Bud Blaylock, 51, of Payson, died Sept. 26, 2000. He was born on Nov. 29, 1948 in Red Lodge, Mt., and had lived in Payson for the past 12 years.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce, of Payson; four sons, Jack Blaylock, and wife Katie, of Payson; Tyler Blaylock, of Payson, Chance Blaylock, of Payson and Randy Blaylock, of Washington; two daughters, Eboni Blaylock, of Payson and Lori Blaylock, of Montana. Two grandchildren, Jalynn Blaylock, and Shaylee Hail, of Payson; two sisters, Knoxann Armijo, of California and Donna Kelly, of Montana; two brothers, Scott Blaylock, of Montana, and Rusty Workman, of Gilbert, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine Music, step-father, Knox Blaylock, and father, Bud Linderman.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2 at Messinger Payson Funeral Home.
Arrangements were handled by Messinger Payson Funeral Home.
Nancy Gerboth

Nancy Owsley Gerboth, 63, of Tonto Basin, died Oct. 3, 2004 in Payson. She was born July 14, 1941 in Farmington, N.M.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Gerboth of Tonto Basin; daughters, Lynn Houser of Canadian, Texas and Cheryl Tabor of New River, Ariz.; son, Logan Franks of Phoenix, and four grandchildren.
A graveside service was held at Thursday, Oct. 7 at Pioneer Cemetery.
Donations can be made to RTA Hospice of Payson, 511 S. Mud Springs Road, Payson, AZ 85541.

Joan A. Goodwin

Joan Ann Goodwin, 73, of Tonto Basin, died March 25, 2004 in Payson. She was born May 29, 1930 in Elmira, N.Y.
Mrs. Goodwin was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Lewis Goodwin of Tonto Basin; sons, Robert W. Goodwin of Cave Creek, Richard L. Goodwin of Mesa, Roy A. Goodwin and Lee J. Goodwin, both of Tonto Basin; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
No services will be held.

Ernest Wood

Ernest J. Wood, 88, of Gisela, died Jan. 4, 2001. He was born to Thomas and Emily (Whittaker) Wood April 1, 1912, in Canute, Okla.
Ernest married Cleta on Nov. 13, 1945. In 1946, the young family moved to Payson from Canute, Okla.
Mr. Wood worked as a diesel and refrigeration electrician until his 1963 retirement from the Southern Pacific Railroad after 22 years of service. Ernest was a devout Christian and an active member of his church. He enjoyed farming, carpentry, gardening and baseball. He was a descendent of a Revolutionary War soldier.
Survivors include his wife, Cleta J. Wood, of Payson; one son, Rickie P. Wood of Payson; two daughters, Nelly J. Gorslin of Payson and Toni G. Browne, of Portland, Ore.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services were held Jan. 16 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
Arrangements were handled by Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, Prescott, Ariz.
Michael Laumb

Michael Eugene Laumb, 45, of Mesa, died at his home Jan. 28, 2001.
Mr. Laumb was born. Sept. 16, 1955 in Duluth, Minn. He was injured in a motorcycle accident in 1974 that left him with disabilities.
Mr. Laumb moved to Payson in 1981, and in 1999, he moved with his mother to Mesa.
He is survived by his mother, Janice Laumb of Mesa; one son, Michael of San Diego Calif.; one sister, Diane Roberson and her husband, Randy, of Payson, one niece, Michele Roberson; one nephew, Matthew Roberson; and two grandchildren.
Mr. Laumb was preceded in death by his father, Marlowe "Mel" Laumb.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday Feb. 3, 2001, at Melcher's Mission Chapel, 6625 East Main Street in Mesa.
