Bill McClanahan, 70, of Carthage, Mo., formerly of Russellville, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999.
Survivors include his wife, Amanda McClanahan; a son; five daughters; a brother, Russell McClanahan of Russellville; a sister, Tommey Rogers of California; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral was last Thursday at Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery at Carthage.
Robbie Jones
CLARKSVILLE -- Robbie Foster Jones, 79, of Hartman died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home.
She was a native of Montana, Ark., daughter of the late Bob and Lou Tipton Foster, a 1938 graduate of Hartman High School and a retired cook at the Tulsa, Okla., schools.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Orville Jones; a son and daughter-in-law, Gorman and Sharron Jones of Hartman; a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Earnest Walker of Hartman; a brother, Thurman Foster of Hartman; three grandchildren, Mark, Dale and Rebecca Jones of Tulsa; and four great-grandchildren, Ryan, Kaysi, Michelle and Jacob Jones of Tulsa.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hardwicke Chapel. Burial will be in Hartman Cemetery by Hardwicke Funeral Service.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Gertie Baugus
Gertie Baugus, 77, of Wynne died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, at Crittenden Memorial Hospital at West Memphis.
Born Oct. 18, 1922, at Fort Douglas (Johnson County), she was the daughter of the late Sam and Clara Phillips, widow of Floyd Baugus, a graduate of Dover High School and Arkansas Polytechnic College (now Arkansas Tech University). She moved to Wynne in 1953, teaching fifth grade and special education until retiring in 1984. Mrs. Baugus was a member of the Cross County Retired Teachers and First United Methodist Church at Wynne.
Survivors include two sons, John E. Baugus of Odenton, Md., and James M. Baugus of Wynne; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church at Wynne by the Rev. Roger Hook and Odell McCallum. Burial will be in McFadden Cemetery at Dover by Kernodle Funeral Service of Wynne.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Kernodle Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church at Wynne, Arkansas Childrens Hospital or the Kiwanis Earl Collins Foundation.
Pearl Clark
CLARKSVILLE -- Pearl P. Clark, 93, of Clarksville died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a retired factory worker, daughter of the late Alexander and Sarah Cowan Harderson, widow of Floyd Clark and a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include two sons, Alvin H. Hollon of Springdale and Argus Hollon of Clarksville; three daughters, Edma M. Ramirez of Knoxville, Letha A. Flemming of Anaheim, Calif., and Floydell Johnson of Salem, Ore.; 24 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Oakland Street Church by the Rev. Carl Sory. Burial will be in Mossville Cemetery at Mossville by Roller-Cox Funeral Service.
Pallbearers include Bryan Vaughn, Eddie Kimbrel, Orbie Harderson, Russell Harderson, Barry Vaughn and Kenny Kimbrel.

Margarette Dodd
Margarette Dixon Dodd, 88, of Little Rock, a native of Ola, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000.
She was born Dec. 16, 1911, to Ernest and Marjory Dixon and was a charter member of Westwood Garden Club, a life member of Arkansas Federation of Garden Clubs and Jennie B. Hopkins Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of Western Hills United Methodist Church, all at Little Rock.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmo Edward Dodd; three brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include a son, David Owen Dodd and his wife, Shirley, of Russellville; two daughters, Doris D. Dunlap and Darah R. Davis of Little Rock; a brother, James William Dixon of Ashdown; three sisters, Celeste Stewart of Little Rock, Ruby Billie Shelton of Amarillo, Texas, and Johnnie Bubs Hickey of Garland, Texas; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Chapel at 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock by the Rev. Don Umfleet and the Rev. Jay Culpepper. Burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery.

CLARKSVILLE -- James Ralph Garrett, 77, of Midwest City, Okla., a native of the Harmony community, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at Midwest City.
Born Dec. 22, 1922, he was the son of the late Joe and Anna Garrett, a graduate of Clarksville High School, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Nicoma Park United Methodist Church at Midwest City.
Survivors include his wife, Fern Garrett; two sons and daughters-in-law, James Glenn and Linda Garrett of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Robert Dan and Leah Garrett of Choctaw, Okla.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Edythe Kathleen and Roy Golightly of Norfork, Peggy Sue and Mike Selfridge of Harrah, Okla., Lesa Diane and Tom Vasquez of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Terri Beth and Dennis Terrill of Midwest City, Okla.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Dorothy Garrett of Phoenix, Ariz., and Hall and Jean Garrett of Clarksville; a sister and brother-in-law, Ann and John Williamson of Clarksville; and 15 grandchildren.

CLARKSVILLE -- Lillie May Harderson, 97, of Clarksville died Thursday, March 2, 2000, at Lamar.
She was the daughter of the late Miles and Joanna Dewberry Ritchie, widow of Earl Harderson and a member of Second Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Basil Harderson of Clarksville and Tony Harderson of Lamar; a daughter, Louise Fredrick of Osceola, Ind.; three sisters, Iva Moore of Oark, and Diana McNew and Lois Orman of Arkansas; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Roller-Cox Chapel by the Rev. Clayton Rylee. Burial will be in Cassville Cemetery by Roller-Cox Funeral Service.
