bledsoe, of Lynchburg, Va.; three daughters, Martha Sams, of Elizabethton, Tenn., Glenda Smith, of Augusta, Carey Bledsoe Goacher, of Hughes; four sisters, Vanessie Anderson, of Mountain Home, Vesta McHann, of Fiddletown, Calif., Pearl Erving, of Mississippi, Faye Stockdale, of Missouri, a brother, Raymond Flowers, of Pine Bluff; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, July 14, 2000, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church in Augusta. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 15, at 1 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church in Augusta. Burial will be in Barnishaw Cemetery in Pine Tree under the direction of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.

Ashley Nicole Hammer
Ms. Ashley Nicole Hammer, 17, of Forrest City, died Sunday, July 16, 2000, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City. She was 17.
She was born, Feb. 23, 1983, in Forrest City. She was the daughter of Stephen Tyler Hammer and Carolyn Quinn Hammer. She made her home in Forrest City all of her life, was a student in the Forrest City Public Schools, was a member of Delta Beta Sigma sorority and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Ms. Hammer is survived by her parents; one sister, Heather "Chris" Moore, Little Rock; her grandmother, Oneta Quinn of Forrest City; her great-grandmother, Georgia Queen, of Tulsa, Okla.; her paternal grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Hammer of Forrest City. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jennifer Leigh Lewis; and her grandfather, Tom Quinn.
Visitation for Ms. Hammer will be Tuesday, July 18, 2000, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home. Services for Ms. Hammer will be Wednesday, July 19, 2000, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Thomason and Rev. Greg Hoskins officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
Patsy Jean "Pat" Mathews
Patsy Jean "Pat" Mathews, age 56, of Gill, died Sunday, July 16, 2000, at Baptist Hospital East in Memphis.
Mrs. Mathews was born Oct. 8, 1943, in Madison, to Casey Blair Horton and Thelma Jarman Horton. She was a former motel manager and a Baptist.
She is survived by her husband, Orville Mathews, of the home; a daughter, Shelly Gibson, of Harrisburg, Ill.; two step-daughters, Kim Smith, of Memphis, Cheryl Malik, of Madison, Ala.; a stepson, Pete Mathews, of Marion, Ill.; a brother, Ronald Horton, of Cleveland, Texas; a sister, Barbara Lamb, of Palestine; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Monday, July 17, 2000, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Morgan Chapel. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 18, 2000, at 10 a.m. at Morgan chapel with Bro. Gary Malone officiating. Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.
Patrick Allen McCollum
Patrick Allen McCollum, age 43, of Heth, died Tuesday, July 12, 2000.
Mr. McCollum was a farmer.
He is survived by a step-daughter, Pamela Harris, of Heth; two sisters, Ginger Elder and Linda Minton, both of Jonesboro; two brothers, Billy McCollum, of Memphis, and Michael McCollum, of Jonesboro.
Funeral services were held graveside today, Monday, July 17, 2000, at Crittenden Memorial Park at 11 a.m.
Dell Hall Null
Dell Hall Null, age 97, of Calico Rock, died Friday, July 14, 2000, in Calico Rock.
Mrs. Null was born Nov. 18, 1902, in Tupelo, Miss., to Nate and Mullie Hall. She was a homemaker and a member of Colt Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Albert Null; a son, James Vernon Null; three brothers, Cleburn Hall, Cliff Hall and James Hall; three sisters, Effie Grant, Clytee Baucum and Jesker Munn.
She is survived by a sister, Lena Neisler, of Batesville; a brother, Elmer Hall, of Searcy; a granddaughter, five great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held graveside, Tuesday, July 18, 2000, at 10 a.m. aytHughes Cemetery.
Dorothy Jean "Dot" Perkins
Dorothy Jean "Dot" Perkins, age 46, of Clarksdale, Miss., died Sunday, July 16, 2000, at her home.
Mrs. Perkins was born June 25, 1954, in Marianna, to Walter Brewer Mooneyham and Maggie Lorene Dye Mooneyham. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucy Mooneyham and Betty Taylor; a brother, Walter Brewer Mooneyham Jr.; and her father.
She is survived by her husband, Max Perkins, Clarksdale, Miss.; two sons, Kevin Sullivan, of Forrest City, Clayton Sullivan, of Clarksdale, Miss.; six brothers, John Mooneyham of Shelbyville, Tenn., Gene Mooneyham of Marianna, James Mooneyham of Waterloo, Ala., Floyd Mooneyham of Coahoma, Miss., Grady Mooneyham and Darden Mooneyham, both of Mountain View; three sisters, Linda Rickles and Joyce Pass, both of Shelbyville, Tenn., Virginia Morrison of West Memphis; and her mother.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 18, 2000, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 19, 2000, at 10 a.m. at Roller-Citizens Chapel in West Helena. Burial will be in Birdie Cemetery in Birdie, Miss., under the direction of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home.
