David Glen Woodward, 51, of Ola died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2003, at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
He was born on April 10, 1952, at Russellville to Othel Glen and Rose Bernice Jackson Woodward. He was attending Arkansas Tech University and was formerly employed as a security officer with Deltic Timber Corporation of Ola. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and was also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ola. He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Glenda Young of Russellville, and Judy and Dale French of Perryville; three nieces; and a great niece.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Ola officiated by the Rev. Donna Alberts and the Rev. John Zolk. Burial will be in Sandlin Cemetery at Ola by Humphrey Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Brenda Letbetter
Brenda Hovezak Letbetter, 58, of Houston, Texas, a native of Russellville, died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003, at Houston.
She was born Oct. 21, 1945, and was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Letbetter of Houston, Texas; a son, Johnny Blackwell Jr. of Houston; a stepson, Thomas Letbetter of Conroe, Texas; a stepdaughter, Sandy Wright of Katy, Texas; her parents, Louis and Florene Hovezak of Dardanelle; a brother, James Hovezak of Dardanelle; and a grandson, Michael Blackwell of Houston.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Humphrey Chapel by the Rev. Eddie Rogers. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park by Humphrey Funeral Service.

Stella May Ross, 92, of Russellville, widow of Frank Ross, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003, at Legacy Lodge Nursing Center.

DARDANELLE — Myrtle Lee Chambers, 91, of Dardanelle died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003, at Dardanelle Nursing Center.

Larry Billingsley
DARDANELLE — Larry Joe Billingsley, 43, of Russellville died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003, at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
He was born Dec. 11, 1959, at Waterloo, Iowa, son of the late Arvel Billingsley and operated a lawn care service.
Survivors include a daughter, Misty Marie Billingsley of Brownwood, Texas; his mother, Ozena Westbrook Billingsley of Russellville; a brother, Ricky Dean Billingsley of Murfreesboro; and three sisters, Linda Joyce Banwell of Humbolt, Iowa, Wanda Ellen Booth of Belen, N.M., and Margaret Ann Billingsley of Russellville.
A private burial was Monday at Brearley Cemetery. Arrangements were by Cornwell Funeral Service.
Lottie F. Grafton
Lottie Frances Vance Grafton, 78, of Alexandria, La., a native of Russellville, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2003, at The Versailles, La.
She was director of the Baptist Women and Baptist Young Women for the Louisiana Baptist Convention from 1977 to 1981 and was executive director of the Baptist Woman’s Missionary Union for the State of Oklahoma from 1981 to 1997. She was a member of Quail Springs Baptist Church at Oklahoma City, Okla. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Walter Weldon Grafton; her parents, John Walter and Jessie Mabel Howell Vance; and her brother, John Laborn Vance.
Survivors include a son, Jon Walter Grafton of Alexandria; a daughter, Susan Frances Grafton of Westminster, Colo., and three grandsons, James W. “Don” Grafton, Kenneth Vance Grafton and Paul Austin Grafton Cody.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hixon Brothers Funeral Home at Alexandria by the Rev. Charles Lowry and the Rev. Harry Thompson. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Providence Baptist Cemetery near Hattiesburg, Miss., by the Rev. Cliff Lazenby by Hulett-Winstedt at Hattiesburg.

Sarah Radcliffe
Sarah Lee Radcliffe, 70, of Barling, formerly of Russellville, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003, at Sparks Regional Medical Center at Fort Smith.
Born March 21, 1933, in Russellville, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Alta Blalack Lee, and worked with persons with developmental and mental disabilities in Kansas and Arkansas. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Lee Jr.
Survivors include a son, Michael Radcliffe of Neodesha, Kan.; a daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Carl Hudson of Russellville; three brothers, Stanford Lee and David Lee of Russellville, and J.W. Lee of Arkansas; two sisters, Rebecca Stacy of Fort Smith and Alta Ruth Lee of Russellville; four grandchildren, Lauren and Caleb Hudson of Russellville, and Victoria Radcliffe and Jamie Radcliffe of Neodesha, Kan.; and several nephews and nieces.
Memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Humphrey Chapel officiated by Pastor Cora Stokes. Cremation arrangements are by Humphrey Funeral Service.
Robert V. Smith Jr.
Robert V. Smith Jr., 55, formerly of Raleigh, N.C., and Memphis, Tenn., died Sept. 29, 2003, at Bensen, N.C.
He was born Sept. 18, 1948, at Raleigh, and was a Vietnam veteran. As a member of Company A, 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry, 1st Division, he received numerous awards including the Silver Star, two Bronze Stars with Valor, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Combat Medical Badge, Expert Badge in Rifle and Machine Gun and the Sharpshooter Badge in Automatic Rifle. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert V. Smith Sr.; his stepmother, Ann Mason Smith; and his mother, Margaret Willene Vannoy Smith Fox.
Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Lynn Smith, and her mother, Susan Clower-Smith of Russellville; a half-brother, Thomas Sherwood Smith and his wife, Laura, of Zebulon, N.C.; and three half-sisters, Iris Kay Motley of Fuqua Varina, N.C., Darlene Fox Seaford and her husband, Terry, and Lynn Fox, all of Kannapolis, N.C.
A memorial service, conducted by Jeff Hilles, will be held Saturday, Nov. 29, at Greens Pines Baptist Church at Knightdale, N.C., followed by burial with military honors at Oakwood Cemetery at Raleigh, N.C.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or a local Humane Society.
Eltree Smith
Eltree I. Smith, 71, of Dover died Monday, Nov. 17, 2003, at Greenbrier Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born Feb. 21, 1932, in the Hickeytown community in Johnson County, to Alfred and Grace Snow Owens, and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Lee Smith; a daughter, Hazel Smith; a brother; and two sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Tommy Smith of Dover and Billy Dale Smith of York, Neb.; a brother; six sisters; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bishop-Griffin Funeral Home at Greenbrier.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
