DARDANELLE - Bessie Jane Foster, 73, of Dardanelle died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004, at Dardanelle Hospital.
Funeral will be Friday at First Baptist Church at Delaware. Burial will be in Graves Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Service.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Lavinia Velasco
Lavinia L. Velasco, 80, of Lake Elsinore, Calif., died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004, at Hemet, Calif.
She was born Dec. 27, 1923, at Dover, daughter of the late Fred and Bertha Kroll Hogrefe, and a Lutheran. She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Velasco; and 14 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include three daughters, Darlene Rowe of Lake Elsinore, Calif., Carol Houghton of Ventura, Calif., and Bobbie Keener of Lake Hughes, Calif.; a sister, Dora Manipon of Augsburg; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church at Augsburg by the Rev. Darrell Kobs. Burial will be in Augsburg Lutheran Cemetery by Shinn Funeral Service.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Juanita Mills
Juanita 'Nita' Lovett O'Mire Mills, 72, of Russellville died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004, at Arkansas Heart Hospital at Little Rock.
Born Nov. 23, 1931, in Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late William and Emma Carr Lovett. She worked in food service for several years and also with public relations. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Roy Arvin O'Mire and Bill Mills.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael and Linda O'Mire of Troy, Mich., and Daniel O'Mire of Russellville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Jimmy Eubanks of Russellville, Becky and Phil Simmons of Bellingham, Wash., and Shelia and Peter Montrond of Enterprise, Ala.; 11 grandchildren, Jacob Bewley, Gabrielle Montrond, Aaron Montrond, Monique Vining, Anjelisa Kennedy, Jeffery Simmons, Matthew Simmons, Brent Simmons, Joshua Simmons, Matthew O'Mire and Mindy O'Mire; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Shinn Chapel by the Rev. Steve Pyle and Dr. Michael O'Mire. Burial will be in Culpepper Cemetery at Formosa (Van Buren County) by Shinn Funeral Service.

Bobby Brock
Bobby Leon Brock, 39, of Russellville died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004, at Dardanelle Hospital.
He was born Oct. 17, 1964, in Russellville. He was an owner/operator of Brock Sales Inc., a wholesale furniture representative and Cleo's Furniture Outlet. He was a member of the Arkansas Furniture Association and All Saints' Episcopal Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby George Brock; a brother, Rodney Lynn Brock; and his grandparents, Johnny Goddard, George Washington Brock and Ethel Elizabeth Brock.
Survivors include his wife, Dee Brock, a son, Chandler Jarrett Brock, and a daughter, Kylee Alexis Brock, all of the home; his mother, Shirley Goddard Brock of Russellville; a sister, Robin LaJune Brock of Russellville; his grandmother, Emma Goddard of Russellville; his mother-in-law, Rebecca Meyer of Dardanelle; his father-in-law and step-mother-in-law, Edward and Clara Meyer of Fort Smith; and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Judy Garner and Kenny McClure of Dardanelle.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday at All Saints' Episcopal Church with the Rev. Walt Friese officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park by Shinn Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be Walter Ramsey, Richard Morgan, Kenny McClure, Randy Keisler, Ralph McCormick and Bob Hardwick.
Honorary pallbearers are Al Brown, Rudy Rudolph, George Mueller and Robb McCormick.

Margie Ellen Beck, 73, of New Blaine died Tuesday, June 22, 2004, at Clarksville.
She was a dairy farmer and caregiver.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Russell Lee Farmer and husband of eight years, John M. Beck; parents, William Clarence and Lula Mae Garrett Clark; a brother; and two sisters.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Janette Farmer of Delaware; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Don Bland of Danville and Laura and Jerry Brewer of Midway; stepchildren and spouses, Virginia and Bob Jasper of Fort Smith, Jimmy Beck of Russellville, Paula and Jeff Ham of Florida, Gloria and Sammy Bowman of Midway, and Lori and Ian Cargill of Oklahoma; 23 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service and burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Russell Cemetery at Belleville. Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home of Paris.
Bernice Robertson
Bernice Owens Robertson, 85, of Paris died Wednesday, June 23, 2004, at Paris Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Born Feb. 15, 1919, at Booneville, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Maude Howard Owens, a former sales clerk in retail clothing stores and a member of Paris Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester G. Robertson; and a sister.
Survivors include a son, Larry Wayne Robertson and his wife, Janet, of Columbus, Ohio; two brothers, Bill Owens and his wife, Edith, of Plainview; and Clayton Owens of Dyersburg, Tenn.; a nephew; and a niece.
Graveside service and burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Salem Cemetery at Plainview with Jim Bob Humphrey officiating. Arrangements are by Humphrey Funeral Service.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the cemetery.
Jane Moseley
Jane E. Moseley, 70, of Elgin, Ill., a native of Russellville, died Monday, June 21, 2004, at her home.
She was born Dec. 4, 1933, to Hillard and Annise Skidmore, a graduate of American Conservatory of Music in Chicago, Ill., with a master's degree in piano performance, and a piano teacher. She had been a resident of Elgin since 1964. She was a member of Music Teachers National Association, American College of Musicians, American Guild of Organist, Dalcroze Society of America and Westminster Presbyterian Church. She played the organ at Westminster Presbyterian Church for several years and was a substitute organist at other churches. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Jill Elizabeth Moseley; and a grandson, Llewellyn Emile Gerber.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Carroll Moseley; a son, Robin C. Moseley and his wife, Kimberly, of Elgin; a daughter, Dr. Elizabeth Gerber and her husband, Werner, of Switzerland; and six grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Westminster Presbyterian Church at Elgin with the Rev. Ewan Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery by Laird Funeral Home of Elgin.
Memorials may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church or Westminster Christian School.
Caleb Matchett
Caleb Michael Matchett, infant son of Michael Dale and Brandy Dawn Loveless Matchett of Russellville, died Tuesday, June 22, 2004, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center.
Survivors also include maternal grandparents, Arivell 'Bud' and Johnnie Loveless; paternal grandparents, Glen and LaDonna Matchett; paternal great-grandparents, Naomi Matchett, and Billy Don and Myrtle Burris, all of Russellville; an uncle; and four aunts.
A private graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Saint Joe Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
John David Sewell
John David Sewell, 46, of Russellville died Saturday, June 19, 2004, in Russellville.
The son of James Edward and the late Edith Virginia Munford Sewell, he was born May 29, 1958, at Batesville. He worked as a machinist with Dana Corporation for 15 years and was a friend to all.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, James and Juanita Sewell of Russellville; two brothers, Larry Sewell and wife, Pam, of Murphy, Texas, and Michael Sewell and wife, Angela, of Scotland, Ark.; two sisters, Connie Sims and husband, Dennis, of Charleston, S.C., and Becky Sewell of Conway; two stepsisters, Carla Warren of Branson, Mo., and Ramona Long of Memphis, Tenn.; his beloved nieces, Brandie Sims Alexander, Elizabeth Sewell, Brittanie-Anne Sims and Emily Sewell; his beloved great-nephew, Leighton Alexander; his adopted family, Carol Lawrence, and her daughters, Shamber and Danielle.
The family will hold a memorial service at 10 a.m. Friday at East Point Baptist Church with the Rev. Ira Taylor officiating. Cremation arrangements are by Humphrey Funeral Service.
