Nora Ruth Waer, 92, of Payson, died March 15, 2005. She was born Feb. 26, 1913 in Chester, N.J.
Mrs. Waer was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, Jack (Becky) Waer of Payson; sisters, Lois Barker of Chester, N.J. and Phyllis Dubinko of New Jersey; grandchildren, Brian Waer of Mesa and Deirdre Waer of Portland, Ore.; great-grandchildren, Jamal Waer and Jonie Waer, both of Mesa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Lewis Waer.
Services will be private.

Mary Louise (Hein) Smith

Mary Louise (Hein) Smith, 83, died peacefully at her Payson home on March 6, 2005. She was surrounded by her family, hospice nurse and doctor.
Mrs. Smith had been a resident of Payson since 1998, before that, she made her home in Peoria, Ariz., from 1974 to 1998; and near Minneapolis, Minn., where she raised her family.
She is survived by Ray, her devoted husband of 63 years; daughters, Jerre (Ray) Leavens of Payson and Joyce (Bill) Williams of Plymouth, Minn.; brother, Walter (Mary) Hein of Casper, Wyo.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life is planned for family and friends from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 12 at Teisha Chiarelli's home in Peoria, Ariz.

Doil Edison Storie

Doil Edison Storie, 73, of Payson, died March 5, 2005. He was born May 11, 1931 in Parker, Ariz.
Mr. Storie was a Naval Korean War veteran. In his 30-year career as an electrical engineer with Hughes Aircraft Company, he held many important positions with the Department of Defense.
He is survived by his sisters, Lois McVey, Jean Meehan and Margie Johnson; brothers, Murrie Storie and Sonny Dunn; sons, Doil Storie, Jr., Benjamin Storie, Dave Storie, Mark Henning, Paul Swank and Ray Hatch; and granddaughters, Stephanie and Amanda Storie.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Dillon Storie and Bill Storie.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 9 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1000 Easy St. in Payson.

Gerald Mimnaugh

Gerald Albert Mimnaugh, 82, of Payson died Dec. 19, 2000, in Phoenix. He was born April 3, 1918, in Traverse City, Mich.
Mr. Mimnaugh was an aviation inspector.
Survivors include one daughter, Margaret Buehl, of Palm Desert, Calif; four stepchildren, Ron Weaver of South America, Dick Weaver of Mountain View, Calif., Sally Louder of Carson City, Nev., and Lonnie Weaver of Sacramento, Calif.
No services are planned.
