Ella Eloise (Lois) Jordan Hamlett, 64, died July 30, 2004. She was born Dec. 11, 1939 in Tolleson, Ariz.
Her family was her life, along with her animals: two dogs, five cats, four birds and a pond full of goldfish. She worked in the Washington and Creighton school districts for 26 years. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 48 years, Joseph Howard Hamlett; children: Linda Lois Bragg and her partner, Frank Seleey; Connie Gayle (Bill) Smith, and Bryan Daniel Hamlett; grandchildren: Jason Bragg, Joseph Bragg, Jeffrey Bragg, Randall Lewis, Jennifer Lewis, Jessica Smith, Rebecca Smith and William Smith, Jr.; two sisters: Donna Hight and Ruth (Tom) McKisson of Phoenix; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.
She was preceded in death by two daughters: Susan Gail Hamlett and Cheryl Kay Lewis.

Mary Louise Dierker Morris

Mary Louise Dierker Morris, 75, of Payson, died Dec. 31, 2004. She was born May 7, 1929 in Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Morris was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She moved to Arizona at age 5, met her husband at Fort Huachuca in 1951 and, after his graduation from the University of Arizona, moved to California where they raised their family. She worked as an administrative assistant. Upon retirement, the couple moved to Payson, where they have lived for the past 11 years.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Frank; her daughters, Danielle (Russ) Graham of Payson, and Jolie Morris of Burbank, Calif.; son, Steven Morris of Valencia, Calif.; granddaughters, Roberta Flynn of Phoenix, Kathleen Lamoreaux (Brig) of Gilbert, Ariz., Victoria Graham and Elizabeth Graham of Payson; grandsons, Matthew Flynn of Chandler, Ariz., Michael Graham and David Graham of Payson; great-grandson, Ezra Brig Lamoreaux of Gilbert; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Morris and Nephew Frank Morris of El Mirage, Calif.
Mrs. Morris was greatly loved and, equally, will be greatly missed.

Betty Jean Meadows

Betty Jean Meadows, 77, of Payson, Ariz., died Jan. 3, 2005 in Payson. She was born Oct. 18, 1927 in Newton, Kan.
Mrs. Meadows owned and operated Hays Dental Laboratory with her husband in Hays, Kan. for 27 years. She moved to Payson in 1976. She worked for the Town of Payson for 13 years in the finance department. She also was a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Odendahl of Payson; sons, Warren "Doug" (Marti) Meadows of Payson, and Donald (Kathy) Meadows of Oklahoma City, Okla; brother, Jack (Wanda) Yinger of Wichita, Kan.; seven grandchildren, Kelly Herzog of Phoenix; Tom (Amy) Meadows of Houston, Texas; Tammy (Steve) Kraabel of McGuire AFB, N.J.; Cade Johnstone of Nashville, Tenn.; Rory Johnstone now serving in Iraq; Travis (Wendy) Meadows of Gilbert, Ariz.; Alicia Meadows of Phoenix; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren E. "Jack" Meadows on July 25, 2003; sister, Vivian Yinger; and parents, Vern and Helen Yinger.
There will be a funeral service at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005 at Messinger Payson Funeral Home, 302 W. Aero Drive, Payson, with intermenty at Mountain Meadows Memorial Park, Payson, Ariz.

Myrna Lynn Ronan, 49, of Payson, died Sept. 28, 2003. She was born Dec. 7, 1953 in Yuma, Ariz.
She was the loving daughter of Kenneth and Esther Lobb, and was loved and will always be remembered by her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynette Louise Cole of Yuma; son, Kenneth Brent Cole of Yuma; sister, Connie J. Olson of Payson; brothers, Kirt N. Lobb of Glendale and Kim K. Lobb of Scottsdale; and four grandchildren.
A private ceremony will be held.
