Letitia Szelestey of Youngtown died Aug. 6, 2003. She was 88. Originally from Indiana, she moved to Arizona in 1976. She worked in retail sales. Richard Stull of Youngtown died Aug. 4, 2003. He was 65. Originally from MIchigan, he moved to Arizona in 1985. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as an administrator at Clark Equipment Co. He is survived by his wife, Bettie, and a nephew. Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services.
Ericca E. Thompson of Sun City died Aug. 12, 2003. She was 85. She was a school teacher in Glendale who came to Arizona from Nebraska. Survivors include her husband, Alrie. Menke Funeral Home.
John A. Totten of Sun City died Aug. 13, 2003. He was 81. He was an engineer and served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He came to Arizona from Indiana. Survivors include his wife, Marie. Menke Funeral Home.
Edward C. Trzcinski of Sun City West died Aug. 11, 2003. He was 86. He was an administrator in the Detroit public school system before coming to Arizona 23 years ago. Survivors include his wife, Nira; son, Vincent; brother, Stanley; sisters Anne Dingwall and Eleanor Wells; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Camino del Sol Funeral Chapel.
Irene Wayne of Sun City died July 27, 2003. She was 88. Originally from California, she worked as an administrative assistant. Menke Funeral Home.
Helen Baber Young of Sun City died Aug. 2, 2003. She was 88. Originally from South Carolina, he was a retired teacher. Menke Funeral Home.
Evelyn Martynowicz of Sun City died July 22, 2003. She was 78. Originally from Illinois, she was a retired clerk. She is survived by her husband, Frank. Menke Funeral Home.
William McColl of Sun City West died July 28, 2003. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He moved to Arizona in 1979 from Leominster, Mass. He worked as a carpenter for 30 years and was supervisor of maintenance at the Sundome in Sun City West. He is survived by daughters Kathleen Comeau, Laura Ciprotti and Maureen Ciesla; sons Willaim, Robert and Thomas; 15 grandchildren; eight great-granchildren; a sister and a brother. Gertrude Purd of Sun City died July 26, 2003. She was 92. Originally from Henderson, Minn., she worked as a deputy registrar. She is survived by her husband, Bill. Best Funeral Services and Chapel.
