Amber Hall
Amber Starr Hall, 26, of London died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center.
She was born March 23, 1976 in Novato, Calif., to David Jeffery Ring and Starla Jean Hickman. She was a member of Life Center Church in Russellville and graduated from Life Center Academy. She was a full-time math major at Arkansas Tech University with her academic goal being a math teacher. She was a member of the London PTA and Arkansas Tech Child Development. She was a volunteer at Life Center Church and Potters House Ministries of Russellville with her mother, Starla Hickman. She had a giving heart to all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmie Eugene Hall; four daughters, Qassye Marie, Reanne Victoria, Elizabeth Starr and Tabatha Dawn Hall; her father and stepmother, David Jeffery and Janice Marie Ring of Florida; her mother and stepfather, Starla Jean and Raymond John Hickman of Russellville; a sister, Qassye Dee Lunsford of Russellville; three stepsisters, Tina Laurine Fraser of Columbus, Ohio, Page Marie Garcia of Long Island, N.Y., and Corey Layne Triesler of Lake Wales, Fla.; maternal grandparents, Cecil O'dell and June Evelyn Bewley of Russellville; two uncles, Bill Bewley of London and Douglas Bruce Ring of Palm Desert, Calif.; and an aunt, Peggy Norris of Russellville.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Life Center Church by the Rev. Larry Pyle and the Rev. Steve Pyle. Burial will be in East Point Cemetery near London by Dardanelle Funeral Service.
Pallbearers include Randall Eubanks, Bill Bewley, Keith Lunsford, Raymond Beavers, Carl Hall and Eddie Shaffer.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Dardanelle Funeral Service.

Margaret Cline
DARDANELLE -- Margaret Cline, 57, of Dardanelle, wife of Bobby Cline, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at Baptist Medical Center at Little Rock.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Cornwell Funeral Service.

Dollie B. Freeman
Dollie Beatrice Freeman, 87, of Springfield, Mo., formerly of Russellville, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at her daughter's home.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pisgah Cemetery at Pottsville. Arrangements are by Greenlawn Funeral Service of Springfield.

Donald Fredrick
CLARKSVILLE -- Donald Wayne Fredrick, 60, of Clarksville died Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at his home.
He was a truck driver, son of the late Chester Fredrick and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by a sister, France Navine Fredrick.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Meyer Fredrick; three daughters, Sara Hinds, Marla Blivenn and Donitta Fredrick, all of Springdale; two stepsons, Brian Smith of Clarksville and Carl Dodd of Louisiana; three stepdaughters, Janet Miciotto of Louisiana, Vickie Kane of Springdale and Robin Oziah of Fayetteville; his parents, Ruby and Glen Head of Rudd; a brother, Greg Head of Rudd; a sister, Anna Loftin of Springdale; five grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Big Sandy Church at Marble by the Rev. Darrell Wilson and the Rev. Amos Pledger. Burial will be in Big Sandy Cemetery by Roller-Cox Funeral Service.
Pallbearers include Jarred Head, Carl Dodd, Chad Taylor, Brian Smith, Steven Taylor and Larry Yarbrough.

L.D. Ashmore
L.D. "Peanut" Ashmore, 78, of Covina, Calif., a native of London, died Friday, July 25, 2003.
He was born Aug. 13, 1924, and served in the Army in Okinawa and the Philippines. He moved to California in 1947 where he and his wife established Peanut's T.V. and Appliances in 1957.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Virginia Ashmore; a son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Jan Ashmore of Ontario, Calif.; a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Jim Stewart of Alta Loma, Calif.; his mother; five brothers; three sisters; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be Wednesday at Oakdale Memorial Park at Glendora, Calif.

Joyce R. Gardner
DARDANELLE -- Joyce R. Gardner, 81, of Dardanelle died Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at Dardanelle Hospital.
Born Feb. 16, 1922, in Minneapolis, Minn., she was the daughter of the late Rayfield and Christine Larson Shelden, and a member of Dardanelle Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Gardner; and a sister, Ruby Robinson.
Survivors include a son, Vernon R. Gardner of Sandy, Ore.; a daughter, Susan Faith of Dardanelle; her stepmother, Pauline Shelden of Salem, Ore.; a half-brother, Raymond Shelden of Salem, Ore.; a half-sister, Wilma Perce of Dayton, Ohio; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a nephew; and six nieces.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cornwell Chapel. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Service.
Pallbearers:
Active -- Jeffery Webb, Scott Jeans, Wayne Combs, Michael Scott, Patrick McCrary and Cecil D. Murphy.
Honorary -- Jason Jones and Danny Darter.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.

Joyce Kettner
SPRINGDALE - Joyce Marie Kettner, 52, of Springdale, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2003, at Fayetteville.
She was born Nov. 20, 1950, to Loyd William Henderson and Velma L. Erwin Henderson. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Free Will Baptist Church at Springdale.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie Kettner; a son, Aaron Kettner of Fayetteville; a daughter, Cindy Kettner of the home; her stepfather, Don Billings of Springdale; four brothers, Loyd David Henderson of Rogers, Dennis Ray Henderson of Dover, Larry Dean Henderson of Big Spring, Texas, and Charles Edward Henderson of Springdale; two sisters, Glenda Smiley of Springfield, Ohio, and Martha Stewart of Springdale; two stepbrothers, Virgil Billings of Castro Valley, Calif., and Timothy Billings of Pearl City, Hawaii; one stepsister, Sharon Link of Fort Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Calvary Free Will Baptist Church at Springdale. Burial was in Bluff Cemetery at Springdale. Arrangements were provided by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home at Springdale.

Danny Freeman
Danny Eutah Freeman, 27, of Russellville died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2003, at home.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Shinn Chapel.
Visitation will from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Shinn Funeral Home.

John Barnett
DARDANELLE - John Henry Barnett, 81, of Dardanelle died Friday, Oct. 3, 2003, at his home.
He was born Dec. 24, 1921, at the Kingston community in Yell County to the late John Robert and Lou George Barnett. He was a farmer and drove a truck for Tom Jones Lumber Company for many years and then went to work for Legacy Lodge Nursing Home at Russellville, where he was maintenance supervisor. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Girtha Bailey Barnett; three sons, James, Jimmy and Jackie Barnett; three brothers, Leroy, Robert S. and James Loyd Barnett; a sister, America Tedder; and a half-brother, James Floyd West.
Survivors include a son, John Phillip Barnett of Dardanelle; three daughters, Patsy Ann Deeds, Donna Jean Gaddis and Shelia Lynn Gilbert, all of Dardanelle; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Cornwell Chapel at Dardanelle officiated by the Rev. Joe Yates. Burial will be in Ringer Cemetery with military honors by Boyce-Woods VFW Post 4131 at Dardanelle.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include:
Active - Jiggs Adair, Doyle Claypool, Carl Minehart, Bobby Lyons, Kenneth Crow and Thelbert Hamilton.
Honorary - Henry Thompson.
