Louise Bullock Jones, 84, of Payson, died June 14, 2000, in Payson. She was born March 31, 1916, in Alex, Okla.
Mrs. Jones married David Jones Jan. 10, 1934, in Grady County, Okla.
Survivors include her husband, David, of Payson; two daughters, Peggy Downing of Oceanside, Calif., and Patricia Gilliam of Marana, Ariz.; one son, Charles R. Jones of Payson; five sisters, Gertrude Doran of Phoenix; Jewell Guinn of Chickasha, Okla., Geraldine Miller of Broken Arrow, Okla., Murlene McGill of Chickasha, Okla., and June Liejfield of Bend, Ore; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
The memorial service will be private.

William Darnall

William Dean Darnall, 77, of Payson, died June 15, 2000, in Payson. He was born July 25, 1922 in Des Moines, Iowa.
Mr. Darnall was a World War II Navy veteran and a retired pressman. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 69 of Payson, the Payson Moose Lodge and the Hilltoppers MC Club of Signal Hill, Calif. He married Margaret Marshall Nov. 11, 1944, in San Diego, Calif.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret, of Payson; one daughter, Susan Marie Clawson of Orange, Calif.; two sons, William Dale Darnall of Bellflower, Calif. and Scott Milo Darnall of Scottsdale, Ariz.; one brother, Gary R. Marshall of Los Angeles, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
No services are planned.

Rev. Ernest "Skip" P. Ward II

Rev. Ernest "Skip" P. Ward II, of Huntington, W.Va., and a former resident of Payson, died March 4, 2005 in St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, W.Va., following a long illness.
Survivors include his wife Harriett Bays Ward of Huntington, W.Va.; mother, Anita Ward; sisters, Paula Risher and Linda Queiruga of Arizona; brother, Marty Ward of Arizona; stepdaughters, Tracey of Pennsylvania, Jennifer of Lavalette, W.Va. and Danielle of South Carolina; special friends, Rev. and Mrs. Cliff Eastham; and members of his church family, whom he served as an associate pastor.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest, and sister, Nancy Tufte.
A memorial service was held March 6 at the Power of Faith Church in Huntington, W.Va.
A second memorial service will be held in Payson at a later date.
Bette J. Neely

Bette J. Neely, 72, of Payson, died Dec. 18, 2005 in Phoenix after a long illness.
She was born Bette Jean Scherz April 27, 1933, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
She married Templeton Greer (T.G.) Neely in 1954.
The family moved to Tucson in 1967 and to Phoenix in 1970. They also spent 10 years in Southern California. The Neelys moved to Payson in 1994.
Mrs. Neely was widowed in 2003 and moved to Phoenix to be closer to her children.
She is survived by her children Greg (Marie) and Laura (Nathan); and grandchildren Rafael (26), Laura (23), Javier (21), Soledad (20), Joseph (11) and Megan (8).
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 29 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 3550 E. Knox Road, Phoenix. A reception will follow at Bahama Breeze restaurant, 7200 W. Ray Road, Chandler.
